Absolutely delightful! We stayed here for 2 memorable nights. Right from the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted by the staff who immediately made us feel very much at home. The staff were attentive and patient. They had even gotten their handyman to take a look at our luggage wheel which got damaged during the flight Check-in was really easy and hassle-free. We were very fortunate to get an upgrade to our booked accommodation and got a bigger room with same lake view. Our room was clean and very quiet and heard no noise at all. Standard amenities were available in the room with complementary mineral water (4 bottles) and soft drinks (coke, sprite). Do book a room with lake view as the view is incredible! We can see the lake from our room sitting on the nice sofa which is placed next to the window. Breakfast was at the nice revolving restaurant at the 20th floor. Good variety of Chinese local food with more limited choices of western salad and Japanese sushi. The ceiling to floor glass window offers an unparalleled view of West Lake. No frets if cannot get a seat with lake view as sooner than later that West Lake comes into view after a while. Check-out process was just as simple. We would LOVE to come back to stay with 友好饭店 when we come back next time!
