Perfectly fine but if you’re budget conscious, this isn’t the place to spend extra $$. After looking at options on the peninsula, this seemed like the best option, even though it was more expensive than other options. The view was great but not really worth paying more when all we really wanted was good food and a comfy place to sleep. Did not love our meals, pretty bland overall. Also, the pillows on the bed were flat. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but not a great value for what you get.
Fossatun Camping Pods & Cottages - Sleeping Bag Accommodation

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. This place is actually in a nature attraction by itself. It has its own waterfall and a running river. Amazing. Breakfast wss excellent and we enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant they are running with a good food and reasonable price. It could have been excellent, but there are a major problem: The main big window is overlooking the parking place and the passway between the rooms and the waterfall. It is built so the bed is right behind the big window and everyone who passes by is looking at your bed and into your room. It actually means that the curtain must be shut down so that you cannot enjoy the view. All in all it is an awesome place to stay in. Don't miss it.

A great house, at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, super beautiful. Driving to Church Hill for 5 minutes, I saw the northern lights at night, The house is very clean and can cook. I also saw a rice cooker.
Lækjarkot Rooms and Cottages with Kitchen

PROS: We stayed in the twin room with kitchenette. The kitchenette was very handy to have in the room with a small stove, fridge and toaster, and was well stocked with cutlery, pots/pans, chopping boards - allowing us to prepare some meals there. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with a modern vanity. It exceeded my expectations based on the pictures. CONS: Nothing for what we paid for and what we expected. Only issue was the check-in process, we were running a bit late for the 7pm end of check-in and were unsure how to contact the property to inform them, and then organise late check-in, but there were staff present when we arrived at ~7.15pm.

My wife and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, full of large rooms, and a cubicle similar to the living room, and the sofa is a sofa bed, so if there are 3-4 people, it is no problem; you can see the church directly from the window. The room is completely slippers, very clean! The kitchen on the 1st floor has complete ovens, gas stoves and other kitchen equipment to use! There is a parking lot nearby and parking is very convenient.
Dalakot Búdardal

Staff were very approachable, friendly and offered some good advice on the roads in the surrounding area. Our room was a good size and there was a small sink within and access to shared bathroom facilities. We never had any issue getting the use of them when required and there was plenty of room within them. We ate our evening meal at Dalakot and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our burgers and beer. The male waiter was very good in showing us the local craft beers they had available and gave some good recommendations. Breakfast was simple yet fresh and tasty and there was plenty to go around all the guests. We had a good stay at Dalakot and would definitely stay again if in the area.
