The hotel's handling of the situation was also very simplistic – they just moved us to another room. Because it was so late and we were rushing, my friend's Pandora earrings went missing. Although the hotel later gave us a gift regarding the earrings, this experience was genuinely terrible for us. It felt incredibly perfunctory."

"Traveling to Zhoushan in late March or early April during the rainy season is actually a great time to experience the charming 'misty江南' (Jiangnan region) vibe of the island. Although you can't sunbathe, the cloud-shrouded sea views have their own unique charm. What a coincidence, Huan Xiaopeng perfectly met our needs: comfortable accommodation, close proximity to the pier for activities, and a wide selection of nearby dining options. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home."

"Don't be fooled by the name 'resort village,' it's more like a guesthouse with a nice environment. We went there with our kids during the May Day holiday. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was a hotel with plenty of public areas. In reality, it's located in a villa complex, basically a collection of villas. The decor is like an all-season style, and while the price is usually around two to three hundred, it shot up to almost a thousand during May Day. We stayed for two nights. It's newly renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. They offer one-on-one butler service, and they respond quickly if you need anything delivered. The breakfast is pretty standard, but then again, many hotels in Zhoushan don't even offer breakfast."

"Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Xiaolin at the front desk. Not only did she upgrade me to an executive floor, but seeing that we had a child, she also provided complimentary breakfast and a welcome fruit platter. It was a truly friendly reception. The hotel's cleanliness was perfectly fine, and the view was good. There's just one thing I hope they can improve: the water pressure from the sink faucet is too strong. Every time I wash my hands or clothes, water splashes everywhere. I hope this can be fixed; otherwise, everything else was great, and I'll definitely come back next time!"

The location is also excellent, right next to a big park and a foot massage parlor, perfect for some good rest and relaxation. Then you can go back and sleep comfortably in that great big bed. "Cons: It was quite crowded during the summer, so the wait for a room was a bit long. The room had a smoke smell, and the hallway soundproofing was poor. The towels made my child break out in a rash after swimming, but thankfully it cleared up on its own. Pros: The scenery is beautiful, and it's close to the beach. The unlimited access to Dongsha is a nice touch. Although the family pool is very sunny during the day, it's quite pleasant in the evening."

"After visiting Mount Putuo, I stayed in Zhoushan. It was very convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel room was large and the facilities were new, especially the bathroom. The shower water was very large. It was super comfortable after a day of climbing. The front desk was also very considerate and sent delicious food when I checked out. The only thing was that the breakfast was not replenished in time. When I went there at 9 o'clock, many basins were empty. I hope it will be improved in the future."
