There was a balcony with a really beautiful view. Even though our room didn’t have a washing machine, the hotel actually provided one for us to use for free. And it was super convenient to order food here. The staff were really excellent—they gave great recommendations and helped with everything. I really loved it and would definitely recommend that if you come to Zhoushan, you should stay here."

"Stayed here for a night before heading to Putuoshan. It's about 5km from the ferry terminal, a 20-minute taxi ride. The hotel offers free parking, so you can leave your car here while you visit Putuoshan. The service was excellent, but the room itself was a bit unmemorable."

"The hotel I stayed at this time had a great view, right by Dongsha Beach. The beach was closed after the typhoon, but the hot spring tub in our room faced the beach, which was still nice. My kids really enjoyed the reading corner in the common area. Breakfast was also very generous. The public area outside the breakfast restaurant had a fantastic view."

Everything was very satisfactory, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"Honestly, everything else was pretty good, but the only downside was the loud air conditioning at night, which made it hard to sleep. So, next time I go to Putuo Mountain, I'll have to reconsider the value for money. The noise at night was really unbearable, especially for my mom who's a light sleeper – even earplugs didn't help. Everything else was fine, but this was the biggest flaw. And there was also a strange smell in the room, I'm not sure if it was from a recent renovation, but it was quite bothersome."

"The "Pillar of the East China Sea" fish tank in the lobby is very impressive. The hotel service staff is very enthusiastic. The housekeeper Wu Juan is very attentive and considerate. She helps solve problems in time. The hotel is very close to the Ocean Park, Rainforest Animal Park, and the beach. Children can observe beluga whales and penguins up close. The performances are also very suitable. You can take a break after watching one and then watch the next one. There is no rush at all, which is very suitable for taking children. Parents can easily achieve "hands-off walking". I went there on weekdays during the off-season. There were not many people and the experience was better. I watched the beluga whale show three times in two days."

On top of that, there's a charge to use the pool, and doing laundry costs 20 yuan per wash, which is basically a rip-off. The breakfast was also very poor with limited choices."

"Rarely do we get to vacation in Zhoushan, and choosing the Westin was absolutely a hit, no regrets whatsoever! I must give a special shout-out to Diana at the front desk! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. Check-in was efficient and quick, and she spoke so gently and patiently. She arranged a room type that perfectly suited our travel preferences and meticulously explained everything we needed to know about the pool and beach. The hotel boasts stunning frontline sea views, and the private beach is clean and comfortable. Our room was spotless and odor-free, allowing us to enjoy the sea view right from our bed. Breakfast was quite good, with a wide array of local specialties. There are also many restaurants nearby, all offering good value for money. Plus, you can walk about two kilometers to Xiaowushitang. All in all, the service throughout our stay was attentive and heartwarming. Diana's thoughtful and meticulous service truly enhanced our entire trip, making it incredibly enjoyable. Highly recommend it – we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Zhoushan!"
