The landscape was green and so quiet. Beautiful garden around our rooms. Perfect for recharge our energy and refresh our soul and mind.

GGuest UserNice hotel, in a new area a bit far from city center. Clean room, not very big but with all the things you need for a nice stay. Refrigerator was not connected to plug and AC was not working, luckly it was not too hot. Breakfast buffet was fine. Wifi connection works well. Good to have a mall in the front with supermarket too. I attended bike race and this hotel was not so prepared to accept cyclists and their needs for the race ( early breakfast and delayed checkout).

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for two consecutive nights. My plans for the second day were originally undecided. When I later inquired about extending my stay, the hotel informed me there were no special discounts for extensions, and the price was identical to what was listed on Ctrip. Fair enough, as it was a weekend and hotel prices usually go up, so I decided to check out other hotels. However, when I returned from my excursion and decided to extend, I found that the hotel's price had actually dropped compared to the previous night. If I had extended my stay directly that morning, I would have seriously overpaid.
Perhaps because it was my first time staying here, a hotel staff member contacted me by phone and added me on WeChat the day before to confirm if it was my initial visit. Once I confirmed, everything was perfectly arranged. Upon arrival at the pier, a hotel shuttle bus picked us up and took us to the hotel (this was the most important reason I chose this place). As soon as we disembarked, a bellhop helped with our luggage and delivered it directly to our room after check-in. The front desk mentioned a room upgrade (though I honestly felt it was no different from what I booked, and I didn't book the most basic room to begin with). The room's environment and cleanliness were quite good, and any extra amenities requested were delivered promptly. Overall, it was a pleasant and satisfying first night's stay.
However, everything changed on the second day. Being a weekend, the hotel was accommodating tour groups. Check-in was incredibly slow, and the front desk staff seemed rather indifferent, completely lacking a customer service mindset. Despite room availability clearly allowing for it and my being a two-night consecutive guest, there was no room upgrade offered. Most notably, for a four-star hotel, they didn't even offer late check-out; I was informed the latest check-out time was 1 PM. The dehumidifier's water collection tank in the room was full, and before checking out, I even found a small spider crawling on the wall 😅.
My overall impression of the service industry on Putuoshan is that it operates with an attitude of 'take it or leave it – we don't lack tourists anyway, so just come and leave quickly.' The island's management is also extremely poor, which was quite disappointing to say the least.

Zzilong520I originally planned to take my child to Mount Putuo and booked a highly-rated family room. To my surprise, this family-friendly hotel exceeded all expectations. They were very thoughtful, inquiring about our needs before check-in, and the in-room amenities for children were incredibly convenient and considerate. I even fell in love with the shower cap, and the smell of the kids' toothbrush and toothpaste! The balcony in our third-floor family room was spacious and lovely. There's also a small children's play area on the third-floor terrace, and the 'snowflakes' sprayed during the Christmas season were just adorable. Dinner prices were comparable to outside restaurants, so we just ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The weather warmed up to 21 degrees during our stay, perfect for an outdoor stroll to watch the sunset by the sea. The young lady at the front desk was very gentle and patient, and the breakfast was also abundant, with decor and food choices more appealing to little ones. We didn't even get a chance to try the infinity pool, indoor kids' water park, and children's playground, but we're already very satisfied. One small suggestion: the self-service dryer doesn't show the remaining time, which makes it hard to gauge when to go upstairs to retrieve laundry. A time display would be very helpful.

GGuest UserPutuoshan Guantang is located at the Fayu Temple Station of Putuoshan Tourist Bus Station. It is right outside the gate. It is very convenient for travel and has a superior geographical location. It is a wise choice for us to choose Putuoshan Guantang this time. The environment is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities and a large shower. The waiters are very friendly and answer all questions. They are very careful and responsible for keeping our luggage. I would like to praise Miss Lin at the front desk. I would especially like to thank the handsome housekeeper Xiao Pan, who contacted me by phone in advance and patiently told us in detail about all aspects of Putuoshan tourism. He arranged a car to pick up and drop off at the pier in advance. It was very thoughtful. I also give a thumbs up to the hotel management for having such good employees. This is a great experience. Putuoshan Guantang will be my first choice next time I come.

AAnonymous UserThe air conditioner in each room is like opening a blind box, the cooling effect is different. I changed several rooms, and the problems were handled in a timely manner, and the remedial measures were particularly sincere ❤️. The hotel's services are still very good 👍🏻👍🏻! Beautiful environment, wide view, it's a pity that the balcony door can't be opened. The three-separation design of the bathroom with double sinks is very convenient. There are too few tables in the room, and there is a lack of a chest of drawers in front of the TV, and there is no place to put things. Overall satisfaction, full marks for software, hardware needs to be improved. The location is a little far from Zhujiajian Wharf and Putuo Airport.

KKevin HZThe Westin in Zhoushan is a very large resort style property. We had a warm welcome from the front desk staff named Franky. He explained to us details about the hotel and how to visit the beach.
The room was large and clean. Housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning it and bringing extra water and towels for our children.
The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast food. Most of the food was bland and lacked a true western style breakfast. The coffee tasted bad and some of the food items were empty. The service in the café was fine, no complaints about the service.
I recommend this hotel to someone wanting a weekend getaway. There are many local seafood restaurants next to the hotel.

GGuest User”Service is not 'resply to any request', but 'wants to be in front of guests'. Before we could open our mouths, the concierge took the initiative to help us remove the luggage from the car and send it to the room. When it rained, the lobby staff prepared umbrellas at the door in advance. Every time we met the staff, they gave them sincere smiles and greetings. This kind of hospitality from the heart is impressive.

NNIHATThe hotel staff was good, but ı got a problem for payment with Visa credit card. As a global brand hotel 'Shangri-La” expected to accept internationla credit card payments but unfortunately not succesfull. Also Trip.com do not have agreement with hotel for ”online payment” which I can easly submit payment, but again unsuccesfull. Hope you can improve your service and agreement to give better support foreigner guest in China mainland.
