"Traveling to Mount Putuo for blessings, I arrived the night before and chose this hotel located at Banshengdong Wharf in Shenjiamen. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from the wharf. Compared to the bustling Zhujiajian Wharf, Banshengdong Wharf has much less foot traffic, which I highly recommend. Across the street from the hotel are seafood stalls, and the breakfast was decent."

"Very satisfied with this hotel, very cost-effective. This hotel is a landmark hotel and has a ground parking lot. You can park for free during your stay and there are 2 car charging piles (slow charging). The front desk staff who checked in were very welcoming and professional. When I first entered the room, I felt very comfortable and clean. It was obvious that it had just been renovated a few years ago. Another more user-friendly thing is that there is a free washing machine, which is integrated with drying and washing, which is more friendly to people who are on long-term business trips. The hotel is located in the center of the old city, just a few hundred meters away from Shenjiamen Fishing Port and Snack Street. There are seafood stalls along Bingang Road, so you can choose freely. If you like seafood stalls, you can choose this one!"

"We loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island."

"I chose to stay at the Mercure Hotel when I came to Putuo Mountain to make a wish. I stumbled upon it on Trip.com, which I guess was fate! My first impression was that it looked very clean and new, and when I arrived, I was even more pleasantly surprised. It's only a ten-minute drive from both the airport and the pier, and every staff member is incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting you with a smile, which really brightens your day. The lovely lady at the front desk even helped me upgrade my room type – huge thanks to her! The hotel lobby is beautiful and grand, and the rooms have a French light luxury style, very clean and tidy. The breakfast is abundant, and most importantly, very nutritious and healthy. They even have fresh, sugar-free kale smoothies, and the kale is grown by the hotel itself – organic and pesticide-free, perfect for those of us on a diet. My two-night stay was incredibly comfortable, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Five-star rating! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit."

"I've been coming to Putuo Mountain for several years now, and I always stay here. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Zhujiajian pier. It's my top choice whether I'm driving or flying in, as it's only about 3 kilometers from the airport. If you're driving, you can park in the hotel's underground garage, and parking is free during your stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. This time, they even upgraded our room type! The room was really spacious and clean."
