This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!

The landlord is very kind, and responds promptly if there is any problem. He will also share the surrounding sea and play routes. It is not far from the trip to Nansha and Cangzhi Wharf. The most delightful surprise was that the owner specially gifted my daughter a travel photoshoot. Amidst the play of light and shadow, it not only captured her innocent smiles in this 'Buddhist Kingdom of Sea and Sky' but also immortalized our precious parent-child moments. Upon our departure, the hosts presented each of us with a lucky bag. Holding the exquisite brocade pouch, it contained not just auspiciousness and blessings, but also the most touching warmth of this journey. This trip to the Shengsi Xuanxi Cliff Hotel was absolutely worth it! The pure white cliffside architecture is incredibly atmospheric, perfect for taking photos at every turn. The sea-view rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean, allowing you to watch the sunrise in the morning or enjoy it all from your bed. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, the infinity pool on the cliff was stunning, and the overall atmosphere was tranquil and therapeutic. It was a perfect vacation experience, definitely worth a second visit!

The room itself was very beautiful, with a big window facing the sea, the view was definitely the highlight of our stay. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll enjoy it. However, there were some downsides. The swimming pool shown in the pictures is not suitable for swimming, it’s very small and mainly for small kids, which was disappointing. The breakfast was also very basic; there were no choices, just a fixed plate! Communication was a bit difficult as the host didn’t speak English, and the check-in process was uncomfortable — she took many pictures of our passports and even asked us to help fill in the details. Overall, the view and the room are great, but don’t expect much from the facilities or breakfast.

This is a fantastic hotel in a very beautiful part of the country. We stayed for a long weekend just at the end of the off-season. The room was lovely, great views of the ocean and sunrise. The staff were so helpful from the moment we arrived. They really did go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not in use, it would have been nice to have taken a dip. It's worth bringing some snacks with you as there is not much open (that might be different in the summer season) nearby. The breakfast choice was limited, we could have eaten some fruit. But the evening meals were superb, really good. Thank you for your hospitality, highly recommended!

This was my second stay at Bihai Villa, and beyond its proximity to Puji Temple (just a wall away), I was drawn back by its elegant environment and unique architectural style. The room I stayed in was luxuriously decorated yet refined, with lighting and furniture that beautifully blended aesthetics and modern lines. The complimentary fruit and articles written by literary figures in the room added a touch of warmth, historical resonance, and tradition. The bedding, besides being clean, reassuring, and comfortable, whisked me away into dreams, allowing me to wander through the magic and legends of the Buddhist realm amidst the sea and sky. Another noteworthy mention is the beautiful Ms. Guo. While she doesn't possess the temperament of Huang Rong from Peach Blossom Island, she exudes the grace, dignity, and grandeur of a southern belle. Her gentle words of care and greetings transcend the hurried comings and goings of typical hotel stays, making you feel as if you've stumbled into the sophisticated luxury of a five-star hotel. Next time, I will still choose this hotel, not because of the charming Ms. Guo, nor the unique decor or the outdoor lotus pond, but undoubtedly because of the quality and assurance that comes from a state-owned enterprise. This is a really stylish boutique B&B in an unbeatable location. Right across the street is the biggest beach, and as soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a lovely fragrance. The air conditioning in both the rooms and the lobby is fantastic. The staff are all very enthusiastic; they even set up a concierge chat group before check-in, and they're super responsive. The breakfast was a nutritious meal, just how I like it, and the coffee shop at the entrance is great too. To all my darlings who want to stay here, hurry up and book your spot!

We stayed in a suite for three nights, checking in on June 1st. The room itself was generally good. However, the housekeeping staff clearly needs more training and improvement in their basic procedures and standards. On our first day, only one coffee packet was provided, which was inconvenient for two guests. The next day, there were no coffee packets at all, and we had to call the front desk to get two delivered. On the third day, the trash bin in the bedroom wasn't emptied. When I went to brush my teeth that evening, I found one toothbrush missing, while an extra comb was left. This meant I couldn't brush my teeth that night or the following morning, which was a terrible experience. These consecutive errors highlight how careless and unprofessional the staff's work is. There's a clear lack of proper checking and review in room cleaning, and this needs a thorough overhaul.
