LLanlinlucyThis guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!

GGuest UserThe room is really beautiful, with no blind spots and sea view rooms. The whole house is smart. The water curtain flower room restaurant is also very beautiful. You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. I will choose this restaurant next time I go.

Mmocha04The front desk staff were really welcoming and patient. They even upgraded us to a suite! The room facilities were new, and the hygiene was excellent. Although the breakfast was simple, it was clean and filling. There's free parking right in front, and it's only about a five-minute walk to catch the boat. Overall, it was super convenient and comfortable. Last year, I stayed at the Ji Hotel, which was a tiny bit closer, but it wasn't well-maintained, the rooms weren't as spacious, and the breakfast was terrible. From now on, whenever I come to Mount Putuo, I'm definitely staying at Zhenting!

XXusimpleIt is a top hotel on Putuo Mountain. I am very satisfied. The room is spacious. The supplies in the house can be seen very carefully. The voss water, Dyson's hair dryer, disposable bath bag, bubble ball for bathing, intelligent control of the whole house, and the dock transfer is also very convenient. In fact, the butler service is invincible. The corresponding speed is very fast, the real name praises the front desk brother, the young lady is attentive and thoughtful, the breakfast tastes great, and the check-out does not have to be praised, the instant goodwill is improved, really many hotels are now checking out to praise, can understand but it is really a bit annoying, Anyway, Putuo will choose this one later.

GGuest UserI booked this homestay on Ctrip, and the overall feeling is really good. The room is clean and comfortable, and the toiletries are no less than those of a five-star hotel. The environment looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it is quite warm inside. The boss gives people a very kind feeling and helps introduce places to visit around. The meals cooked by the boss's mother are fresh and delicious, and worth recommending.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

GGuest UserPutuoshan Hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Puji Temple and a 15-minute walk to the Puji Temple bus station. Across from the hotel is a commercial street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping.
**Facilities:** The room's basic facilities are very complete. The comforter isn't heavy or stuffy. The only minor issue was that the bed was a bit hard and creaked loudly when I turned over.
**Hygiene:** The room was cleaned very well, with no hair found.
**Environment:** It's very quiet. Sleeping at night was peaceful and undisturbed, which is perfect for elderly family members who have trouble sleeping.
**Service:** The customer service was very thoughtful and attentive. The hotel offers pick-up and drop-off services. Except for holidays when the ferry terminal control requires a bit of a strenuous uphill and downhill walk, everything else was fine.

The hotel requires a renovation in the public area and bathrooms (black traces of dampness on the walls, furniture broken, the carpet in public are was also peeling off, which you would not expect to see in a 4 stars hotel. The bedroom itself was renovated and the room itself is pretty big, though.
Cleaning is also to be improved, we had a lot of sand left in the shower from the previous customers.
There is no international breakfast, but the hotel is located close to the Westin (5mn walk) so you can go there.
There is a parking below.
Service is minimum, only one person at the reception desk, and no English-speaking staff.

The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious.
