NNikoas4Some people in the stuff speak english. The name of the hotel is Madison Hotel, not the one that trip says (but the photos on Trip show it). It's a 20min walk from the train station but that's because next to the train station there's nothing. In front of the hotel there's a bus stop for many bus lines. Unfortunately lanzhou (at the time of my review) only has 2 subway lines and it's easier to move by bus even though the traffic in the city is maddening. The hotel is extremly luxurious and there are also washing machines and dryers. This is the birthplace of Jiafei make sure to visit all the places she has been to during your stay.

GGuest UserExcellent! I booked this hotel for convenience, as I was attending a concert and needed to catch a train early the next morning. They even had a concert support car in the lobby! The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to West Station. The environment is good, it's quiet, the service is great, and the breakfast is delicious. Perfect!

MMichael V.People at the reception were friendly and very helpful. The room with a large window has great view over the Yellow River and was fine, everything worked well, as to be expected from Atour. We arrived very late in the night, when the restaurant was closing, but we were told where we could still get some night snack (the famous Lanzhou beef noodles, very tasty) about 12min. walk along the river to the left. The hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant, where one can enjoy a panoramic view over the city. A bus stop right in front of the hotel, or an easy catch of a taxi makes getting around town easy.

From the beginning of stepping into the hotel, you can feel the quality service of the staff, the attitude is gentle and polite, take the initiative to pour water, guide the route, and the details are full. The overall environment of the hotel is elegant, the decoration style is simple and high-end, and the sanitary condition is impeccable. Whether it is the guest room, the corridor and the lobby, it is cleaned spotlessly.
The layout of the rooms is reasonable, the lighting and ventilation are very good, the bedding is clean and soft, the facilities are complete and brand new, the curtains, lights, bathrooms, etc. are very convenient to use, and the living comfort is extremely high. The sound insulation of the hotel is very good, the rest is particularly quiet at night, and you can sleep peacefully.
The location is excellent, the travel is convenient, it is close to everywhere, and the hotel is out. Whether it is service, environment, health or facilities, it fully meets the standards of high-quality hotels. The price is super high. There is no slot. It is a perfect stay experience. If there is a demand in the future, it will be preferred!

CChenjialeMy overall stay exceeded expectations! What really impressed me was the full set of Yunnan Baiyao toiletries in the bathroom. As a well-established Chinese brand in pharmaceuticals, I completely trust their quality. There's no cheap chemical fragrance; instead, it has a subtle, soothing herbal scent. The shampoo creates a fine lather, leaving my hair roots feeling voluminous and not flat, and I even noticed less hair fall. The body wash is gentle and moisturizing, and my skin didn't feel tight or dry after showering. It's so rare to find a hotel where I don't need to bring my own toiletries. You can really see the thoughtfulness of the establishment through these consumables – both hygiene and quality are top-notch. This will definitely be my first choice for accommodation when traveling!

CClaybaughThis is an excellent hotel. It is located right on the Northwest Normal University Campus. It is easy to walk to any part of campus from the hotel. The hotel is also close to 金牛街 (Golden Cow Street), which has lots of shops and restaurants, and the Yellow River, which has nice walking and biking paths. The hotel is also just a 30min bus ride to parts of downtown Lanzhou using the BRT bus.
The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel room is comfortable, with good views from the window and soft beds. Each day the hotel provides 2 bottles of water and slippers to wear in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
The breakfast area is also nice if you pay for it. They have local beef noodles, which are delicious!
