The first thing I saw when I arrived in Lanzhou was this hotel, located on the 43rd floor. The front desk was excellent, check-in was smooth, and the service attitude was superb. The room was clean and luxurious. The service was truly wonderful, starting from the warm welcome by the concierge on the first floor. In the afternoon, when I went to Dunhuang, they were also very helpful with my luggage on the first floor. Thumbs up!

The environment is great, and it's really good value for money. The breakfast was also nice. Most importantly, the staff were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a pleasant surprise! There are also many good restaurants nearby, just a short taxi ride away (minimum fare), so it's very convenient and economical.

My recent stay at this hotel truly showed me what exceptionally thoughtful service looks like. I had an early high-speed train to catch, and on that morning, it was drizzling, a bit chilly, and the roads were slick. Worried about missing my train, I packed in a hurry, feeling flustered and anxious. On my way to the high-speed train station after checking out, as I was organizing my belongings, I suddenly realized I had left my most important ID card in the hotel room. I panicked instantly, feeling both anxious and regretful. An ID card is essential for travel; without it, I couldn't board the train, and my entire itinerary would be ruined. With the train departure time fast approaching, I had no time to go back to the hotel myself. I was at a complete loss and incredibly stressed. In my慌乱, I immediately called the hotel's front desk. The person who answered was Xiaowang, a front desk staff member. Over the phone, my words were rushed and incoherent, conveying my panic about leaving my ID and the urgency of catching my train. Xiaowang listened patiently and gently throughout, showing no hint of impatience. He calmly reassured me, telling me not to panic and to relax, promising to immediately help me search for it. After hanging up, Xiaowang went to my room right away to search, carefully checking every corner. Because I had packed in a rush, the ID card was in a rather concealed spot, making it difficult to find. However, Xiaowang didn't cut corners; he meticulously searched and checked everywhere, and finally, he successfully found my ID card. After finding the ID, knowing my train was leaving soon and I wouldn't have time to go back and forth, Xiaowang thoughtfully and proactively suggested that he could arrange a delivery service to send the ID urgently to the high-speed train station, ensuring I wouldn't miss my trip. This kind of service isn't a mandatory offering from the hotel; it was entirely Xiaowang's sense of responsibility and empathy that drove him to help a guest in need. On a rainy morning, with a considerable number of guests checking in and out, he still took time out of his duties to carefully verify my identity, confirm the station's location, quickly contact a reliable delivery person, and thoroughly explain the delivery requirements. He handled the entire process efficiently. Throughout, Xiaowang kept me updated on the search progress and the delivery status, allowing me to stay informed while en route, slowly easing my anxiety. The poor road conditions due to the rain added complications to the delivery, but he was dedicated and responsible every step of the way, without a single complaint, remaining gentle and patient. His extreme sense of responsibility made me feel incredibly secure. Ultimately, thanks to Xiaowang's excellent arrangements, my ID card arrived at the high-speed train station ahead of time, allowing me to check in and board without any delays. He truly solved my immediate crisis. For travelers, unexpected incidents are the most dreaded. Xiaowang, with his sincerity, attentiveness, and exceptional service, resolved my mistake and embarrassment. He made me, a solo traveler in an unfamiliar city on a chilly, rainy day, feel a profound sense of kindness and warmth. His attitude reflects true dedication, and his detailed service shows great commitment. Xiaowang not only possesses excellent professional skills and efficiency but also a rare kindness and genuine desire to help guests, proactively offering thoughtful solutions. He perfectly embodies the warmth of this hotel's service, which goes beyond standard procedures to offer service that is personal and heartfelt. An absolutely amazing stay, highly recommended! 1. This stay truly exceeded my expectations; it was comfortable and hassle-free from start to finish. I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs-up! From booking to check-in, our butler Bonnie handled the entire process, making it smooth and efficient. Her attitude was warm and friendly. The day before arrival, she inquired about our estimated check-in time and needs. She even helped us arrange our three rooms on the same floor, which was super convenient for communicating with friends and family. She also proactively introduced us to local attractions, breakfast times, and facility locations. Her service was meticulous and thoughtful, instantly making us feel very welcome. 2. The room environment was impeccable—clean, simple, and elegant, with warm and comfortable color schemes that created a fantastic ambiance. 3. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, with both Chinese and Western dishes available. The ingredients were fresh, the food was delicious, and it could satisfy different taste preferences. 4. Transportation around the hotel is incredibly convenient. It's close to a business district, making dining and shopping very easy. The location is excellent, so getting around was stress-free. Next time I visit Lanzhou, I will definitely stay at the Hilton again and genuinely recommend it to my friends. It's worth returning to again and again!

Five-star rating for this hotel! ✨ First, I have to praise the front desk staff – they were so friendly and polite during check-in, handled everything quickly, and even gave us some thoughtful tips for our stay. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the entire room was clean and quiet. The location is also excellent, making it easy to get around. Overall, my stay was fantastic and very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town and highly recommend it to everyone!

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

For a short stay in 兰州, you have a great variety of hotels to choose from, with most good ones in the 350 range. At 517 before taxes, this one - on reflection was a little bit expensive for what was offered. Knowing the gym in every single hotel was poor, I chose this one because of its proximity to leke, which is located on 兰州老街, which is a fantastic gym. The hotel lobby is very spacious with a smattering of chairs and sofas, and the usual calming music. The breakfast buffet was limited, though at 88, it is good value. Plus I’m a picky eater and generally don’t enjoy food so you can discount that. The room itself was spacious enough and had enormous windows, and with a bathtub right next to the window, every morning was definitely relaxing. However, the water temperature cannot be controlled, and for my personal taste, wasn’t hot enough. Tea and coffee making facilities were average at best, and only glasses were offered, no porcelain cups. That is however, simply an observation. Finally, I would say that the pillows were too small/soft. If you’re a side sleeper and have wide shoulders, you might need to stack them 3 high. Environment: The hotel lobby and corridors are quiet and elegant, with good lighting, no smell, the public rest area is clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is high-end and relaxing; Hygienic: The rooms are cleaned meticulously, the floor, bathroom, bedding are clean, the corners are dust-free, the toiletries are neatly arranged, and the hygiene standards are very high; Facilities: The supporting facilities are very complete, the zero-pressure mattress sleeps super comfortable, the hot water is stable, free afternoon tea, late night warm heart noodles, parking lot are all available, business travel, self-stay are suitable; Service: All staff strictly standardize etiquette, take the initiative to say hello when entering the door, check in at the front desk is efficient, cleaning, restaurant staff are on call, there is a need to respond immediately, intimate and professional. Next time I come to the local area, I will choose this Meihao!

It's the best place to know the location, but it's a bit difficult for foreigners. I was able to speak a little Chinese for about an hour. Especially because I didn't understand any of the words here. Still, I went to twists and turns. Thank you for checking in early. But the first impression was not very positive. I met a guest who smoked too naturally in the living room. Then the dormitory was too dark to even turn on the light. It's like night and day. But the bed is far away and all the facilities are comfortable. Even a small folding desk ~ admired the boss's sense. But the toilet sink was always full of cigarette ash and smelled of cigarettes. It was shared by men and women, but this part was difficult. The smell of cigarettes is painful for non-smokers. Eventually, it poured into the neck. It's a good place for smokers and people who are very familiar with Chinese. Because non-smokers and toilets are shared, it is not recommended for women.
