"Environment: Coming here for New Year's Day, the environment goes without saying – it's clean, beautiful, and convenient. The location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere. Service: The service was very thoughtful. They communicated my needs and preferences beforehand, arranged a very quiet room, and had pillows and a humidifier ready. There was also plenty of water in the room. The breakfast was rich, with both Chinese and Western options, plus local specialties. The 'egg and fermented rice wine' was delicious, a real thumbs up! I really enjoyed it and will definitely stay here again next time."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly."

"The hotel is a bit out of the city center, a 20-minute drive from the West High-Speed ​​Railway Station. Aside from being close to the Yellow River Tower, there aren't many other attractions. My husband checked in alone, lugging two large suitcases, and there was no bellhop to assist him at the gate after we got off the train. The room was standard, business-style, with only one sink, which was a bit inconvenient. Dinner was in the executive lounge, where the menu was limited and every dish was spicy. The only meat dish was chicken wings, and there was no hot noodle station. Because my child had a slight fever, I asked if we could have a bowl of vegetable noodles. One of the waiters coldly said they only had simple fare, leaving me speechless. Later, a woman named Chen approached to check on the child and offered to cook a bowl of noodles from the buffet restaurant downstairs. This was truly commendable; they finally restored the service and standards expected of an international chain hotel. While we were dining, a hotel promotional video was being filmed nearby."

The breakfast staffs work very hard to accommodate every guest’s needs and requests. The housekeepers work diligently and keep the place clean with well supplied, especially the toilet which is shiny everyday. The front desk girls are friendly, polite and receptive. Lanzhou Xigu Atour Hotel deserves a five-star recommendation] I stayed at Atour for nine days during the Spring Festival. I felt warmed by the service and details of Atour! The hotel has convenient parking, the underground parking lot is spacious and free, and self-driving tours are completely stress-free. The daily breakfast is very sincere, not only with authentic beef noodles and freshly ground coffee, but also with rich Chinese and Western choices, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The room design is simple and warm, the bedding is comfortable and helps sleep, and the sound insulation effect is excellent. It is still quiet and comfortable to stay for many days. The location is super convenient, just an 8-minute walk from the subway station, with shopping malls and restaurants all around. It’s incredibly easy to shop, dine, and explore local cuisine without having to painstakingly plan routes. The hotel lobby is decorated with a simple yet grand style. The staff at the front desk were enthusiastic and professional during check-in, and very efficient. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with beef noodles, desserts, various pastries, and appetizers – all made with fresh ingredients and delicious, catering to different tastes. The room was even more spacious and bright than pictured, spotlessly clean and tidy, with absolutely no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, allowing me to sleep soundly all night long, and all my fatigue instantly disappeared. The facilities are also excellent; the high-speed WiFi had stable signal throughout, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done. Hot water was supplied promptly and at a stable temperature, and the toiletries were complete and of good quality. 🦋🦋 What’s even more commendable are the service details. The cleaning staff were very attentive every day, tidying up items and proactively replenishing toiletries. Check-out was also efficient with no unnecessary complicated procedures. GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very advantageous location, located at the north entrance of Dazhong Lane. Turn left from the gate and go north for a few dozen meters to the Yellow River, and then go west for 200 meters to the Zhongshan Bridge. The Dazhong Lane downstairs from the hotel is a gathering place for delicious food. There are all kinds of Lanzhou delicacies to eat during the day and at night, making dining very convenient. The room facilities are relatively complete and the house is clean and tidy. The bedding on the bed is very comfortable, with two types of pillows: silk cotton pillow and latex pillow, which is convenient for different people to choose. The front desk customer service is very enthusiastic and any problem can be solved immediately by calling. The lobby is equipped with self-service coffee and water dispensers. The room should have been renovated not long ago. It belongs to the latest generation of Hanting configuration, equipped with electric curtains and automatic toilet. The washbasin, toilet and bath are separated into dry and wet areas. Worth recommending.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

I was in a hurry at lunchtime and missed the dining hall, but the hotel thoughtfully packed a meal box and delivered it directly to my room. I expected typical takeout quality, but the dishes were surprisingly delicious, with excellent color, aroma, and taste, completely changing my perception of hotel packed meals. The dinner selection was incredibly rich. The fresh and savory tofu and egg soup, along with the chewy noodles, were particularly to my liking. The breakfast the next day was an even bigger surprise; the authentic beef noodles were full of flavor, and there was even a self-service mala tang station where you could cook your own, which is truly rare for a hotel breakfast – a definite highlight! The hotel's amenities were also a big plus. The sofa was soft and comfortable, and the bed provided an excellent night's sleep. In particular, the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom were very pleasant to use. The above are the commendable aspects of the hotel. Below are what I perceive as shortcomings and issues, with the second point being the most prominent. Based on my actual stay, I would like to offer the following formal suggestions to the hotel general manager: 1. **Regarding optimizing dining session timings:** I previously provided feedback to the front desk about the excessively short lunch and dinner durations. The front desk responded that, due to the hotel offering three meals and for internal workflow coordination, dining times needed to be compressed. Thus, both lunch and dinner are set for one hour (lunch 12:00-13:00, dinner 17:30-18:30). Based on my travel and accommodation experience across more than twenty provinces in China and five continents abroad, there are many four-star and five-star hotels that offer three meals. In such hotels, lunch service typically runs from 11:00-13:30 or 14:00, and dinner service from 18:00-21:00. None of these hotels shorten guests' dining duration simply because three meals are included. The hotel's current dining schedule makes it very difficult for guests who use the hotel as their first stop for a trip and need to visit attractions to return for meals on time after sightseeing, greatly impacting their experience. I suggest the hotel refer to industry standard service practices and consider guests' actual travel needs, either by appropriately extending lunch and dinner service times or by flexibly adjusting them to better meet the diverse needs of different guest segments. 2. **Regarding standardizing meal clearing procedures:** During the self-service dinner, the hotel had issues with non-standardized meal clearing procedures. Firstly, before clearing, there was no advance notification to guests present, nor was there an inquiry about whether they needed a final round of food, which is expected of a four-star hotel. Secondly, with only one minute left until the scheduled clearing time, staff hastily began clearing tables and removing dishes, leading to a somewhat chaotic scene. Thirdly, some service staff were observed directly taking food from the buffet with their bare hands and scrambling for leftover dishes in the serving area. This behavior severely violates the service etiquette standards of a four-star hotel and significantly harms the hotel's brand image. I recommend that the hotel strengthen professional etiquette training for its service staff, clarify the meal clearing procedures and standards, require staff to notify guests in advance before clearing, and only begin clearing systematically after guests have finished their meals. Simultaneously, it is crucial to regulate employee conduct during duty to prevent such incidents from recurring. 3. **Regarding enhancing breakfast food quality control:** The bread and pastry section at breakfast had noticeable issues with taste and texture. The toast was dense and dry, hard as a rock, and other pastries also tended to be dry. This is likely due to ambient temperature and storage methods. GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me order takeaways online and navigate the apps. The were also very quick to respond if there were issues. Only thing I would say is that the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking (that’s what I was told), but on multiple occasions I could smell smoke in the bathroom through the vent (very strong). I made a complaint and they said they spoke to the guest but unfortunately this didn’t stop. Cleanliness could have been better as when I first had the room, the room did smell smoky including the pillows. I had to re-clean the wood in the room myself with towel and soap since it was dusty and had a strong smoke smell so I couldn’t sleep and it gave me a headache. I think the rooms need a deep clean if you are to get rid of smoke smell from the bed, furniture, wood. You have your own aircon which is good so there is not a central system.

The staff were friendly and helpfull, the scenery was spectacular, and the accomodation was very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here ! dinner was available via ordering from a menu to a local restaurant which the staff organised. Wifi was available, and the mobile phone coverage was good also. Excellent walking paths nearby from the hotel.

TTraveling BritFirst of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station. The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space. When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked. Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.

GGuest User*If you are going to Lanzhou …* … this is the hotel to stay especially if you are an independent traveller! Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions. Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist. The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle. We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
