I had excellent experience with this hotel. Its staff is very kind and friendly. One staff member even helped us do the laundry and deliver the dried clothes to our room. I have never seen such service at any other hotels. If I revisit Lanzhou, I would choose this hotel again.

The three most important things when staying in a hotel are: cleanliness, quietness and a good shower. Decoration is just the icing on the cake, these three points must be met.
But the hotel I stayed in was only clean. The soundproofing is so poor that I can hear my neighbors watching TV and talking clearly. Even worse was the toilet problem. I could hear the neighbor flushing his toilet, but the smart toilet in my own room flushed automatically in the middle of the night when no one was using it, like a **. When checking out, I met a lady who was also complaining to the waiter about this, saying that she couldn't sleep all night because of the noise.
Speaking of showering, I've been staying in hotels for more than ten years and travel on business more than ten times a year, and I've never encountered such a bad one. The amount of hot water is very small and the water temperature is not high enough, so I can't wash at all.
Also, the window in my room is still broken and can't be closed. It was a very cold day, and the cold wind kept blowing into the house, making it difficult to sleep at night.
I really wonder why this hotel is rated so highly. I am posting this long review just to tell everyone the real situation. I hope you don’t fall into the trap. The experience is really terrible.

The check-in experience exceeded expectations. From entering the hotel room to checking out, the front desk lady Lili was considerate and meticulous, and the service was very good. The front desk lady took the initiative to help me upgrade the comfortable double bed room I booked to the Fanli double bed room, which was super good. There was no urging for check-out, and I checked out at almost 2 o'clock. The room is clean and comfortable, spacious and bright, and the mattress is very comfortable. I like it. It is relatively cost-effective in Lanzhou Old Street. It is suitable for traveling and staying, which saves money. The geographical location is very superior. You can take a taxi when you go out. It is also very close to the subway station. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. The surrounding food malls are all available. It is super convenient to go out for fun or business travel. Breakfast is eaten at another Puyan Hotel. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western styles, and there is also a very famous local beef noodles. It feels quite good.

Love the room design and grateful for the free treats. The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

Walking into the room of Atour Hotel, I was immediately attracted by its spaciousness and cleanliness. Every detail in the room seemed to be carefully taken care of. I put down my luggage and walked to the window, and an amazing super night view immediately came into view. The lights of the city flickered like a sea of stars, and the Yellow River was downstairs. It was the right choice to choose this hotel. The next day, I was about to pack up and go out, and I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and a smiling staff member stood outside the door. Her name is Kaiyan, and she is the aunt in charge of cleaning the room. She gently asked me if I needed help and asked if I needed to clean up. I said I could clean now. She was skilled and gentle, so I packed up and went out. While tidying up the room, Kaiyan noticed the clothes I soaked in the basin. She took the initiative to help me wash them. She not only washed the clothes cleanly, but also carefully helped me iron them flat. When I came back and saw those neat and new clothes, I couldn't help but feel a warm current in my heart. Kaiyan's service is not only considerate, but also full of care. Her smile and enthusiasm made me feel at home. I spent several wonderful nights in this spacious and tidy room. Whenever night falls, I will sit by the window and enjoy the charming night view. Kaiyan's attentive service adds a touch of warmth and comfort to my journey. It is very close to the client's company, the room is clean and tidy, and the heating is sufficient! The breakfast is very rich, much better than the general chain hotel.
I was too tired at noon, and the front desk Xiao Wang Xiaolu was very warm and let me stay for free until 2:30, which was very useful.
The laundry room is also very convenient and the drying is easy to use.
I will choose this place next time I come

PPeterThis is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators.
Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back.
As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers!
One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best!
Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

GGuest UserI went back to Lanzhou for the Spring Festival and stayed for eight consecutive nights. This was also the hotel I booked after reading reviews before traveling. After checking in, I found it was really good. The front desk was very enthusiastic. I originally booked a double bed room. When I saw that I was with my child, I immediately said that I would change it to a twin bed room. The room was large and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and air conditioning. It was cleaned in time every day. Fruits and coffee were given free of charge during the Spring Festival. The experience in all aspects was in line with the five-star standard. I recommend that you consider staying! In addition, the restaurant of the same name next to the hotel is delicious and the private room environment is comfortable. I ate several meals in a row, and both adults and children liked it very much! The hotel has a superior geographical location. The Tuanjiexincun subway station is 100 meters to the right of the door. The Jinqiang beef noodles next to the subway entrance must be punched in for breakfast every day! It was a perfect experience!

GGuest UserI chose to stay close to the airport so that I can bound a flight easily to diffrent places. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

Facilities: There is a matching gym. You can burn calories after breakfast. It is clean and hygienic, with complete equipment and new maintenance.
Service: The service attitude is very good, and the girl at the front desk is very enthusiastic.
When you come to Lanzhou, you must stay in a four-star hotel, which is a suite brand under InterContinental. It is trustworthy.
There is also a very popular chain brand Zhu Guangyu Hot Pot Restaurant next to the front desk on the fifth floor. Haha, you can have a good meal at night. It's great. I will stay there next time.

GGuest UserAmazing experience. The staff is really helpful and they gave me good tips what to do and eat in Lanzhou. They also spoke English which is always appreciated in China. They helped me to deliver a package without questions. It is close to a metro station and west railway station. Really good restaurants just around the corner. The common areas are really nice. Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
