The room size is OK, but the breakfast is closed too early. The hygiene is OK. The facilities are quite old. Free parking is available in front of the door. The service is average, especially the waiter, who knocked on the door twice and walked in directly, which scared me so much that I almost had a heart attack. Strict requirements and training should be implemented in the future. It is a five-star hotel, but it does not meet the five-star standard.

Crowne Plaza is a big name, but why hasn't it improved? The room hygiene details are not in place, and the facilities are in poor condition. For example, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the scale is just for decoration without electricity. There is no place to put the hand towels and face towels. Do they have to be piled on the countertop? The toilet is not smart, but can there be a place to put the phone? Can the service be more careful? Is the efficiency good? Are there no shortage of customers?

It seems that the hotel is relatively new, and the internal facilities are very new and comfortable; the breakfast is rich, with many varieties, and the food is very good. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, the sightline is good, there are many food shops, and there are good choices. The experience is OK, it is very convenient to travel at the entrance of the subway station, there is a food street next to it, the elevator goes directly to the 11th floor, cleaned, the facilities are complete and normal, and the service is good. But the injury at this price is sound insulation, the door cracks and partition walls are very clear, snoring and **, the woman is very sad, the man is not good haha. It is recommended to add shampoo in time, often ventilate or place sterilization and ventilation things, clean up late, look forward to the next stay.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The First Hospital of Lanzhou University and the Provincial People's Hospital are within a ten-minute walk! You can also walk directly to the Eastern Wholesale Market and Wangfujing Department Store. The hotel service is very good and the hotel is clean and tidy. It is very convenient to eat and buy fruits downstairs! I will choose to stay here next time! The important thing is that the special king bed room is not small in size and has windows! PPeterThis is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators.
Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back.
As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers!
One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best!
Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

Breakfast and laundry is a trudge to its sister hotel through an open corridor that channels and accelerate the wind. Think cold winter morning and night.

They are not very knowledgeable about local information.
They request repeatedly for direct booking for subsequent night stays BUT they will only match the best price you can find online. What about my loyalty points and promo coupons?
They also pester for perfect reviews and ratings. But they will only give generic responses, albeit politely. Very system generated barely matching current AI tech.

GGuest UserI chose to stay close to the airport so that I can bound a flight easily to diffrent places. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
