The service was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay very comfortable.
The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very cozy, giving us great peace of mind.
The hotel’s strategic location made it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety, fresh food, and pleasant presentation.
Overall, it was a relaxing and satisfying stay, and we would definitely recommend Babymoon Hotel to others.

The room was quite spacious, perfect for our family of three, and it had plenty of chairs. The hotel's Pu-erh tea was delicious, and breakfast was decent. The chef was very enthusiastic and even recommended some flower pastries, which was a nice touch! 👍
However, I felt the service was lacking in a few areas:
1. The front desk called beforehand to ask if we needed the bed prepared, which they did. They also asked if I wanted a children's bed, and I said yes, but upon arrival, both were adult-sized.
2. Even though it's the off-season for tourism, our room hadn't been cleaned by 2 or 3 PM. We decided to just skip the cleaning, but when we ran out of water and tissues and asked the front desk to send some up, they refused and told us to come down and get them ourselves. I've stayed in hotels all over the country, and this is the first time I've encountered a room not being cleaned by the afternoon.
3. The biggest drawback is the strong smell of new renovations. You can smell it as soon as you enter the elevator.

ZZzsfzhizaisifangHuanjian Yue Hotel in Kunming is one of the best value-for-money hotels I've stayed in. It's right next to Daguan Park, and the surrounding area is quite peaceful. I believe both the hardware and software aspects of this hotel are top-notch. The service is truly thoughtful and meticulous; during afternoon tea, I was in a hurry to leave, and the front desk attendant specially went to the restaurant to get me a takeout box and helped me with my express delivery. Such services were simply perfect. The breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed the coffee, tea ceremony, wellness singing bowl healing, and yoga. The hotel's design style is elegant, and the bedding, toiletries, and shower facilities are exquisite and comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Kunming.

MM531101****Choosing this hotel for our trip to Kunming was a fantastic decision; Jun'an truly exceeded our expectations! As a newly opened hotel in 2024, the facilities are brand new. The light luxury decor is simple yet elegant, and the room was sparkling clean. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the peaceful environment quickly washed away all our travel fatigue. The front desk service was excellent—responsive, quick to resolve issues, and very service-oriented. The location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 7-minute walk to Lian Da Jie subway station, and Kunming South Railway Station is only 3.8 km away, making transportation incredibly convenient. Plus, the hotel can arrange a special car to take you to the station, which makes getting around a breeze.
The surrounding area is also great. There's a huge supermarket downstairs, and right next to it, a local market where you can experience authentic local life. The fruit there is very fresh, economical, and affordable. Such a worthwhile stay! [Yay]

MM286302****This time, my stay at the Mercure Hotel Kunming Changshui International Airport was a friend's recommendation. I had already booked a nearby hotel, but my friend's persistent recommendations convinced me to cancel that booking and reserve the Mercure on Ctrip instead. I decided to give it a try for one night, and here are my thoughts:
1. **Hotel Hardware is Excellent:** The Simmons bed was incredibly comfortable, and having four down pillows (two thick, two thin) was a thoughtful touch! It caters to different guest preferences. It felt a bit wasteful having such a large bed all to myself on a business trip, haha! Thumbs up! 👍
2. **Breakfast is Superb:** The breakfast spread was very rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, perfectly satisfying the needs of both local and international guests. The Yunnan rice noodles were especially authentic and flavorful! Plus, the breakfast hours are quite long, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, accommodating both early flight passengers and those who prefer to sleep in. Thumbs up! 👍
3. **A Few Minor Gripes:** Of course, after all the praise, I do have a few small complaints:
1. The path between the lobby and the elevators involves several turns; I almost got lost twice! I suggest the hotel be more user-friendly and place clear signs in the corridors leading to the elevators so guests can easily find their way.
2. The up and down buttons for the elevator are oddly placed in a tiny crevice on a decorative wall panel. You can't even find the buttons from a distance! I actually thought it was an infrared remote control! I'd ask the hotel, wouldn't it be better to have the buttons visible on the wall so people can find them right away?
3. For such a good hotel, the surrounding amenities aren't great. There are no dining options or places to buy local specialties nearby. After arriving at the hotel in the evening, I had to walk to a hotpot restaurant next to another nearby hotel.
4. While there is a shuttle service, the fixed departure times feel a bit inconvenient. Moreover, it's like a public bus, picking up guests from several locations. If you encounter a slow or indecisive guest, it can delay others from catching their flights. A direct shuttle service would be much more ideal!

MM362459****This stay at Atour X Hotel was a pleasant surprise; they offered a purple grape welcome gift and a hand soap. The location was very convenient, and the breakfast selection was extensive. We accidentally under-ordered breakfast by one portion, but the front desk attendant kindly brought us an extra, so I'm really happy with the overall experience. I'll definitely choose them again next time I visit!

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

The rooms are large and clean, free water, coffee, tea. Breakfast said to be included but I did not see any, perhaps too early.
Slept well had good shower and was in the airline lounge within an hour from waking up.
