Excellent! The hotel is newly renovated with no unpleasant smells, and everything is very clean. I love the style, and the bathroom is large with a well-designed wet and dry separation. They have many family rooms with large beds; I especially appreciate that their twin rooms come with both 1.5-meter and 1.8-meter beds. This is perfect for families of three or four. This time, three families traveled together, and we easily booked several rooms, so we didn't have to stay in separate hotels. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. If I'm ever in Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here. One suggestion: for summer, please provide thinner summer quilts. I really don't like using thick duvets with the air conditioning on when it's hot. Also, the hotel provides a Laifen hairdryer, which ladies will surely appreciate – it's powerful and quiet. I rarely review hotels I book online, but I always make an exception for exceptionally bad or exceptionally good ones. Hope this helps everyone!

As a branded hotel, it's a decent, no-frills option for leisure or business stays, but it still falls short when compared to Atour. Given that it positions itself as an extended-stay apartment hotel, while the room size is good, the facilities and amenities are quite disappointing. For an extended-stay apartment hotel, the main needs are cooking and laundry. For stays of 1-3 months, the absence of an induction hob, a double-door refrigerator, and a separate washing machine is simply unimaginable. In Shanghai or Beijing, a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-kitchen, one-bathroom serviced apartment only costs around 15,000-20,000 RMB per month. Kunming's market capacity for this type of accommodation is only going to grow.

The hotel is quite new, but free of formaldehyde and smoke odors. The facilities are fully equipped, including disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and toilet seat covers. It was also very quiet, and I slept well at night. They offer a free airport shuttle service, and for only 150 RMB a night, the conditions are truly a great value for money. If I need a place to stay near Kunming Airport again next time, I will definitely choose this hotel. The only suggestions I have for improvement would be to add a bedside cabinet with power outlets between the two beds, and to have the bedside lamps operate independently without turning on the other lights simultaneously. Overall, it offers exceptionally high value for money and is highly recommended 👍

Still very satisfied after multiple stays. The front desk staff are flexible and professional in handling requests, and the free shuttle service is very convenient. Located behind a residential area, it's very quiet. The breakfast quality is consistently good and delicious. Kunming's cool climate is very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided snacks for the children and their special lucky draw always brings joy to the kids.

Location was pretty near malls and plenty of bubble teas. Hotel staffs were very accommodative & assisted us (foreigners) friendly and politely. Assisted to help in airport pick up and transfer. Despite our language barrier, we were able to use g**gle translator and all communications were done via WeChat. Thank you for helping us! We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Room was spacious. But toilet and bathrooms are separated. There is no toilet bidet (if anyone is concerned). Otherwise, laundry room and ironing are available. Hairdryer too. Hot water for shower is also available. Choosing to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Kunming Train Station was an excellent decision – my overall experience was fantastic! The location is superb, offering convenient transportation. The environment is clean and elegant, and the check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was warm and attentive. The 26th-floor lobby provides complimentary refreshments, and the hotel's self-service laundry and gym facilities are incredibly convenient. The Peter Thomas Roth toiletries in the room really helped wash away the day's fatigue, and the mattress was so soft that I was guaranteed a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread was also very rich and hygienic. Overall, everything was great, and it offered excellent value for money! You can't go wrong choosing this hotel for business trips or leisure travel!

This is a really great hotel. Both the room facilities and the hotel amenities are excellent, and the breakfast is good too. The pool is very clean and beautiful. I participated in both the yoga and meditation classes, and I highly recommend them. It was a perfect start to my trip. Yuyuan Garden is right across the street. I suggest going for a walk there in the morning before the tourists arrive; it's very peaceful. Given all the services the hotel offers, the price offers incredibly good value for money. The only thing that needs improvement is the complimentary afternoon tea; it didn't come with any tea or coffee, just a plate of fruits and pastries that seemed like they belonged to breakfast. That was a bit disappointing.

Full marks to Sheraton! My stay this time was outstanding. Special thanks to Daniel, Kiki, Yin, and all the staff working on Oct 2nd and 3rd. Everyone went above and beyond, coordinating across multiple departments to provide thoughtful and attentive service. When we arrived by car, the staff carefully guided us to parking, and the bellmen proactively helped with our luggage and even provided complimentary breakfast of excellent quality. Responses were prompt throughout our stay, and issues were handled reliably and professionally. Every aspect was perfectly taken care of. The room environment was comfortable, and the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I've been to Kunming many times and have stayed at many hotels near Kunming Airport. This was my first time driving here and also my first time choosing Mercure. First off, the service attitude, whether from the front desk or the housekeeping staff, was quite good. The front desk even came over to change my room when they saw my request to be away from the elevator, which was very considerate. They also provided a breakfast box for my early morning airport transfer. The room wasn't big but it was very well-appointed. The air conditioning was very cool, and the minibar was well-stocked. The parking lot looked large, but parking spaces were actually quite tight. The hotel is close to the airport, less than a 10-minute drive. Some airplane noise from takeoffs and landings is normal and manageable. However, I wonder if the noise from the room's own air conditioning could be addressed? Many parts of the showerhead in the bathroom were loose. I'm not sure if the housekeeping supervisor thoroughly checks the rooms. It took a long time for hot water to come through in both the shower and the sink. I hope this can be improved. The walk from the front desk to the elevator was quite convoluted and hard to find for first-time guests. Plus, the hallway was very stuffy and hot.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!
