"Excellent hotel, especially if you need a convenient place to stay near the airport. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, and you can contact them to arrange it. Since I didn’t have any luggage, I decided to walk from the airport instead, and it took me no more than 15 minutes at a relaxed pace. The hotel is quiet, clean, and has everything you need for a short stay. The rooms and renovation are fairly simple, but for the price, I think the value for money is excellent. I was also pleasantly surprised that check-out was allowed until 2 PM, which is quite unusual and very convenient. Breakfast is included, although there are very few Western options, almost none. That wasn’t a big issue for me, as there are places nearby where you can walk for breakfast, and taxis are also very inexpensive. The airport transfer worked perfectly and was right on time. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you have a layover, an early flight, or simply want to rest near the airport before continuing your journey. Very convenient and great value for money."

The toiletries are Byredo and include lotion (there's a store on the first basement floor of MixC). I remember them being La Bottega previously? The hotel boasts a gym, outdoor pool, Nanyang-themed craft activities, photo spots, a lobby bar, happy hour, and more – quite a rich selection of amenities. MixC is right next door, perfect for shopping, catching a movie, or letting the kids burn off some energy, making it a great option for a staycation. If your budget allows, I’d generally recommend it. 【Service】The service remains excellent overall. 1. The front desk staff was very kind and upgraded us to a higher floor room with a better view. 2. Whether it was the front desk, lobby bar, lounge, 101 restaurant, gym (24-hour access with room card), or the pool (perfect temperature, though it's outdoors)… everyone we encountered was incredibly observant – they’d press the elevator for you in advance, offer directions, or ask if you needed help if you had a lot of things in your hands. It’s impressive that the entire team maintained this quality during the busy summer period. 3. What surprised me most was that when I booked, the Nanyang craft class was fully booked. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff provided us with the materials so we could do it ourselves in the room, even though we couldn't do it on-site. Their problem-solving attitude and approach really impressed me. 4. They promptly refilled items that ran out at breakfast, which was a vast improvement compared to some previous experiences where things felt a bit stingy. 【Ambiance】1. It's very photogenic and well-designed; you could spend a long time taking photos without even leaving the hotel. So, individuality and unique design are quite important. 2. Once the curtains in the room are drawn, it gets perfectly dark, which is great for sleeping. 【Dining】1. Perhaps due to cost control, the items in the room's minibar have changed (it used to have Basao tea, was that a limited-time offering?). The offerings at the lobby bar and happy hour have also become fewer and simpler, but the quality is still decent… 2. The breakfast at 101 restaurant felt less appealing than before… The Shacha noodle soup base tasted like laksa, and the noodle texture was off. What was clearly mini wontons was called 'bianshi', and the peanut soup only had the raw ingredients but the taste and texture weren't quite right. The mianxian糊 (vermicelli paste) texture was also off, which made me not even want to try the salty rice. And while the oyster omelet and 'manjian gao' (pancakes) tasted okay, they weren't actually what they were supposed to be… (Fortunately, there are alternatives like Shacha noodle shops, snack bars, and street food stalls nearby)… If I hadn't eaten out before, these 'specialty snacks' at breakfast would have been very misleading… 3. To be fair, the Western-style offerings were all good – bread, desserts, etc. 4. There were small bugs in the restaurant; I encountered one right after sitting down, and then another flew into my mini wontons when I went to get them later… 【Other】1. I hope the breakfast specialty snacks can be improved. 2. I wish the dishes and their names would match (some dish names on the labels lagged behind after changes. It felt a bit awkward seeing someone holding 'curry puffs' and telling their child it was 'wuxiang' (five-spice fritters); the chicken popcorn at happy hour was labeled as something else, though it was corrected later). 3. My friend arrived at breakfast first, and I joined later. I was questioned a bit upon entry, and then followed to my friend’s table before they left, which made me feel untrusted… Had someone tried to sneak in for free breakfast before? 4. On Ctrip, a 5 is 'exceeded expectations,' 4.5 is 'satisfied,' and 4 is 'quite satisfied.' I feel that anything 4.25 or above is pretty good… Unfortunately, everyone is so competitive these days, and I understand the difficulties faced by those in the industry. I gave a score I thought was quite good before, only to find out it caused trouble for others… Now, if there are no major issues, I just give a supportive 5 stars…"

"Choosing this Greentree Eastern Hotel for my Xiamen trip was such a great decision! The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Stepping out, you're surrounded by various snack shops, and it's super convenient for exploring China City. It's also not far from the subway station, making it easy to get to all the tourist attractions. The hotel is a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, there's plenty of hot water, and the Wi-Fi is stable. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in/check-out is quick. They also offer free luggage storage, and any requests are handled promptly. There's a self-service laundry room, which is really convenient for travelers who need to wash clothes. The overall environment is quiet, and the value for money is excellent. It's perfect whether you're traveling with friends or on a short trip. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Xiamen, and I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Xiamen!"

"I chose this hotel after reading the reviews, and I must say, it truly exceeded my expectations! The room was very thoughtfully designed and worth staying in. Its location is indeed excellent, just behind the Industrial and Commercial Bank, allowing taxis to pull up directly for super convenient access. You can hail a taxi upstairs and get picked up right downstairs. Zhongshan Road is right downstairs, a mere walk away. It's incredibly clean and quiet, which I particularly want to commend. The door is very thick and sturdy, and given its proximity to the Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, such a substantial door is essential to maintain its quietness – truly impressive. We stayed in a family room, and right outside the door, there's a children's play area no smaller than 40 square meters, with nice plants too. It's very beautiful, though I didn't take any photos. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. Uh, some of the family rooms connecting to the children's play area don't have latches on the doors, so you'll need to keep an eye on your kids going in and out. The service attitude was also excellent. Finally, I'd say it's not as rigid as a chain hotel, nor as simple as a guesthouse; it feels more like a hotel where the owner has poured their heart and soul into it."

"Over the past few years, I've mostly opted for business hotels, so it's been a while since I stayed at an established five-star. Coincidentally, I've been reading up on hotel management lately, and my friend and I were meeting near SM in Xiamen, so I booked the Sheraton. The service, as expected from a long-standing brand, was consistently reliable. My stay happened to coincide with the hotel's 20th anniversary, so it was quite busy. We checked in around 1 PM, and the room would be ready in about 40 minutes, but everything was handled very efficiently. After checking in, the front desk expedited the room cleaning, so we went up to the 7th floor to swim in the meantime. The pool was very clean, and all the other sports facilities were well-equipped. Our room was on the 22nd floor with a great view of Egret Park's lake. It was very quiet for sleeping, and any service requests were promptly attended to. I particularly loved the scent of the hotel's toiletries. On the downside, the pillows weren't very comfortable, and I recall five-star hotels used to provide welcome fruit, which wasn't available this time. Not sure if it's a cost-saving measure, haha."

"First, four points that deserve high praise: 1. **Excellent Service:** Staff were always on hand at the hotel lobby entrance to help with car doors and luggage when getting in or out. 2. **Spacious Design:** The hotel lobby has a grand, high-ceiling design, and the rooms are sufficiently spacious. 3. **Well-Equipped Gym:** The gym is large and has a wide variety of equipment. 4. **Varied Breakfast:** The breakfast selection is extensive. And three points that need improvement: 1. **Unpleasant Odor:** The hallway on the 16th floor, as well as my room, had a strange smell like a laundry room and drainage pipes. The indoor ventilation was poor. 2. **Insufficient Delivery Robots:** There weren't enough delivery robots, so most food deliveries had to be left in a locker in the hotel parking lot, requiring guests to go down and pick them up themselves. 3. **Limited Power Outlets:** The double room only had one power outlet by the bed, which isn't very convenient for guests staying in this room type."

"Choosing this hotel for an early morning flight was incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle service was well-arranged, so I didn't have to worry about finding a taxi. "The location is right on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, very close to the pier, so transportation is super convenient. Our room had a sea view. We stayed for two nights; the first night's room was a bit small, but on the second night, we switched to a king-size room which was much more spacious. It had an 1.8-meter king bed and a 1.5-meter sofa bed. The service was very warm and attentive. However, the breakfast included with our first night's booking felt really not worth it – it was just a Pizza Hut set meal, and honestly, it wasn't very good. It would have been better to just eat out on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street."
