The facilities were complete and the room was comfortable, definitely deserving a five-star rating. The only thing was that the bathroom was made of glass, but it was acceptable.

Really enjoyed our stay — comfortable room, excellent service, great location. No complaints about the hotel itself.
However, during our stay housekeeping changed the bed linen and accidentally (or not) took along a pair of socks that were tucked under the blanket. The socks were a limited edition Hello Kitty 50th anniversary pair — not something that looks expensive at a glance, but collectible and irreplaceable. A small Watsons tote bag also went missing around the same time — no monetary value, but we wanted to keep it as a souvenir from our trip.
We reported both items at the front desk. Nothing was found.
Maybe it was a mistake, but we think future guests should know: don't leave anything in the room that you'd be upset to lose, even if it looks ordinary.

AAzheStaying at Manlen in Beijing was such a delightful surprise! It's nestled within the contemporary MOMA complex, boasting unique architecture and a peaceful environment – truly an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views. The constant temperature, humidity, and oxygen system made for an incredibly comfortable stay. The blend of traditional Chinese furniture with modern design felt both sophisticated and inviting. The 24-hour butler service was incredibly attentive and thorough. The hotel's restaurant, ”Manlen's Four Seasons,” served delicious food, and the Peking duck is an absolute must-try. Plus, the amenities like the sky pool, gym, book bar, and cinema provide a complete, one-stop experience. With its artistic flair and high quality, it's perfect for both business trips and vacations!

GGuest UserWe stayed here during the May Day holiday, and it was quite busy. There was a minor hiccup initially: I had requested a room with a good view when booking, but upon arrival, the designated 13th-floor room with a view wasn't ready. They offered a 11th-floor room with a fire door instead. The front desk staff was very accommodating, saying I could change rooms anytime if I wasn't satisfied. The 11th-floor room did offer a view of the CCTV Tower, but having an internal door made me feel a bit uneasy, so I asked to switch again. They then arranged a quiet room on the 19th floor. The staff throughout this process were incredibly friendly, and their service was prompt and excellent. The room itself was simply decorated but had great facilities, and the water pressure was strong. Even with the May Day crowds, food deliveries were quite timely. The only downside was the exorbitant parking fee. It's 10 yuan an hour for underground parking with no cap. After one night, my parking bill came to 225 yuan. Compared to the room rate of over a thousand, the parking fee was quite painful. Those who need parking should be prepared!

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

ZZhongtoubuzhongFor our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children.
The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄
The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays.

GGuest UserPrime location, and the hotel is truly luxurious with excellent facilities. Even though it's an older property, it's very well-maintained. The cleanliness is top-notch, though the hairdryer felt a bit old and could use an upgrade. I used to always stay at the Regent across the street, but next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this hotel again – the bed is much softer and more comfortable than at the Regent.

Due to the hotel's layout, it felt surprisingly quiet even though it's in a lively residential area. The blackout curtains were fantastic; I slept incredibly well both nights. GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
