"Really adorable setup! The hotel is located close by the South rail station, but it is kind of in this hidden alleyway behind a residential neighborhood. The hotel room itself was very clean, beds are soft, and the staff was very kind (they even gave both our rooms an upgrade!). The design of the hotel is also super vintage and cute!! They also have a complimentary breakfast which is convenient, and there are also a lot of restaurants near by. However, the showers were a bit strange. There was a curtain, but no floor barrier blocking the shower water from the rest of the bathroom. The entire bathroom becomes flooded whenever you shower (though it does drain eventually)."

"Since my flight arrived late in Beijing that day and I had a connecting flight the next day, I found this hotel online because it's very close to Terminal 3 and offers airport shuttle service. The reviews were excellent, so I booked it. As soon as I collected my luggage after landing, I called the hotel, and their shuttle arrived at the designated spot in less than 10 minutes. From getting on the shuttle to checking into the hotel, both the driver and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They assisted with my luggage all the way to my room. The hotel even upgraded my room and provided complimentary fruit, drinks, and bottled water. All in all, my stay in Beijing was extremely satisfying."

"The hotel was honestly incredible, you're well looked after here, everyone is helpful especially Luna. Greeted with tea and daily dinner snacks, unlimited fruit water and drinks available at all times.
The location is great, had multiple metro stations nearby and the rooms are pretty and very clean.

QQinlaoaimilaThis hotel is perfect for families with kids! It boasts a comprehensive range of clean facilities for entertainment, including a playground, hot springs, swimming pool, gym, yoga, and hiking. The dining and other services are also excellent. What really stood out was the hotel's twin room setup: the housekeeper proactively placed a connecting bench between the beds to prevent children from falling off. Having stayed at numerous family-friendly hotels both domestically and internationally, this is the first time I've encountered such thoughtful and proactive service. It perfectly addresses the common concern for families with two children – the dilemma of a king bed being a bit cramped versus twin beds and the fear of falls. This aspect is truly commendable.
Behind the hotel, there's a hiking trail that, upon reaching the summit, offers breathtaking views of Miyun's stunning mountains. The artificial trail markers and landscaping along the way are tastefully designed with ancient, subdued colors, avoiding overly cutesy or sentimental decorations, which was also a pleasant surprise. Our butler, Bella, provided attentive care throughout our stay. My children have already declared this a hotel they'd love to visit again!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the food street and Sun and Moon Square, and also not far from the Great Wall ticket office. They offer complimentary double tickets to Gubei Water Town Scenic Area, a double hot spring experience voucher, and a choice of two half-journey boat tickets, a double afternoon tea at Qingye Water Bar, a double hot pot tea experience at Yudao, or a double afternoon tea at Yuantong Pagoda (choose one from four). We opted for the boat ride, which didn't require advance booking. During the Qingming holiday, the Sima's Terrace cable car tickets were not included. We chose the night session after 5:30 PM, which cost 120 per person for hotel guests. There was no drone show that night, so it didn't feel like great value.

GGuest UserThis might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

They even provide a fruit platter. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's fish head and broccoli are both fantastic, and there's a 12% discount too!

MM56405****Absolutely fantastic! The two kids played in the room until midnight without any need for adult supervision. The moms just chatted and drank the whole time – it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is super close to the ancient town, only a five-minute walk. There are supermarkets downstairs and restaurants right outside the door, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is really nice and was quick to resolve any issues we had. Remember to bring some sausages when you go; there are lots of little cats downstairs waiting for you to feed them!

TtanmaozaiThis was my second visit to Yanqi Lake, and I came to Yanqi Island specifically for its lush greenery. The hotel's concept is excellent, with 80% of the island covered in vegetation, making for truly picturesque scenery. The hotel facilities are also good; even the washbasins are Villeroy & Boch. The food at Guanlan Xuan was delicious, even a simple bowl of tomato noodle soup was fantastic.
However, the hotel's cleanliness was just average, and the room wasn't very clean. The worst part was the hotel's service level. At the breakfast noodle station, there was no queuing system, and noodles I ordered were taken by someone else, leading to complete disorder. During meals, cleaning staff constantly approached us, asking if they could clear our plates. And then there's the concierge. They wanted to charge 100 RMB per person for an electric cart tour around the island, and initially even told me my child would be charged! Thankfully, someone who seemed like a supervisor nearby intervened and said young children wouldn't be charged. When we went to visit the APEC conference center and Yanqi Pagoda, the security guard downstairs at Yanqi Pagoda, Xiaolong Yo, provided terrible service. The elevator in the pagoda couldn't accommodate so many people, and coincidentally, my child was a bit fussy, so we played downstairs for a while. When we tried to take the elevator again, they told us we weren't allowed up! They even blamed the concierge guide! For a hotel that caters to government receptions, if this is their service standard, it definitely needs improvement. They should hire a manager from a big chain like Marriott to thoroughly streamline their processes.

When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a hutong, very close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station – less than a 4-minute walk away. It's also near popular attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. After visiting Jingshan Park, I encountered traffic restrictions, making taxis and buses inconvenient. I ended up cycling back to the hotel on a shared bike, which only took fifteen minutes. Cycling through the surrounding hutongs offers a unique charm. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clean, and the bedding is spotless. Crucially, facing the hutong means it's incredibly quiet, which is perfect for someone sensitive to noise like me. Plus, the hotel rooms have windows that can be opened for ventilation, which is a major plus. Many hotels in Beijing have sealed windows and rely on heating, making the air feel stuffy and stagnant. There are also many local eateries around the hotel, making it very convenient. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.

GGuest UserMy friend and I stayed here for one night, and this was my second time returning to this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a stunning view of the city. The breakfast was wonderful and varied - something for every taste.
The location is superb. It's just two metro stops to the Temple of Heaven, or you can walk there in about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The same distance (around 30 minutes on foot) also takes you to Qianmen Street. Very convenient.
The only small issue was the air conditioning. The temperature in the room felt well above 25°C, and we couldn't get it to cool down properly. That said, it might have been our fault, perhaps, we just didn't understand how the system works.
Overall, I came back because I had a good experience before, and aside from the AC question mark, this stay was just as comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserBoth the elderly and children are satisfied. There is a lot for the children to play. The swimming pool and handicraft classes are also free. Parking is very convenient and free. There is only a buffet in the evening. The staff said they were too busy to order a la carte. This is very bad. We went out to eat. dinner. Breakfast was average but not enough.
