MMeiyoushengjiangEnvironment: Relaxing on the weekend, there was only one room with mountain view left. I didn't have much hope, but when I arrived at the B&B and it had just rained, the mountain view was very beautiful, surrounded by clouds and mist. The design style of the entire B&B is Japanese style, especially like an izakaya, very stylish. I must try the private bath room next time. Facilities: The B&B has a grill, you can eat barbecue, the bathrobe is from Marriott Hotel, and the configuration of the hair dryer is also good. Service: The two housekeepers provided very good service. They could pick us up at the bottom of the B&B and helped find a parking space. I needed to go to the hospital at around 11 o'clock in the evening, and the two housekeepers drove to accompany me to the hospital. They stayed with us until three in the morning. Thank you very much, and I am really embarrassed to let the housekeeper work overtime for so long.

EE1676****This was my second stay, and it was just as excellent as the first. Our butler, Tracy Zhang Xi, was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful service. We initially had a different room than what we booked, but she promptly arranged a satisfactory change for us. She even helped us find an Ethernet cable and an HDMI cable, which was a huge plus. The hot springs at Haiwan Banshan are built into the mountainside, and the beautiful scenery is a definite advantage. There are over 10 different types of pools, each with a great view. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for extreme privacy, luxury, or a dedicated water play area for children. The kids' play area at Haiwan Banshan is quite large. Among 5-star hotels in Beijing with hot springs, only Club Med, Badaling Jinyu, and Xishan Hot Spring Blue Parrot probably offer bigger and more entertaining options. The suite was spacious, and the facilities were undeniably 5-star quality when compared to similar hotels. The only downside was the slightly higher price during holiday periods. The Ethernet port on the desk was fake; to get a wired connection, you had to use the port behind the bedroom TV, which was about 5 meters away. The butler could only find a 2-meter cable, which was a bit inconvenient for guests who need to work during their stay. I didn't get to try the Bian stone sweat steaming at the wellness center as too many people had booked it. The indoor air dome sports field is also very large, offering basketball, badminton, and table tennis, all of which require reservations. There's also a small outdoor ice rink where you can ice skate or play on ice sleds.

MM51370****The entire courtyard is superbly designed, and you can see the owner's thoughtful touches in every detail. The room design is very industrial, which is quite unique, and the service was good too. The only minor drawback is that the power outlets in the room were a bit inconveniently placed. We happened to be there for Christmas, and the gingerbread house and the Christmas tree in the backyard were absolutely adorable. The nail tech was also super cute and lovely. The restaurant also gets high marks: the breakfast is a refined blend of Chinese and Western options, small but excellent; I've eaten at the Western restaurant twice now, and every dish has been outstanding (the cream of mushroom soup bowl was even warmed; I recommend the foie gras salad and the chestnut cake). Overall, I'd give it a 4.8 out of 5!

TTAN TECK HUAStaying at the Gubei Light Hotel was truly excellent value for money. The all-in-one package made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable! The package included tickets to Gubei Water Town, the Great Wall, and the cable car, plus a hot spring experience. It saved us so much hassle and time from having to plan and buy tickets separately. We just packed our bags and started exploring! I have to specially commend the hotel's breakfast – the selection was incredibly rich, with Chinese dim sum, Western dishes, and fresh fruits and vegetables all available. The presentation was exquisite, and the quality was top-notch, giving it a very premium feel. Every morning, we ate to our heart's content. The rooms were generally clean, comfortable, and spacious, making for a very pleasant stay. However, there's one small drawback I should mention: there's quite a difference in room views. Among the several rooms our group booked, only two had decent exterior views, while the others faced inwards with rather ordinary scenery. Aside from the minor issue with the views, the hotel offers great value for money. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, it's an excellent choice for accommodation in Gubei Water Town. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

__WeChat52564****Because of my child's competition, I didn't want to commute back and forth to the city. I wanted my child to get an early night's sleep and have breakfast available. The hotel is very large, but the management isn't up to par, especially the dining. The facilities are good, and the hygiene is fine, but the food just isn't good. You can't even buy good food with money! This is quite thoughtless for kids who are here for competitions. We might come back here again, and I hope there will be improvements. Thank you. Oh, and the hot springs were pretty good; the water was clean, and it felt comfortable after a soak. The service was warm and attentive. Haha, in a nutshell, improve the dining, and I'd give it a five-star review! 😇

MM47222****Our stay at Longxi Vienus International Convention Center was fantastic. The room was impeccably clean. We were also treated to a complimentary fruit plate. The kids especially adored the large balcony, which offered expansive views of the pool and lush greenery. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options that the kids absolutely loved. We'd like to specifically commend Ms. Gan Jingxuan for her incredibly thoughtful service. We also spent a significant amount of time enjoying the Longxi Hot Spring Water World. The water was pristine, the service was great, and there was an impressive array of hot spring pools to choose from. The children had a blast, especially with the bubble machine experience. Manager Wang Fang also deserves a special shout-out for her exceptionally attentive service. We definitely plan to return!

MM303531****This hotel is great for a weekend getaway with kids. Juyongguan Great Wall and Shuiguan Great Wall are nearby, with Shuiguan Great Wall being closer and less crowded, though a bit challenging to climb. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pleasant environment with individual villas dotted up the hillside. Our room was quite far, so we needed to drive to the lobby and restaurant. The hotel also offers many family-friendly activities. On our second morning, we participated in a valley hike, which was essentially a mountain climb – it requires some stamina. There were also quite a few downsides. Given how spread out the rooms are and how far they are from the lobby, one would expect butler service, but there was none. Moreover, it was very difficult to get through to the front desk from the room phone. For a self-proclaimed 'family-friendly hotel,' there weren't even children's slippers in the room. After finally getting through on the phone, it took an hour for them to be delivered. Why weren't they provided directly at check-in when they saw we had a child? The room itself was fairly large, but the bathroom lacked air conditioning/heating, and the shower was open-concept. This design might be fine in Sanya, but in Yanqing, showering at night was absolutely freezing. There was also water pooling, and when staff came to check, they said it was because the floor drain was too high, and nothing could be done, which was a bit frustrating. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was good, albeit a bit pricey. We also ate at a farmhouse restaurant down the mountain where the iron pot stewed fish was delicious – I forgot its name, but it had “Tell Old Mo I want to eat fish” written on the wall. Despite the downsides, it's still a good place for a weekend with kids. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a children's splash pool, which were closed due to the cold weather. We'll definitely bring the kids back in the summer.

AAnonymous UserCame here to play with ice and snow, but the ice park was closed, but the snow park was. Came here with children and the elderly, and booked a suite and standard room in the VIP building. The VIP building is newly renovated, the environment is very good, the lobby is large and grand, but there are relatively few guests, even on weekends. You have to drive to another building to eat and soak in the hot springs, which is a bit far to walk, and the snow park is closer to the dining place. It is worth praising that the staff of the snow park have a good attitude, a good experience, and everyone is very enthusiastic. It is worth complaining about the toilet in the snow park, which is a simple one, cold and unclean. There is only one, and you have to queue. It would be better if the snow park opened a few cafes with better environment. There is a small beverage shop with a very bad environment, which is very crowded. The elderly were sitting inside waiting for us to play with snow, but later they felt uncomfortable and went back to the hotel room. . . It is close to the city, and it takes more than an hour to drive there. . .

KKeleweidedashaziHaving spent considerable time in the vicinity of the International Club, International Building, Japanese Embassy, Associated Press, and Ritan Park, I'm very familiar with this area. The hotel is strategically located just off Chang'an Avenue, at No. 21 Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It's situated in the heart of the CBD, adjacent to Chang'an Avenue and the Embassy District. Jianguomen subway station is a mere 7-minute walk away, and iconic landmarks like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are just a few blocks from the hotel. It also offers convenient access to vibrant shopping and entertainment hubs such as Guomao, Wangfujing, and Sanlitun. I myself spent nearly a decade working in the International Building. Upon entering the lobby, its high ceilings and grand, pillarless design create a truly magnificent impression. The suites are thoughtfully laid out and exude an elegant, classic charm. A serene garden with a gentle flowing fountain enhances the overall sophisticated ambiance. Despite opening in 1997, the facilities are comprehensive, and the environment, cleanliness, and service all maintain a first-class standard. The standout feature is the unforgettable butler service; the personalized, one-on-one attention makes you feel right at home. The 24-hour comprehensive butler team provides exceptional service, anticipating and fulfilling every guest's need. Our butlers, Jasmine, Parker, Alex, and Bradley, orchestrated a series of unique experiences, including the St. Regis's classic traditional ritual of champagne sabrage. This spectacular event took place in the gallery of the Danielli Italian Restaurant on the hotel's second floor, where guests collectively raised their glasses, savored exquisite champagne, and celebrated. The sabered champagne cork was then presented as a cherished keepsake. Dylan Zhao and Candie (灿灿) went above and beyond, waiting for our return even after we came back late from a football match at Workers' Stadium. As we opened the door, they were already there, ready to welcome us home with comforting warm honey-lemon water and hot peppermint Earl Grey tea, perfectly prepared for optimal flavor. Their handwritten cards were also a thoughtful touch, now treasured keepsakes. They truly made our St. Regis night wonderful, cozy, and unforgettable. While there's so much more I wish to express, my feelings at this moment are truly beyond words, deeply etched in my heart. This unforgettable St. Regis experience will forever be etched in my memory. I look forward to returning on August 25, 2025. My sincerest thanks once again to The St. Regis Hotel for everything.

__WeChat47012****I brought my kids to let off some steam over the weekend and stayed in a Deluxe King Room. It seems I ran into the Beijing Orthopedic Surgery Medical Conference, so rooms were quite scarce. Service: Check-in procedures seemed a bit complicated, and I waited for about 15-25 minutes on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. However, guests who booked through Ctrip seemed to check in faster, didn't need to pay a deposit, and got their rooms immediately. With the hotel almost fully booked on a weekend, it seems some high-tier Marriott members tried to battle for an upgrade but weren't successful, which further confirmed the room shortage. I had requested a bed rail in advance, and it was provided right away. Environment: Standard five-star hotel. Hygiene: The room hygiene was good, and swim caps are required for the pool. The only drawback was that the children's club restroom had an odor that spread to the activity area because the door was left open, which is not up to five-star standards. Facilities: Overall good, nothing was broken. However, the TV is an older model and doesn't support screen mirroring.
