Excellent
SShanguangdexiaomayiThe hotel is located in a secluded valley, perfect for those who love peace and quiet and want to escape the hustle and bustle. Here are the pros: 1. The breakfast is incredibly lavish, offering Tomahawk steaks and roasted lamb legs first thing in the morning – can you believe that? 2. The hot springs are free to use. 3. They gifted us an Indian oil massage treatment, valued at 1588. The Indian masseuses were pure professionals and their techniques were excellent. 4. The kids' club, sports facilities, and swimming pool are all exceptionally well-equipped. 5. Room service is very convenient, with a dedicated insulated box for delivery. 6. Our butler, Luna Zhang, was incredibly professional and attentive. She escorted us all the way to our room upon arrival and even to the basement elevator upon departure, demonstrating truly professional training! 7. The minibar is complimentary on the first day. The only con is a minor one: the hot and cold water taps operate in opposite directions (one turns left to open, the other turns right), which can be a bit confusing. Considering all of this, even though the room rate is close to 2000, which might seem a bit high (compared to places like Sunrise Oriental), when you factor in the oil massage and singing bowl therapy, don't you think it's an incredibly good value?

YYanweiyangThis hotel, nestled at the foot of the Great Wall, has a unique design, converted from an old ceramics factory. There's no TV, but it's full of stories and creativity. Even though we stayed during the Chinese New Year and experienced an unusual sandstorm, our room was incredibly warm and comfortable, which my elderly parents appreciated. We were lucky enough to participate in some special CNY activities: writing 'fu' characters, creating foil art, making sugar-coated hawthorns, and learning to play drums. It really brought the festive traditional atmosphere to life! The staff were very enthusiastic, and the young instructors leading the activities were incredibly patient. Both check-in and check-out were seamless. There's a chestnut tree outside the kids' courtyard, and we're planning to return when the chestnuts are ripe.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the food street and Sun and Moon Square, and also not far from the Great Wall ticket office. They offer complimentary double tickets to Gubei Water Town Scenic Area, a double hot spring experience voucher, and a choice of two half-journey boat tickets, a double afternoon tea at Qingye Water Bar, a double hot pot tea experience at Yudao, or a double afternoon tea at Yuantong Pagoda (choose one from four). We opted for the boat ride, which didn't require advance booking. During the Qingming holiday, the Sima's Terrace cable car tickets were not included. We chose the night session after 5:30 PM, which cost 120 per person for hotel guests. There was no drone show that night, so it didn't feel like great value.

MMeiyincidufuHighly, highly recommended!!! Our group of four climbed Dongling Mountain this morning, and the scenery was so beautiful we didn't want to go back to Beijing. On a whim, we wanted to find a hot spring hotel nearby where we could relax and soak, and we found this one. The scenery was absolutely stunning!!! The entire village has excellent red-themed architecture and a very positive atmosphere. Even the small village museum's 3D video was quite good, creating a great ambiance, and in the morning, you could see the iconic red star right outside your window!! And the best part? The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! Enjoying a barbecue in the misty mountains, listening to the rain while soaking in the hot spring… friends, it was indescribably comfortable!! The owner and the manager were very kind, providing us with free breakfast. After breakfast, we immediately bought two jars of the same fermented bean curd online—it was so delicious, hahaha! In short, a perfect recommendation, we will definitely go again!!!

SShenmidebanzhuanXishan Hot Springs is truly perfect for the whole family, from the elderly to children. The seniors felt comfortable, the kids had a blast, and we felt at ease throughout our entire stay. The environment was clean and warm, and there were many hot spring pools with just the right water temperature. The elderly found it relaxing and rejuvenating, and there wasn't much walking involved, with plenty of rest areas available to sit down whenever tired. Kids have their own dedicated water play area with shallow pools that are safe and fun. There's also a children's playground, slides, and go-karts – enough to keep them entertained all day long. Plus, there's a childcare service so parents can relax for a while, which is a very thoughtful touch. The service was excellent, staff were friendly, and attention to detail was evident, taking great care of both seniors and children. Also, their Four Seasons Restaurant really knows how to cater to foodies! Our overall experience this Chinese New Year was fantastic, and I must commend it. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety; it was more for a quick bite to fill you up, suitable for those who wake up early and just want something light. However, the dinner buffet was truly outstanding. They had everything: seafood, BBQ, hot dishes, cold dishes, desserts, and fruits. You could grab salmon, oysters, roasted lamb leg, grilled durian, and crayfish to your heart's content, with each person limited to half a lobster. The taste was on point, and they refilled dishes quickly. There were so many options we couldn't even try them all – we left feeling incredibly satisfied. The late-night supper was an even bigger surprise! It was perfect for when we were tired from playing all day and got hungry at night. They had steaming hot xiaolongbao and various noodle dishes, all with great flavor and generous portions. Having hot food late at night felt incredibly comforting. Service was also attentive, with quick plate clearing and a clean, comfortable environment. Overall, breakfast was simple, dinner was lavish and enjoyable, and the late-night supper was heartwarming and just right. It's an all-in-one place for dining and entertainment where everyone in the family can find something to enjoy. It's not tiring or troublesome, and the value for money is pretty good. If you're traveling with elderly family members and children, this is the place to choose – hassle-free and comfortable. A highly recommended spot! 😎😎😎

QQuin56Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

LLiqiThis hotel is beautiful and high-class, and the rooms are very spacious. Each room has both a bathtub and a shower, and the toiletries are excellent. Whether you're relaxing in your room watching TV or heading to the ground floor for the hot spring and swimming pool (a comfortable 25-meter pool with 31-degree water, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and complimentary snacks and drinks...), there's plenty to do. Outdoors, there's an adventure park with go-karts, alpaca feeding, and horseback riding – all great options for a holiday. The hotel has both Chinese and Western restaurants. During the holiday, the Chinese restaurant offered a few quick options as well as à la carte, and the Western restaurant served a seafood buffet for dinner. The food was delicious, with a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner, and the desserts were incredibly beautiful. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff were incredibly responsible and patiently answered all questions. The hot spring front desk staff were also consistently good; even before the name change, they were always enthusiastic and helpful in coordinating any issues (all the staff in the hot spring area were also warm, polite, thoughtful, and meticulous). It seems that whether it's a holiday or not, I've always received a welcome fruit platter and a white fungus and pear afternoon tea, which is a very thoughtful touch. This time, they even gave my child a small gift when we left, which was very touching. The room packages include meals or hot spring tickets, and hotel guests get a discount if they want to purchase the buffet or hot springs separately. It's a very welcoming hotel.

GGuest UserOverall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent; it truly felt like a home away from home. My room was even upgraded to a fantastic type. Every time I passed the front desk, they would warmly greet me and ask if I needed any help. It happened to snow during my stay in Beijing, which was absolutely beautiful. Special shoutout to Yuanyuan at the front desk, who made our stay feel incredibly warm and welcoming. Excellent, I'll definitely be back next time! 💗💗💗

MM0005****The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

XxindixindiLocation: The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to the Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall, and Badaling Outlets. It's also not too far from the city center, offering convenient transportation. There's a Wanda Plaza within walking distance, so you'll have no trouble finding places to eat and drink. Room: The hotel rooms are spacious, featuring a large bathtub and a big bed. If you're traveling with a small child, you can request a bed railing from the hotel. The room's cleanliness is decent. The only downside is that the blinds don't block out light very well, affecting sleep in the mornings. Breakfast: There's a good variety of options, enough to fill you up. Service: The front desk staff are friendly. As long as it's not a peak holiday period, you won't have to queue for too long. Aileen left the deepest impression; she was incredibly warm, attentive, and accommodating to all requests. I'm very grateful to her. Hot Springs: There are many outdoor pools and water play facilities for children, including slides. We didn't get a chance to swim with the kids, so I'm not sure what the indoor swimming pool is like. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
