It's only a few hundred meters from Shuiguan Great Wall, a 5-minute walk directly to it. No need to rush when climbing the Great Wall.
The courtyard has its own open-air private hot spring pool, and the water temperature is just perfect. Soaking in the hot spring, feeling the gentle breeze, and looking up at the Great Wall. An immersive relaxation, absolutely amazing!
Service: The butler service is really great 👌 Everything is arranged in advance, so you don't have to worry about anything. It's even more attentive than a five-star hotel.
Couples Afternoon Tea: The fruit and mousse cake were delicious.
Goodnight drink (milk or mulled wine): I chose milk 🥛 It was warm and after drinking it, my sleep quality improved.

GGuest UserMy stay at Beijing Century Golden Resources Hotel far exceeded my expectations, and I especially want to give a shout-out to Kathy for her incredibly thoughtful service, which made me feel truly welcome.
From the moment I checked in, Kathy greeted me with a constant smile, processed everything efficiently, and proactively upgraded me to a room with a view. She also thoroughly explained the hotel facilities, breakfast times, and local transportation options, patiently answering all my questions. During my stay, whether I had inquiries, requests, or needed last-minute adjustments, she was always quick to respond and resolve things appropriately, demonstrating both professionalism and warmth.
My room was clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel environment was elegant, and the location was convenient. What truly impressed me, however, was Kathy's attentiveness: she remembered my dietary preferences and proactively reserved a table for me at the restaurant; on a rainy day, she reminded me to take an umbrella and even helped me call a taxi, holding an umbrella for me as I left and arrived. Every little detail showed genuine sincerity and care, truly embodying the service standard of a five-star hotel.
The entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. I highly recommend it! Thank you, Kathy, for your excellent service, and kudos to Century Golden Resources for their professionalism and warmth. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The hotel is very convenient to walk to the water town. You can also swim inside. Thank you to my colleagues at Ctrip for helping me upgrade for free! The children had a great time upgrading the perfect room to a family suite with a theme. They especially remember that the morning buffet in this hotel was very rich and delicious!

MMarcoPoPoDuring the May Day holiday, there were people everywhere. I just wanted to find a quiet place with less traffic and less people. This place is really a very good choice. It is not far from the Beijing-Weihai Expressway. Facing the mountains, there are two hot springs. The children are happy to play, and I can also listen to music and enjoy the tranquility on the recliner. Next time I go, I should bring barbecue ingredients. The courtyard provides free grills, charcoal and condiments.

MM56405****Absolutely fantastic! The two kids played in the room until midnight without any need for adult supervision. The moms just chatted and drank the whole time – it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is super close to the ancient town, only a five-minute walk. There are supermarkets downstairs and restaurants right outside the door, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is really nice and was quick to resolve any issues we had. Remember to bring some sausages when you go; there are lots of little cats downstairs waiting for you to feed them!

They even provide a fruit platter. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's fish head and broccoli are both fantastic, and there's a 12% discount too!

GGuest UserThe environment at the Commune is fantastic, with birds chirping, flowers blooming, and fresh air. The rooms are quite spacious, and although the facilities are a bit dated, they are clean and tidy (just a heads-up, the air conditioning can be a bit noisy when set to heat at a higher temperature). The hotel service is excellent; they even have an MPV shuttle if it rains. The restaurant food was surprisingly good, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. There are also activities like ball courts, ATVs, and hiking available. It's very conveniently located, just a five-minute drive from the Badaling Shuiguan Great Wall!

GGuest UserDidn't want to travel too far for our holiday, so we chose the Marriott Badaling to relax with the kids. The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Wanda Plaza, which caters to all our dining, drinking, and shopping needs. The room was spacious and well-arranged, maintaining Marriott's usual high standards. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options; even though it was crowded during the holiday, the queue was orderly, and there was plenty of food. There are many hot spring pools with good privacy, but soaking in them these past two days was a bit awkward – the outdoor wind was too strong and it was a bit sunny, while the indoor water was a bit shallow and the activities felt a bit childish, not really suitable for older kids. The indoor swimming pool, however, was great, with clean, odorless water and plenty of lounge chairs. Overall, this short getaway was quite satisfying. A special thanks to Skyller for helping us get extra perks and for the very attentive, butler-style service. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and family for a holiday.
