I have absolutely no regret staying at the Peninsula Beijing. Every US dollar spent here was so worth it, from bell services, check in, to the solid dining menus, to personal care, to the shopping options, to its prime location. We were minutes away from the abundance of malls, snacks, restaurants and the large pedestrian outdoor walking mall. The amenities here are amazing plenty and well staffed. Do bring your swim gear to take advantage of the pool. The staff at the pool and the spa were so friendly and extremely professional. Additionally, the check in staff were professional and patient as I was brushing up on my Mandarin skills. It felt extremely calm and welcoming. The restaurant staff were kind and definitely our superstars. Their breakfast menu covered authentic Chinese breakfast to western options.

My flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay over in Beijing for the night.
Hotel staff went for rhe extra mile and upgraded me to a bigger room and provided me with essential oils when I feedbacked about the adour in my previous room. The room was clean and spacious, facing Jingshan park view, its too bad I couldnt stay longer for the amazing view. The hotel staff was so attentive, very patient and very eager to help, she made me feel like a queen 😁
Spa garden was therapeutic and calming, I wish I could spend more time there.
Lounge was a sexy area, I suggest to go at night time. Cocktail there was average.
Gym was small, not comprehensive for an active person like me.
I tried both their frenchcuisine Rive Gauche and the chinese cuisine Fu Chun ju. Services and staff were impeccable and polite. But if I can only choose one, its the chinese cuisine, their roasted pigeon was AMAZING!
I visited Jingshan Park whic only 5 mins aw.

The room is very good and new! The hotel also considerately upgraded the room. The service during the Chinese New Year was also in place. The location is even better. It is about 600 meters away from Wangfujing Subway Station. Next to the hotel is Wangfu Central. There is also apm square not far away. It is very convenient to eat and go shopping during the Chinese New Year. In addition, the hotel can walk to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum, the Forbidden City, and the Treasure Hotel. I highly recommend it. By the way, Universal Studios is also directly accessible by Metro Line 1. In short, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is semi-buffet and tastes good. I also had a meal at the Zishan Restaurant on the night I arrived at the hotel, and the taste was also remarkable. During the Chinese New Year, the hotel's doorman seemed to have a brother from Hebei who served very well. When we left the hotel, he kept accompanying us to wait for the car in the cold outdoors. Thank you very much! Based on the above, Mandarin's training is quite in place. I will stay here next time!

Always wanted to experience Aman Beijing, finally booked a one night stay.
Upon arrival, Jason at the front desk was very helpful and patient in explaining various items and was pleasantly surprised to hear my room had been upgraded.
The property and the room are just like the photos but actually physically being there and seeing all the details of the architecture, courtyards, and surrounding nature and birds is like being transported back in time to another era. In this sense, Aman Beijing accomplishes what no other modern five-star luxury hotel can come close to achieving - making one feel a certain emotion or feeling that they've never felt, or perhaps only experienced in their dreams.
Everything from the furniture to the layout to the art to the lighting is so tastefully executed and done, the courtyards and grounds are kept immaculate (saw people sweeping away leaves), they even have the older style bicycles available to ride there.
Ate at the Chinese restaurant twice, the environment and lighting is so nice, their dumplings are excellent and also really enjoyed some of their soups and vegetable offerings, very delicious.
Unfortunately, I was quite sick that day and also had injured my knee the day before. One of the staff at the front desk noticed my limp and asked if I was okay. I told her I was fine, just a little sprain. She went to the back and brought out a traditional Chinese 'Ban Lan Gen' pain relief spray can which she kindly gave to me, saying I could use it and take it with me, very touched. I think it is moments like these which one will remember many years later.
All the staff I met there were very kind, during lunch was fortunate enough to meet Ivy, the F&B Manager who was very warm and hospitable. Then during dinner, after I saw down, a restaurant staff asked if I would like an ice pack for my leg, I asked her if she thought it would help and she replied, ”Yes.” They proceeded to bring out a huge ice pack that was able to wrap around my entire knee, providing instant relief. Finally, when it was time to leave, the very lovely and kind Lucy asked if I would like more ice packs to be sent to my room so I could ice my knee before retiring for the night.
Even though I was not feeling well, it was an unforgettable experience due in large part to the kind and wonderful staff there.

Service: Five-star service, really attentive service. From the lobby reception to the restaurant service, they are all friendly and enthusiastic. All the questions we raised were answered patiently, and the problem of odor in the room was dealt with in a timely manner. The front desk also thoughtfully prepared a map of the park, and the children can follow the map. The welcome fruit plate and midnight snacks are fresh and delicious. The most amazing thing is the afternoon tea of ”Flowers in the Sky”, which is really ”beautiful to eat”, a double enjoyment of vision and taste.
Environment: The simple and elegant courtyard design, the tall and spacious lobby, and the arrangement of flowers and lanterns show the style of everyone everywhere, creating a festive atmosphere.
Facilities: The facilities inside the room are slightly old and not well maintained, and many places are unsatisfactory. The double room is reasonably laid out, and we booked a double bed room, which has many problems in terms of design. As soon as you enter the door, you are facing the bathtub, which is embarrassing and in the way. The luggage has to be lifted to the innermost part before there is a place to put it. Waste of space, toilet and bathroom are separated in two corners of the room, one with a sink on each side, often looking for things in circles. What's more terrifying is that the large mirrors of the sinks on both sides are opposite each other. When adjusting the light outside at night, the whole room is dark when you turn the knob. You quickly turn it on, and when you turn back, you are scared by the layers of mirrors behind you... I really don't understand. Instead of spending so much time on designing blindly, it's better to work more on intelligence. Many homestays use smart toilets and voice-controlled curtains, but five-star hotels still have to look for light switches all over the room, which is a bit outdated.
Hygiene: Maybe there are not enough people during the holidays. The house is indeed not clean. The first room has a strong smell of smoke. I contacted the front desk to help change one. The sheets are stained. Although the waiter came to change it immediately, dust was floating in the room for a long time.
Objectively speaking, this is a hotel with feelings and cultural connotations. The hardware needs to be improved, and the humanistic environment can be given full marks💯
