Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

The location couldn't be better! Right in the heart of Wangfujing, it's convenient for getting anywhere and perfectly blends with Beijing's bustling modernity and ancient charm. The Deluxe King Room I stayed in had a perfect view and was incredibly comfortable. A special shout-out to the hotel's private butler team! Their service mindset is exceptional; they followed up throughout our stay, paid meticulous attention to details, and were quick to respond to any request and arrange everything perfectly. Their professionalism is top-notch 💯. The hardware facilities are luxurious, and the soft services are beyond reproach. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing!

This secluded courtyard offers great privacy, perfect for escaping the summer heat. The nearby hot spring hotel is also excellent. My only minor complaint was that a few of the plug sockets were faulty; plugs would just fall out after being inserted. The breakfast, however, was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The room key design was very innovative. It's a hotel well worth staying at, and I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

A butler was waiting for us while we parked, showing exceptional service. Upon checking in at the lobby, we were offered complimentary snacks and drinks. To my delight, they upgraded our room for free, allowing for a better view of Yanqi Lake. The room table had fruit and wine, and the butler had even prepared aromatherapy. Surprisingly, the bathroom floor was also thoughtfully equipped with a non-slip mat. The butler also brought our luggage to our room, and to my surprise, given the slightly chilly temperature, they even brought down a warm coat from the car – incredibly considerate! We had initially mentioned needing to get our luggage, but only remembered when they went to retrieve it, and then they thoughtfully brought us the warm coat! We also participated in an afternoon cultural tour, which provided a deeper understanding of the hotel's design style and philosophy. The food was excellent, and the hotel facilities, cleanliness, and environment were superb! Not to mention the butler's service – it was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Yanqi Lake. If we go again in the future, we will definitely choose Yanbai Mountain Villa again!

This was a wonderful stay, starting with the warm and attentive guidance and service from Yanqi Hotel's butler, Shirley. The hotel's unique garden environment is a rare and private luxury in Beijing. Another highlight was the spacious and spotless room, with captivating lakeside views from outside the suite. Strolling through the grounds, you can see the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture everywhere. At the end of our trip, butler Shirley was already waiting in the lobby, and the concierge rushed over from afar to help with our luggage. Smiles, greenery, tranquility, comfort, stunning views, and personalized service are the keywords that come to mind for this hotel. One even deeper impression I have is that every staff member I interacted with or observed, genuinely loved their hotel. Even the servers in the breakfast restaurant could enthusiastically tell guests all about the hotel, as if recounting their own treasured possessions. It was clear this wasn't just trained rhetoric, but a genuine joy and pride from the heart.

Having stayed at many five-star hotels in Beijing, this one currently reigns supreme. First off, the views are unbeatable; you get a panoramic sweep of iconic skyscrapers like the CCTV Headquarters and Fortune Plaza. The night lights are spectacular, truly embodying the city's vibrant spirit. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue that was quickly resolved by upgrading my room. The 64th-floor lounge offers 24-hour free-flow drinks. While the variety isn't extensive, it generally meets most executive lounge expectations. The coffee, however, is quite good. The happy hour on the 80th floor had decent pastries. Hot dishes were replenished quickly, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is absolutely top-notch, combining à la carte and buffet options. The à la carte seafood millet porridge, with generous portions of scallops, sea cucumber, and shrimp, was incredibly comforting – I had two bowls. The egg tarts, fresh from the oven, were also outstanding; flaky crust, not too sweet, simply delicious. I recommend going before 9:30 AM for breakfast to snag a window seat and enjoy it at leisure. The room had many thoughtful details. For instance, the Nespresso machine already had water in it, and the instructions were incredibly simple – just pop in a capsule. In most hotels of the same caliber, I'd usually have to add water and plug it in myself. The large bathtub came with a headrest, and bath towels were conveniently placed within reach above. Even under the sink, there was an anti-slip towel mat, making every corner of the room feel meticulously arranged for comfort. The pool on the 78th floor is open until 11 PM. There are also two steam rooms and a massage pool, perfect for relaxing. I'm already planning to try a room with a view next time.

Let's start with the positives: 1. The panda-themed family room was clearly thoughtfully designed, with all sorts of toys, a tent, and a slide bed. Our baby didn't even need to go to the kids' club on the basement level; they had a great time right in the room. 2. When we called the front desk for things like adding a bed rail or extra blankets, the response was prompt. Given that it was Dragon Boat Festival and there were many families with kids checking in, this really shows the hotel's room service is on point. 3. The room had an excellent view, with a panoramic sight of Yanqi Lake. 4. After checking in, the hotel provides a parking pass, allowing direct access to Yanqi Island, which was very convenient. Now for the complaints: 1. Regarding the room layout, the living room area surprisingly only had two power outlets. One was for the coffee machine, and the other was hidden inside the TV cabinet. Charging a phone was impossible in the living room. There were no power outlets near the writing desk either. I really can't fathom how the room was designed. 2. The bathroom faucet took about 20 minutes to get hot water, which was incredibly wasteful. 3. The bathroom's sliding door was broken, and the toilet seat was also damaged. The facilities are quite old. 4. The two beds in the bedroom (one large, one small) were placed side-by-side. After the baby fell asleep, to avoid disturbing them, we had to stay in the living room. However, the sliding door between the living room and bedroom offered very poor sound insulation. 5. The most frustrating thing was the toiletries. I actually found shower gel with a production date of 2024... and the toothbrush was incredibly difficult to use. Overall, the hardware quality was even worse than Atour hotels. 6. We went to the Chinese restaurant on the second floor for dinner, but there were no seats available. We ended up eating in the hallway (Picture 2), which is something I've never encountered in a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, both in the Chinese and buffet restaurants, the staff were generally older and lacked professionalism, making it seem like the hotel doesn't prioritize its F&B services. 7. Parking management was poor. Both the above-ground and underground parking lots were open to anyone without guidance, so people just parked wherever they wanted. This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review. All in all, even considering its prime location next to Yanqi Lake and the Dragon Boat Festival price surge, over 3500 a night is just too low value for money.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Stark, the duty manager that evening. Stark was incredibly patient and thorough throughout, handling our check-in efficiently and smoothly. He also proactively and thoughtfully provided information about local attractions, transportation routes, and dining options. His attention to detail truly showcased the warmth of their service. The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room's amenities were great. The restaurant service also added a lot to our Beijing trip. The à la carte breakfast was a very elegant experience. I'll definitely choose Hotel Éclat again on my next visit to Beijing.

Our stay at the Park Hyatt Beijing was an excellent experience. First off, the location is superb, right in the Beijing Yintai Centre on the East 3rd Ring Road. The hotel rooms are located on floors 37-50, offering fantastic views, including the landmark CCTV Tower and Guomao area directly opposite. Downstairs, you have direct access to Guomao Station on Metro Line 1. The breakfast spread was plentiful, featuring local Beijing specialties alongside a variety of Western options to cater to international guests. The service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; we even had a housekeeping attendant in the hallway proactively ask if we had enough water and if we needed more. Our room was clean and comfortable. Legorie meticulously arranged everything throughout our stay, ensuring smooth communication and expertly handling all our requests, big or small. Our whole family had a wonderful time! We'll definitely be back!
