I paid a 500 deposit for check-in, and the sky hot spring is charged separately. It seemed quite fun, but I didn't experience it because I checked in late. The buffet is also relatively rich. The only drawback was that the water stains on the shower head in the bathroom affected the appearance a bit, and the water in the shower at one o'clock at night was very hot. "The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor.

"The homestay itself is a renovated Tulou. It is antique and very experiential. It is a good choice for those who want to experience Tulou accommodation. Disadvantages: There is no hot water in the room. We booked a family room with two large beds, which accommodated 4 adults and 1 child. The room rate of 2099 during the Spring Festival is acceptable. But it is outrageous that there is no hot water. It’s okay that the whole family didn’t take a shower. The mountain spring water is very cold, and it’s hard to wash your face and hands. Secondly, because the room is a Tulou with a wooden structure, no matter upstairs or downstairs, inside or outside the room, as long as someone walks, you can feel the vibration and sound while lying in bed. "This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host.

It takes 8 minutes to walk slowly to Huaiyuan Tower. There is no charge to climb the tower at night. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the central waterwheel. The bar there is very lively with singing at night and the night view is super beautiful. Has its own parking lot. The boss is warm and hospitable, and he will take the initiative to pick us up in the parking lot and drag our luggage. The room is clean and beautiful, the bedding is clean and comfortable to sleep on. The package includes an afternoon tea with delicious cakes, watermelon, and chrysanthemum tea. The food at the B&B is delicious, including tiger tail chicken soup, sweet potato leaves, tofu stew, and stir-fried bamboo shoots. The wine brewed by the owner is delicious. GGuest UserIt’s a great place to lie down during the National Day~ We stayed here for three nights and went to the Shunyu Building in the village, as well as the nearby Meilin Ancient Town and Hekeng Tulou, which perfectly avoided the crowds~
The B&B retains the simplicity of the earth building architecture. At the same time, the hardware and sanitation are of good quality. The rooms are also soundproofed. From the balcony, you can see the view of the creek at the entrance of the village. You can sit on the balcony all afternoon~ A little suggestion, the water temperature adjustment of the shower is not too sensitive. You can adjust it~
Sister Jiang was really warm and thoughtful. She told us a lot about Hakka culture and the history of Tulou. She also gave us super sweet persimmons before leaving. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come to Tulou~
I also recommend the B&B’s meals and glutinous rice wine. The blind spots of the dishes are all delicious~

Parking is available at the door, and meals are 10% off. It is quiet and comfortable with few people in the off-season. The B&B room has been upgraded to a garden room. The room is spacious and bright, very quiet at night, and will be woken up by small animals in the morning! Highly recommended! EErererererererererererereryeOur little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent!
The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!
