The location is quite close to Genting Resort. Exact location is right before Ria Apartment. New building with multiple facilities. They provide all the kitchen utensil, cutlery, knife, etc if you plan to do a simple cook. If you are driving down from Genting Resort, you can reach Antara by turning into the Chin Swee Temple. If you are driving back to KL, you will need to climb pass the Genting Resort. Few things that can be improved such as the dust on the room fan, water outlet slow-flow at shower area, dishwash detergent, etc. Overall, a definite good stay with the family.

The room was bigger than expected and it had a nice view of the sunrise from the seaview room. There is an infinity pool with a great view of the sea too. Staff is friendly and housekeeping is dilligent with topping up toiletries. Location is good as it is only a 10min drive away from the good food/cafes in Kuantan across the bridge. Saw some reviews about the aircon. The aircon did take a while to cool the room but temperature was just right after it was switched on. One of our rooms had issues with a leak in the toilet and a dislodged shower head but the staff sent a serviceman to address the issues promptly. Will book this hotel again the next time I visit Kuantan.

Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard. One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap. The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered. Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.

I recently stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan and had a very pleasant experience. Jeff at the reception was very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive an anniversary cake in our room after I had placed a special remark during booking — a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel. Overall, we were very happy with the stay. The swimming pool using salt water was definitely a plus point and made the experience even better. The breakfast was good and the food tasted great as well. Highly appreciated the hospitality and service provided by the Marriott team. Never disappointed of choosing Marriott!

A very comfortable hotel with a peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the place. The views are also breathtaking with English-style architecture. The breakfast offers a wide selection and everything is delicious.

The room is spacious and clean. I love the ambience and the hotel is quite big so u have to walk around to get to your room. The view is nice and overall is good. But there is no iron and iron board in the room which is kind of bummer. Else than that all ok

Before booking, I saw all the excellent reviews and that it was a new building, so I decisively locked in this hotel. Then I compared prices between Trip and Agoda. Agoda was slightly cheaper, but Trip explicitly stated that a room upgrade was possible due to a loyalty program, so I ultimately chose to book with Trip. Upon arrival that day, the hotel allowed us to check in early and even offered a welcome drink. The entire check-in process was very smooth. I asked if the room had a view, and the front desk informed me it overlooked a forest at the back. I then inquired about the upgrade cost to a golf course view room. The on-the-spot upgrade price was RM150 (whereas online it was only RM50), so I promptly gave up on that idea! Upon entering the room, I opened the window to find a massive white wall as the view! The room design was very new and comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too high, and the soundproofing was poor – I could clearly hear other guests passing by. Even more outrageous was the fire alarm, which went off countless times in the evening (from around 9 PM until midnight), waking me up from my sleep multiple times.

Smooth check in/check out experience. Friendly staffs as well. The bell man even passionately explained to me on how to access to their facilities such as pool and gym. Love the energy from him. Very nice pool with a great view. The location is very strategic, easy access to petrol station, variety of restaurants, mart, all within 1-2 km. Distance from hotel to GPO & skyway station is just 10mins drive. Definitely will repeat next time.

I’m Very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. Check in je terus nampak sink pipe dalam bathroom bocor sampai lantai basah. Sofa pula sangat hapak, busuk, lusuh dan berbulu . and then bed pun ada sehelai rambut, meja bulat pun masih kotor macam tak properly clean before guest masuk. Overall memang rasa maintenance dan housekeeping sangat tak memuaskan. tak berbaloi dengan harga 300+/night😔 before book ada nampak review dkt tiktok apps mmg bad review tapi still juga nak book sebab nampak bilik and view cantik, tapi menghampakan sangat. so far staff semua ok, cuma kebersihan jela out. Hopefully pihak management boleh ambik iktibar dan improve service serta kebersihan untuk future guests.

I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak. Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.
