A go to hotel when I'm in Boston. Newton is a suburb but you can be in Boston very quickly but no subway stations nearby. It's right over the Massachusetts turnpike (but I've never felt bothered by highway traffic noise) it's not in town but couldn't be closer to the highway that gets you into the city or directly to the airport. It's got a great bar connected called Social that has really good food and live music sometimes on weekends and another small, neighborhood style bar right across the street (Buff's Pub) that has solid pub food and some of the best wings in the Boston area. They will for sure have whichever Boston sports game on. Bar closes early though, maybe 11pm. A great pizza place and a few other restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance (and a Dunkin' Donuts). Service is always good, the pool is quite small but it exists and is old but clean. No gym. Breakfast is solid. Parking Garage too.

Choosing this home, the price is OK, not too far from the city center, the room is a bit old, fairly clean and tidy. There is also an antique piano in the hall that can be played. The breakfast is worth mentioning, the stock is sufficient, and there is a machine for self-baked waffles and pancakes. The children like to roast and like it, eating a lot of cakes. It’s just a shop selling cars nearby, but there is a stop shop and a KFC. The next day I found out that I went to a nearby Chinese buffet. It’s very good!

The hotel is a bit dated, but relatively clean. Breakfast is self-service, and you need to ask for coffee, orange juice, and other items. After each meal, I hesitated over whether to tip. We stayed four nights, and on our last day, after breakfast, I gave the black waiter a $10 tip. The hotel's self-service washers and dryers require quarters, but the front desk wouldn't exchange coins. I ended up using the app to wash clothes, but they couldn't dry them. I hope the hotel can improve this. The location is pretty good, not far from MIT, Harvard, and downtown, about a 10-minute walk away.

There was no drinking water given. It was good that they had a dining area but weren't offering breakfast. They had coffee and snacks from 6am to 6pm but not reliable. there were days when snacks weren't available and dining room staff weren't so helpful. cleaning was also so so and they did not fill up in room coffee capsules regularly. It was a good quiet part of town but not near enough for kids to take the walk to downtown everyday.

I highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers!!! The location is excellent, and all of the staff members are very kind and welcoming. I was my first time staying at a hotel with a shared bathroom, so I was a bit worried at first. However!! IT WAS NOT UNCOMFORTABLE AT ALL! Every time I visited the restroom, it was very clean. Although there is a shower area, the floor was always dry whenever i went in, which made the space feel well -maintained It seemed like the staff checked and cleaned the bathroom frequently. If i visit Boston again, I would definitely choose this hotel again!

This was my favorite hotel during my three-week trip to the East Coast. It has a nice design, the rooms are spacious, and the windows are especially large, providing excellent natural light. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs, which is very popular for dinner and the food is quite good. There's also a games room, gym, and free laundry facilities. It's not far from Harvard, so the hotel and surrounding area felt very lively with many young people. Parking costs $33 and requires valet parking. The only downside is breakfast; the Italian restaurant downstairs doesn't open until 10:30 am, so before that time, they only have bread, which isn't very good value. I recommend eating breakfast at the burger joint next to the hotel. Coffee in the morning is free.

My kids and I decided to get out of Boston for the weekend during February school vacation. We got a 2 double bed room and the beds were extremely clean and comfortable, the room was a little small but extremely clean. The service and workers were great and friendly. The pool was clean (kind of too cold) but safe and had nice warm towels available. The free breakfast the next morning was delicious, nice spread of choices. The price was amazingly affordable! Overall a great experience, will definitely be coming back for April Vacation. 😊

The room was clean and tidy with disposable toiletries, and the hotel felt new overall. However, although the accessible room and standard room were listed at the same price (USD 161 after tax), the accessible room had no bathtub. The front desk asked for an additional USD 30 to switch, despite both room types showing the same price online. The restaurant serves Indian cuisine with good food, though alcohol prices are relatively high.

GGuest UserConveniently located hotel located a few blocks from the commuter rail backbay station. Hotel staff were great and allowed us to check in early upon arrival and store our luggage at check out so we could further explore the city. The rooms are small, bedding is best for someone under 5’9, otherwise it was a great home base for a weekend trip to the city.

Yyuan~erThe location is average and the health is OK. We are working there so choose. If it is a trip, it is more troublesome, because it costs 30 dollars to take a taxi to the city and 30 dollars to Harvard University. There are no slippers and toiletries in the room, and there are no hotels in the United States. It is very strange. Breakfast is mainly cold meals. It is good to use it as a fast hotel. Don't think about it compared with the domestic Hilton.

GGachonkiJust for a transit spending one night. Plus: room was wide and comfortable. bathroom also wide, with enough towels. Coffee bag was provided, maybe free of charge. Breakfast starts from 6am, which was actual not so bad. Location a bit far from airport but 10 minutes or so drive. Minus: bar on the day arrived closed at 9pm (information said it is open till 10pm). No bar and restaurant nearby the hotel. there was a pantry but just selling crisp (at 5 US dollars!) and detergent only. AC was old fashioned.

YYingtaoxiaojieThe hotel is located in the heart of Old Town Boston, right next to Boston Common, which is also the starting point of the Freedom Trail. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with several subway lines nearby, and it's only about a 15-minute walk from Boston South Station. The room itself was on the smaller side, but perfectly fine for opening up two 20-inch suitcases, and it was very clean. I paid for 3 nights' accommodation through Trip.com, and then an additional $122 for incidentals and taxes upon arrival at the hotel. The front desk gave me three $35 vouchers, which I used for breakfast (my room rate didn't include it). There were about seven or eight main dish options for breakfast. These vouchers could also be used for drinks, fruit, snacks, etc. There's no change given; if you go over $35, it's charged to your room and settled at check-out. I also received two drink vouchers. The front desk is on the second floor, as is the breakfast area, which transforms into a bar in the evenings. My room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy. The hotel is surrounded by Chinatown, offering many Chinese restaurants.

YYi VoonThe room was of comfortable size and I particularly appreciated that the room was made up daily. Friendly staff and good service in general.  The Grab and Go Bistro offered a good selection of breakfast choices, while the quality of dishes served at the Bisuteki (Japanese restaurant) by the lobby has much room for improvement, given the high prices! I also liked that the hotel is sandwiched between Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market, with a Blue Bikes dock just a couple mins walk from the lobby, very convenient.

Zzwk1029I stay at this hotel every time I take a flight. The parking lot is large and there is no charge if you don't stay overnight, so it is very convenient to return the rental car, take the hotel car back to the hotel, and then take the hotel car to the airport the next day. However, the only downside is that there is no water or coffee available in the lobby in the afternoon, which is very uncommon in the United States.

JJMR18Excellent location with the good transportation system in Boston to reach the entire city including the airport. Stop 3 min. Good, varied breakfast. Good facilities with gym and heated pool, long hours. Fatal services: they do not clean or make the room during the first 3 nights of your stay and you have to request in advance that they do it for the 4th and/or successive nights. Well equipped and comfortable rooms. Excessive price even though it is USA. Reception staff... not bland, the following... and in a city where the Spanish language predominates, they don't speak it. The bar and room staff almost all speak English and Spanish, in addition to their kindness... Perhaps they should exchange salaries and functions from one another and the hotel would improve remarkably.
