The hotel is between the coastal town of Znz and Nungwi (actually nungwi is further but the traffic to town is crazy)
They were kind enough to elevate our hotel experience with an anniversary set up
Schönes Hotel.
Sauberkeit Top
Service Too
Zimmer: sehr schön und geräumig
Um an den nahegelegenen Strand zu kommen, kann man problemlos den hoteleigenen Shuttle nutzen.
Wir hatten schöne und entspannte Tage im Bali Resort
The service was splendid, the receptionist was so gentle and understanding. Their restaurant service is top tier. I won't mind staying there again on my second trip.
The facilities are slightly old, especially the cups in the public bar are worn out.
Hotels are few Asians, basically European.
The hotel and the agency of Trip.com were not connected smoothly, which caused me to not be able to renew the room for a long time. Trip.com expressed sorry and upgraded the room type for me, but the hotel did not regret this at all. I continued to stay in the room from 11 am to 5 pm.
Hotel meals look monotonous and are not rich at all. In addition to bread desserts, there is not much worth eating. Winning in the one-price all-inclusive price is OK. But in Sangdao, the cost of Chinese vacation is really too high.
Although the hotel is good, it should not be missed when passing by. But it is not necessary to come on a special trip.
You get what you pay for, an economical resort, the exclusive beach is ugly, you can only see the jelly sea at high tide around 2pm, the massage is 170 RMB per hour, if you tip, you can unlock the happy ending, the food is average but the price is as low as the farmhouse in Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao, the service is very good in black Africa, it is only six kilometers to the lonely restaurant, but it costs 200 RMB to take a taxi, because this place is too remote, it takes a long way to drive from the city, and the car is still empty when going back, most of the guests are hairy Chinese, there are also local rich black people, few Chinese come to live here

It's a nice beach hotel, having a good restaurant and the staff is very friendly. To be recommended except regarding their laundry service because they are not offering to clean separate individual items of clothing as is usually offered in most hotels. A fully loaded washing machine would be charged even if you only need to wash a single item.
With a stay at Sahari Zanzibar in Bwejuu (Bwejuu Beach), you'll be a 3-minute drive from Paje Beach and 10 minutes from Jambiani Beach. This beach hotel is within the region of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including a health club and an outdoor pool. Additional features at this Colonial hotel include concierge services, an arcade/game room, and gift shops/newsstands. Guests can catch a ride on the shuttle (surcharge), which operates within 5 meters.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the hotel's 2 restaurants, or stay in and take advantage of the room service (during limited hours). Snacks are also available at the coffee shop/cafe. Mingle with other guests at the complimentary reception, held daily. Relax with a refreshing drink at the beach bar, the poolside bar, or one of 2 bars/lounges.
Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Make yourself at home in one of the 12 air-conditioned rooms featuring minibars (stocked with some free items). Rooms have private balconies or patios. Private bathrooms have deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads. Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes and desks, and housekeeping is provided daily.
My stay at Samawa Living was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and care from the staff. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so safe and seen, which made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Kadogo, Hashimu, Baby, Asha, and the rest of the amazing team who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their genuine kindness and attentive service stood out in every interaction.
The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment.
From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a safe, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in the Paje area, I highly recommend it.

LLEEBeautiful sunset, good bar & meals, Amazing facility (literally everywhere is more than great) and nice hospitality. I should have booked here at least 3 nights. If you want to stay near famous beaches, then tourist attractions are not in walking distance, but you dont even need to go, staying in this resort is perfect enough. GOOD VIBE!!
GGuest UserWe were really excited about our stay but found it extremely disappointing. We had an issue with our transfer that was handled poorly with no apology. Service at the resort is terrible.
Whilst the resort itself is nice (accommodation is lovely) the beaches on the main island are far superior. In our opinion, not worth the money.
SsamsonStaff were really helpful especially the receptionists. The food was really good and had a wide range of variety. The bars are nice especially jetti bar by the Ocean. Swimming pools are good. Room was good except for the foul smell of humidity. The night entertainment was basic.
YYAOFirst of all, the advantages here are designer hotels, design with great care, rich characteristics, everywhere can make blockbusters.
There are also many shortcomings. First of all, the location is remote and the price is not cheap. Except for the hotel itself having two kayaks, there is no sea exercise. The beach is not good, because there are fishing villages nearby, so it is dirty and there are many rocks.
The food was exquisite and too delicate, leading to a little bit of food not enough.
Unexpectedly, the fishing village next to it can buy the seafood that local fishermen catch every day. The price is incredible. I bring my own hot pot base to help the hotel process, which is absolutely satisfying for the stomach of the food.
The hotel is built on topography, up and down are not very friendly to families with children, suitable for couples to travel
