"The building is good, the room clean, and the amenities more than adequate. But the location isn't very convenient if you only use public transportation and your own two feet. If you have a car, however, it's perfect."

"The location is not far from DT. The facilities are relatively new. There is a parking lot. Parking requires an additional fee. The overall hygiene is not bad. The price/performance ratio is high. The front desk service is warm. It is a good choice for you to travel downtown Toronto."

"There is nothing in the room, but you shouldn't expect such a luxurious room for this price. There is a public toilet and bathroom on each floor, which are quite clean. You need a room card to enter the dormitory building and the elevator, and the management seems to be good. It is located inside the University of Toronto, and there is a bus stop next to it, so the transportation is quite convenient. It is suitable for budget travel."

"The stay was great. Rooms were big, clean and just great. My only concern is about the AC system. They can never cool the whole room even when set to the coldest setting with the highest fan speed. Management was really cool, supportive and friendly and so were the neighbors. It's the best place to stay if you are travelling alone. Tons of places to eat and visit near by."

"We had 1 night and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It had convenient location near the airport, not busy roads. There is a park close to hotel, so you can go for a walk, play disc golf or golf. Everything was clean in the region, comfortable bed, pillows. Big thanks for the coffee machine in the lobby, delicious fresh coffee! Breakfast was good, they had beans which tasted good. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The room was spacious with a great view and a convenient location, within walking distance to the Eaton Centre and Union Station, surrounded by major corporations like KPMG. The deposit was refunded quickly; the pre-authorization was released instantly upon check-out, unlike other hotels in North America where it can take up to two weeks."

"My daughter and I stayed in a 2 queen bed suite. The floors were dirty. There was a lot of dust, 3 socks and a pair of tweezers under one of the beds. The bed skirts were filthy dirty. Luckily the other bedding seemed Clean. The space itself was great as were the furnishings. We received a small number of towels (one hand towel, one face cloth and two bath towels) and there were no glasses, mugs or cutlery in the suite.The cupboards were quite bare- one kettle, 2 plates and one pot . The location was ideal for us- but we felt we overplayed for what we were provided."

"This is my first time staying here and it may be my last time. Both the restaurant & maintenance staff were patient, polite, and thoughtful. One of the shuttle drivers was very detail-oriented and made sure to meet guests’ needs, which I greatly appreciate, but another driver was repeatedly late and had an awful, unprofessional attitude. Upon check-in, a deposit is required and while that per se isn’t a problem, the credit card terminal/machine was very difficult to navigate. It ended up blocking my credit card from being used anywhere which is a nightmare for any traveler especially as a lot of places I go to are cashless venues. The ‘do not disturb’ door sign keeps falling off the knob/handle every single time I open and close the door, which caused inconvenience repeatedly (not a one-off issue). I wish they would modernize the air conditioning system. The one in my room was not working at first, no heating in winter is intolerable, I had to get the thermostat replaced which again caused more inconvenience for me. Overall room cleanliness was fine except a few colored specks on one of the bath towels. The room curtains as well as the shower temperature were confusing to adjust. The HVAC noises were quite disruptive too. I just feel like there were so many problems that had to be solved and friction to endure before I could even find any enjoyment in my stay. I know this isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel but even with that in mind, it sure did find lots of ways to disappoint me."
