The house is close to the Ontario Lake Waterfront. It's super convenient to walk to attractions like the waterfront, CN Tower, and Rogers Centre. It's also not far from Chinatown, the University of Toronto, and the Royal Ontario Museum to the north. The service was impeccable, highly recommend!

Anonymous UserAn unexpectedly warm stay, highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto!
Choosing ”Maplewood Abode” in downtown Toronto was an excellent decision. The location is superb, within walking distance to the subway and major shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing.
What touched me most was the host. Communication was seamless throughout my stay, truly a case of ”no question left unanswered.” Whether it was advice on transit, restaurant recommendations, or tips on avoiding tourist traps, the host patiently offered tons of practical suggestions. Many were hidden gems only locals would know, saving me a lot of unnecessary detours.
The room was decorated very warmly, the bedding was clean and soft, and the surroundings were quiet. I was able to get a sound night's sleep every day, and all my travel fatigue just melted away. Even more delightful, the host enthusiastically shared some homemade food with me! I tried a chicken bun and a pork and radish bun – the wrappers were thin, the filling generous, and the taste was wonderfully authentic home-style cooking. Each bite was full of human kindness.
Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. It offered both the cleanliness and convenience of a hotel, along with the warmth of visiting a friend's home. I will definitely choose Maplewood Abode again on my next trip to Toronto, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling for leisure or business in this city!

AlanSpivackA great hotel in a prime location. The Radisson Blu is situated right on the harbor. It is surrounded by iconic locations, great restaurants and attractions. The CN tower and Roger Center are just a few minutes walk. You can walk along the harbor boardwalk or sit in a nice cafe and watch planes take off and land at the small island airport just across the water.

Guest UserThe place is a bit old but it is clean with amenities like microwave, big fridge and basic kitchen utensils. Lots of storage space as well.
I like the complimentary lounge with nice TV viewing providing coffee, tea and a water dispenser. Watching World Cup matches was very convenient.
Location wise it is actually quite good being 300 meters from the Bloor-yonge subway station but that would be the closest to eateries as well so need to walk about 10 mins to have more food choices.

Ideal location for any downtown Toronto activity week with family or friends, 15 min walk to core downtown. 2 bed rooms one does not have a window but perfect for a peaceful sleep. View from the 37th floor of the downtown core and CN tower.

1100904065The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was of good quality, and the transportation was convenient. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was punctual and on time. It's a Holiday Inn that's very suitable for layovers. Although the hotel decor isn't luxurious, it's not as run-down as some reviews claim; I'd say the facilities are actually well-maintained. The only negative experience was with the shuttle bus driver in the morning. He just stood at the bus door waiting for tips. If he had helped with luggage, a tip would be deserved. This guy didn't even get off to help; he just tidied up the luggage rack on the bus, and then extended his hand to help steady us when we got off, all while expecting a tip. That's a bit much. You should provide good service to earn a tip, not just hold out your hand without doing any work.

I could not have asked for a better location for our needs. I felt safe being right beside a police station, which was very reassuring.
From the start, I was warmly greeted, and I even received a call within about 10 minutes of checking in to make sure everything was going well, which was a nice touch. The deposit was affordable and they did not ask me to sign a waiver for it, which I appreciated as it kept the check-in process simple. I was able to use a luggage cart to bring all of our bags and cooler up easily, and the elevator made it very convenient. There was plenty of space in the room to organize our things, and it was helpful to have a refrigerator for food and drinks.
The bed was comfortable, and although I could hear my neighbour at times, I was still able to sleep well. I also enjoyed the clean pool area, which was well maintained.
Breakfast was spacious with a good variety of options, making it an easy and pleasant start to the day.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location with thoughtful service and good amenities.

Hong Kong BobI swore off comfort inn motels a couple of years ago, but I was desperate and this one was close to the airport for a fight diversion. They offered a shuttle service which took an hour and a 15 to get to me, 45 minutes longer than the 30 minute wait I was told.
Room was clean, modern and the usual comfort inn smell. Bed and pillows comfortable. Good breakfast, again, not the usual comfort inn fruit loops and bagels

I love this hotel. It's a great price, in a convenient location (to Uber around the city) and has great amenities. They have a bar on sight (it's simple but the menu is great). They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner there too, which you can get to-go and bring to your room. The outdoor and indoor pools are both very nice - especially the indoor pool. It's very unique and aesthetic. The hallways may be a little dated but again the price and the amenities far surpassed that detail. Some rooms even have balcony access to get some fresh air from your room which is really neat. This has been our go-to hotel when we head to the city to see a concert/show.

Rachel 0626The room gets great natural light, almost like a guesthouse co-living setup. It's fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and even a kitchen. The bathroom also has shampoo and shower gel. The hosts are very responsive and helpful with any questions. The room itself is cozy and smells lovely. There are even entertainment options like board games! Downstairs, you'll find convenient fast-food places, Japanese restaurants, and an ice cream shop. A short walk away is a huge supermarket. Families should confirm with the host whether their room type requires a shared bathroom; they'll reply to messages on Trip.com. If a family of four books two rooms in one unit, it would be absolutely perfect. The balcony view is also beautiful.
