The room is clean and spacious. The hostess gave us fresh fruits. The place is quiet in the day and night. Hotel is located opposite Huayan Temple and convenienfly walking distances to Drum / Bell tower and city walls. It’s also walking distance to 2 famous FenglinGe restaurant and Xijin Road Noodle Restaurant (喜晋道•面馆) and Fenglinge (凤临阁) - definitely must try for gourmet wannabes.

This hotel was really good! It was in a smaller alley, so not alot of noise, close to the ancient city. In 10 minutes walk you will already have the views of the city walls. It was very easy to reach by bus from the high speed train station (Datongnan). The room was beautiful, bed was super comfy and everything was clean. No cigarette smell either. Staff was really friendly and could speak some English which was pleasant. There is also a coffee and cocktail bar in the lobby, we only tried the coffee, but it was a nice!

Excellent. Done in the traditional hotel style but with very modern in-room amenities. Bathroom is clean and private, with nice shower including good quality—free flow—shampoo and bodywash, clean toilet and a proper door (no glass bathrooms here!). It’s so hard to find a hotel room like this these days. Most importantly, all the staff were totally amazing, and the manager is so friendly and keen to help and can speak some English which makes things all the easier. There are quite a few shaokao and noodle places around the hotel, and importantly, the snowman drink place (蜜雪冰城) is not too far away! The hotel is just a couple of Ks south of the most popular entrance to the amazing ancient wall (大同古城), and in the other direction, about five hundred metres to another nice park called Mingtan Park where I flew my new drone for the first time ever while a local man practiced perfectly his Taoist meditation completely undeterred by the annoying whirring sound of the drone! My only regret is not planning more than a single night here. There’s so much more to Datong than just the Yungang Grottoes and the Hengshan Hanging Temple (though they are both totally spectacular!), so stay a couple of nights at least if you can.

Amazing start to our Shanxi visit - despite freezing subzero weather, our hearts are warmed by our most welcoming and beautiful Ms Zhang, who single-handedly took on and resolved all our issues, always with a smile and utmost efficiency and diligence; from picking us up at the train station, making us warm fresh longjing tea and fresh fruits every night breakfast preparation, recommending a driver (Ms Guo) to maximise our time in Datong, recommending the best local restaurants (Fengling Restaurant is our favourite), assisting us with our laundry, taking us to the bank to exchange money. There’s nothing she cannot do! Most importantly she is so attentive to my elderly parents, especially my mum who has mobility issue- Ms Zhang drove us to and from the city and we are very thankful for her very warm hospitality. She went out of her way to make our stay so comfortable and on the last night, took us on a drive around the ancient city to absorb the night scenery. My mum thinks this is one of the best hotel she has stayed in. Comfortable bedding and beautifully designed and well-fitted out with Smart technologies. Most highly recommended!

Very satisfied, it should be a new store. When I booked the room, I saw few reviews and was a little hesitant. However, it exceeded my expectations by a lot. I particularly liked the loft style, which is simple and stylish. The layout is reasonable, there are two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, and the price is also very good. The whole house is smart and fully equipped. The shower gel and other items are all from L'Occitane. The bed, bathrobe and slippers are all very comfortable. The geographical location is excellent, Wanda and Xijin Road are very close, and takeaway can be delivered to your door. There is also a pick-up service, which is about ten minutes' drive from the high-speed rail station, which is also very fast. In short, I am very satisfied. It is a super treasure hotel. Please keep up the good work and come again next time! ! !

Two adults and two children traveled to Datong. They wanted to live together and find a place with convenient transportation. Finally, they chose the big kang room of Gujia Inn. Although the room is not big, the kang is really big. The four of us can sleep comfortably. I was worried about whether it would be cold before, but this worry was really unnecessary. There is a parking lot in front of the door. The Drum Tower is not far from the hotel. You can go shopping on the southeast side of the Drum Tower. There are many restaurants and snacks around. Huayan Temple, Dai Wangfu, and Nine Dragon Wall are also nearby. If you want to walk around the ancient city, the location of this hotel is really convenient. It's my first time here. The boss has prepared a map, and you can get one at the front desk. When I left the hotel, I was given Shanxi specialty old vinegar. I really think that the cost-effectiveness of tourism in Datong is really high👍

The main reason for booking this hotel is because it is close to the high-speed rail station. It is indeed very close. It takes only ten minutes to walk there. It is very convenient. The hotel staff has very good service. There was a problem with the shower water at night. They called and came to help us check it immediately. The security brother and the cleaning lady were also very good. They gave people a very friendly feeling. I stayed there for one night and didn't take any photos, but it was the same as in the pictures. I attached a few photos of the trip. I am really sorry.

One thing to say, it was my first time to go to Datong. I did a lot of research online in the early stage and finally chose this hotel. First of all, the service was very good. Because we arrived in Datong after 10 o'clock in the evening, the front desk contacted us in advance to confirm the arrival time and reminded us that it would rain in the area and pay attention to safety. After arriving at the hotel, the entrance was very small. If the front desk hadn't reminded me in advance, I would have never found this place. The second thing is that after returning to the room, the hygiene was not good, there were broken hairs on the bed, and the newly decorated cabinets smelled, which was a bit irritating to the eyes. The most troublesome thing is the bathroom sink. Once you wash your face, don't put anything on the countertop, otherwise it will get wet. When I checked out, I told the front desk about the noise at night, and the front desk gave me local specialties as a gift.

The hotel was very lovely and located in a very convenient area. Lots of famous restaurants around the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, with a clean hot shower and smart toilet. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind.
