Hotel is in a great location in the old city, being in front of the Bell Tower and 2 minutes' walk from Huayan Monastery and 5 minutes from the Nine Dragon Wall. Being in a pedestrianized area means there is no traffic noise and is near many restaurants and shops. Rooms are nicely appointed and very clean with a hot and strong shower. The reception is very friendly and helpful and was organized a car and driver for me to visit both Yungang Grottos and Hanging Temple in a single day. The lady at the reception even lend me a winter hat as she feels I wasn't appropriately dressed for the cold weather. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel located in the ancient city of Datong right in front of the Huayan Monastery is wonderful. Spotlessly clean, furnished with style and elegance. The owners are very kind. Fresh fruit every day and ready to fulfill our wishes and requests.The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of excellent quality. Bathroom toiletries are provided. If you visit Datong you absolutely must not miss it! Absolutely recommended!

After searching online for a long time, I finally chose Gujia Inn with a try-it-out mentality. I didn't expect to have unexpected gains. First of all, the location is excellent. It is located in the center of the ancient city. It takes a few minutes to walk to various attractions in the city, and the farthest is no more than ten minutes. Ancient buildings, four archways, Daiwang Mansion, Nine Dragon Wall, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, pedestrian streets and other attractions are all around. Restaurants and various local snacks are only a few minutes away. I ate the millet jelly, siu mai, knife-cut noodles, rabbit head, jelly, etc. that I had been thinking about. In addition, the inn is clean and sanitary, the service is warm, and it is convenient to travel. This trip was a pleasant surprise!

My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed at 陆合景客栈 for 2 nights when we visited Datong. The hotel was very beautiful, and the family room was excellent. The beds we comfortable, and the room was very well equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel was very nicely decorated to match the atmosphere of the ancient city. I would like to especially give commendations to Ms 任红霞 and Mr 付强. Both of them provided exceptionally good service during our stay and made sure that all our questions and needs were fulfilled. They are exceptional staff of the hotel and I hope the hotel management rewards them for their hard work. Highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for accommodation in Datong ancient city.

Staying at this hotel made me feel really at home! The hotel's hygiene is also very clean, which makes me feel at ease. The hotel's service is also very intimate and thoughtful, and the staff are always patient to answer questions for the guests! Hotel location is good, just in the center of the ancient city, convenient to travel, the specialties near the inn are also rich! It makes me fall in love with Datong! Highly recommended to friends who come to Datong for tourism or business trips!

The hotel was very lovely and located in a very convenient area. Lots of famous restaurants around the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, with a clean hot shower and smart toilet. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind.

This homestay experience must be sincerely recommended to everyone! When I first chose the homestay, I was very nervous and hesitated whether to choose this one. Later, a friend who had stayed there strongly recommended it. I did some homework myself and read all kinds of reviews. I found that his reviews were simple and real, without any false bragging. After all, I had a bad experience of being ”cheated” by reviews before, so I was extra cautious. When I really arrived at the homestay and took a look, wow, this is not a ”photo cheat”, the real scene is simply beautiful, and the stay experience is far beyond expectations. Everyone in the family laughed and was very satisfied. What's more surprising is that I met the legendary boss, who turned out to be our Beijing fellow, and his smile was particularly kind. Why is it called the legendary boss? It turns out that he is a big shot in the outdoor world and has climbed the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. This experience is amazing! After chatting with the boss for a while, I found that he is knowledgeable and has a wide range of interests. He can talk about astronomy and geography. After such a chat, I felt enlightened. The fatigue and anxiety brought by the big city were swept away. I gained a lot. This trip was so worthwhile!

Very good B&B, quaint and quiet in a busy city. It is convenient to go anywhere in the ancient city, and the late check-out can be until 3 o'clock! The boss is warm and hospitable. After arriving at the store, he learned that we were traveling as a family and had booked different room types in two courtyards, so he took the initiative to upgrade our room type. You can also order food in the B&B. If you are tired and don't want to go out, you can eat in the small courtyard. I feel that it will be more beautiful in summer when the plants grow in the courtyard!

The room was clean and the boss was very welcoming. There was a tea table in the lobby. I had occupied it for the past two days. Haha, the boss didn’t dislike it at all. He just kept letting go. Just a friend lived nearby, so I was talking about things at this tea table. Can you imagine that while drinking tea, you can wait for the door Xijin Road? The guy at the front desk was very good. He went out to drink at night and came back at two o'clock. He kept waiting and would not close the door until you knocked on the door. This must be praised. In short, this is not a luxury hotel, economical and clean sleep is enough, but enthusiasm and care are the king of service, by the way, go out is Huayan Temple.

Satisfied, the location is very good. When you go out, turn left and you will see Huayan Temple. Turn right and you will see Fahua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall, and Prince Dai's Mansion. The price is also quite suitable. The service is warm and the hygiene is very good.
