I spent a long time choosing online before I finally settled on Wantu. The girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic and attentive. The boss was very straightforward in Chongqing dialect. I originally planned to stay for two days, but ended up staying for another day. Let me talk about the room. The whole house is smart, the room is spacious and hygienic, and the heating is also great. What makes me happy most is that the shower water is very big, so I don't need to worry about taking a shower. Everyone can rest assured to stay here.

One thing to say, it was my first time to go to Datong. I did a lot of research online in the early stage and finally chose this hotel. First of all, the service was very good. Because we arrived in Datong after 10 o'clock in the evening, the front desk contacted us in advance to confirm the arrival time and reminded us that it would rain in the area and pay attention to safety. After arriving at the hotel, the entrance was very small. If the front desk hadn't reminded me in advance, I would have never found this place. The second thing is that after returning to the room, the hygiene was not good, there were broken hairs on the bed, and the newly decorated cabinets smelled, which was a bit irritating to the eyes. The most troublesome thing is the bathroom sink. Once you wash your face, don't put anything on the countertop, otherwise it will get wet. When I checked out, I told the front desk about the noise at night, and the front desk gave me local specialties as a gift.

The location is great, near the west gate in the ancient city (about five minutes walk), three minutes walk to Huayan Temple, five or six minutes walk to Sandaocai Bell Tower, and one minute to Huayan Temple bus station. During the May Day holiday, the ancient city is restricted by time, so the area near the bus station and the ancient city gate is very important. If you stay in the B&B hotels in the ancient street at the entrance of Huayan Temple, you have to walk out to take a bus (the pedestrian street car can't enter), so the location is really amazing. The scenic spots in the ancient city can be reached by bus. The first floor is the lobby (café), the second floor is the guest rooms, restaurant and courtyard, and there is a balcony on the second floor, where you can drink tea or coffee while looking at Huayan Temple. The breakfast is a set meal, very healthy, with fruits, eggs, vegetables, co**** grains, knife-cut noodles, bread slices, etc. The room we stayed in was not particularly large, but it was ok. Only the bathroom was slightly small, with complete bathroom supplies and clean hygiene. The service was very good, there was water and sea buckthorn juice in the room, and it was a very warm family. The child said that he would stay here again when he came to Datong next time, and he wanted to change to a room with a loft.

The location is very good. It's very close to Datong South Railway Station, Drum Tower, Prince Dai's Mansion, Nine Dragon Wall, and Shanhua Temple. When I was shooting costumes in the ancient city, the landlady even let me shoot in the courtyard, which was beyond the scope of the movie.

The breakfast for two provided by the hotel is also quite rich and healthy, definitely better than the general breakfast outside, with wontons, hand-rolled noodles, mutton offal noodles, and different ones every day. Before leaving the store, the store manager gave each guest a bag of organic millet produced in Shanxi and asked the store clerk to move our suitcases from the third floor to the gate of the courtyard. A family of five booked two rooms in this B&B for a trip, one for landscape and one for sun and moon. The boss was very enthusiastic. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the sun and moon were upgraded to four seasons for free, and local Datong mooncakes were given as gifts. It made me feel at home. The courtyard is very quiet, the room facilities are all new, clean and sanitary, and disposable bath towels/towels and disposable toilet mats are provided, which is very reassuring in terms of hygiene. The parking lot is large and convenient. It is very convenient to go shopping. You can walk to Gulou East Street through an alley less than 100 meters away. You can also walk to the ancient city wall, Dai Wangfu, Huayan Temple, Fahua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall, Drum Tower and other attractions. If you are tired from going out in the morning , go back to the room to rest for a while at noon, and then go out for shopping in the afternoon, it is so convenient. Taste the delicious food, watch the night view, and go back to the hotel later. The yard has tables, chairs and parasols. If the weather is good, you can drink tea and play cards in the yard.

After walking across the bridge, we were at the entrance to the Yungang Grottoes attraction. The tour started at 7 o'clock in Silk Road. When a large number of tourists began to arrive, we had already started to return. 2. The check-out time of the B&B is quite friendly.
