Datong Hotels with Airport Shuttle

This inn has the vibes of a decent hotel room. Plus points are its great location, loft experience and long heritage. The interior decorations are full of description of its long history. The room is clean and well maintained.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The entire experience is really fantastic. For foreigners coming to China, I would recommend stopping by Datong and staying in this guesthouse. The owner is extremely friendly, providing pick up and drop off service for my family with elderly parents. There is no need to worry about the language barrier as she does her best to make the experience as comfortably as she can. She also sent us to a nearby famous hotpot restaurant. Rose tea and fruits are served every night and her 刀削面 for breakfast is the best I had of all the noodles I ate in China. It’s a very homely feel and I would want to go back again. The bed is very comfortable, with Dyson hair dryer and warm water works well. There is a bidet and elevator in the guesthouse. Wonderful experience and ps: this is not a paid review 😆

We drove from Heilongjiang and stayed at the most complete hotel along the way. The bathtub is very good, the hot water is sufficient, and a bath to relieve fatigue. There are also free ice cream and lotus seeds and white fungus, which children especially like. The curtains are fully automatic, fully shading, and the light does not affect sleep at all.

The room is very clean, the layout is simple and generous, the surrounding environment is nice and quiet, giving people a very warm feeling, and there is free breakfast in the morning. The location is very close to the ancient city, and it is very convenient to visit the surrounding attractions. Facilities: Toilets, curtains, etc. are all smart Service: The two bosses were very enthusiastic. They were afraid that we would be late for the station when we left the hotel in the morning, so they personally sent us to the station. Next time I come to Datong, I will stay here again.

The homestay is on the ancient street in front of the Confucian Temple, near the intersection. Parking in a public parking lot not far away, 20 yuan / every 24 hours. The old house was changed to a homestay, check-in and breakfast were on the ancient street, and the room was in the yard that was walked in by the next door. The yard is very distinctive and the room is clean and comfortable. The boss is very enthusiastic and polite, helping with luggage, cutting the mango we brought, staying in to send fruit, and breakfast in the morning is also very rich.

A must-stay inn in Datong! * Location: The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city, close to Huayan Temple, Bell Tower, Kowloon Wall, Dai Wangfu and other major attractions, within walking distance. There are many online red restaurants in the surrounding area, such as Xijin Road, Beiwei Family Banquet, Fenglin Pavilion, Longjuxiang, etc., to meet the food needs of tourists. * Service quality: The staff is warm and thoughtful, and actively provides play guides, pick up luggage, and assist in solving travel problems. The service is meticulous and intimate, and I feel the experience of being at home. * Room hygiene and facilities: The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including floor heating, elevator, intelligent control equipment, etc. The room design style is unique and comfortable. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. * Environment and atmosphere: the hotel is quiet, sound insulation is good, the overall environment is warm and elegant, suitable for families, parents and self-driving tourists. recommend!

We booked three rooms in total. As the elders and children had different requirements, we adjusted the rooms after describing them to the boss. The boss and his wife were both warm and considerate. You can see that they put a lot of thought into the decoration and room configuration. The room was very big and very warm in winter. The side dishes made by the boss in the morning, including millet porridge and knife-cut noodles, were very delicious and warming, suitable for our family's appetite. The quality of the disposable items and toiletries in the room was very good, no less than that of a five-star hotel. As there were many of us, the boss came to pick us up. The location is also very good, right in the new B&B area behind Dai Wangfu, quiet and convenient. You can walk to the ancient city where there are many places to eat, drink and have fun. It is also very close to Dai Wangfu, Nine Dragon Wall and Yanhua Temple. I am very satisfied and may choose to stay here for a day next time I come.

The location is right next to the city wall, with a large group of newly built courtyards. Parking is available on the roadside and in the alleys. You can just scan a yellow bike to get to the Drum Tower in a few minutes. It is within walking distance of my favorite Liumaojiu restaurant and Erban Daoxiaomian old shop. The homestay is relatively new, the whole house is smart and convenient, the environment is good, the service staff is very attentive and will take the initiative to ask about the breakfast time the next day, and introduce the surrounding food and travel guide. The breakfast is also very exquisite. The Longqian I stayed on the third floor, with three windows that can see the city wall, which is still very beautiful at night. The house has its own small yard. This time I went there just in time for one day when it rained, it was very beautiful. A fruit plate and drink were given when checking in, and a souvenir was given when checking out. The store owner was attentive. If you drive here, the navigation is not easy to find. You can navigate to Yunxiju, turn right in, and you will arrive after passing Boyun Xiaozhu. The disposable items are quite complete and the brands are OK. The wash basin is open, so you need to be careful about splashing water when using it. If you put a floor towel at the door of the shower room and open the door, the floor towel will be pushed away. The seal between the toilet and the shower room door is average, and the bathroom door is not closed tightly. If the shower head accidentally splashes on the door, water will stay out. I suggest that the boss can find a way to improve it. Overall, I am very satisfied! I will choose this one next time I go.

It can be seen that the hotel has made a great effort in hygiene. The room is spacious and the layout is reasonable. There is no cramped feeling of the general hotel at all. The surrounding food is superb. Whether it is a business trip or a tourist holiday, this hotel is very recommended. I will choose it without hesitation next time!
