Shanghai Hotels with Gym

The crowne plaza was an unbelievable stay. I booked two rooms, one for my parents and another for my family. We made a special request, which was accommodated, for a room without carpets. The hotel was perfect. My parents had no problem moving around in the vicinity and could easily communicate with the staff (in English) if they needed anything. This has been my 4th time staying at Crowne Plaza and my experience keeps on getting better. Amazing sights walking distance from the hotel. Just perfect!

Note that the high floor and away from the elevator are satisfied, the front desk has also done a free upgrade to the larger area of the queen bed suite, the rotating restaurant on the top floor is even more impressive!

Hotel was centrally located and very near the subway as well as the Nanjing Pedestrian street. Breakfast variety was good as well with a mix of Western and Chinese cuisine. Main gripe was that the front desk seem to be always understaffed and took quite some time for check-in

The hotel is at a very convenient location. There are 4 subway lines nearby and it is easy to get a taxi or ride share car. The service is very good. The hotel staff show curtesy whenever possible. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Enjoyed the stay at Pullman Jing’an. The location is great, it’s five minutes walk to the Shanghai Railway subway station on Line 1 - just two stops from the famous People’s Square. Easy to take the subway to many attractions. The service at the reception is friendly , English is spoken. The room is compact and might not have enough space if you have many pieces of luggage. It was fine for 1 piece of luggage and 1 medium size luggage. Bed is and pillows are very comfortable.

I picked the deluxe room mainly for the view on the river and the skyline. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for our anniversary and I wasn't disappointed. View is absolutely stunning both day-time and night-time. The room is very classy with beautiful details. Only the flooring was a bit damaged. Breakfast is delicious with a vast selection of food (also sweet). Check-in was smooth not all the staff could be speak English but that wasn't an issue. Definitely recommended for a special stay in Shanghai.

Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and probably will again, although I did report my room safe was broken a number of times and across a 5 night stay (I had 2 bookings and mentioned this problem in the review against the first booking as well) it was not fixed. It was an unusual blip in what is ordinarily a great experience at this hotel but I mention it as this amenity is very important to many travellers. I haven’t had this problem before - next time I will ask for a new room straight away. Hotel is very well priced for its location (near French concession area and the Bund), ordinary level of service, and while rooms aren’t super new/modern, they are generally well maintained and always clean.

We have used this hotel many times and always enjoy the location and comfort. However, this time I was rudely told to pay deposit which I have never been asked for before (we prepaid) after some arguing he said he wouldn’t ask for one. The second problem was being told I would need to wait 90 minutes to check into my room even though I arrived at the check in time of 3pm. After some further arguing he eventually gave me room I could check into straight away. He gave me the cards and was clearly sulking. Not the service I expect from this hotel

Exceptional service from all staff, especially Ricky when checking in and Stephen from the conceirge who gave excellent tips and constantly so helpful and patient during our stay. We booked the club package and enjoyed it thoroughly. Love the afternoon tea and evening cocktail and snacks. It was amazing, though we prefer the wider varieties of breakfast at the lobby in the morning than the lounge. Rooms are spacious and very clean but could see some parts are dated. Love especially the Japanese toilet, with warm seat function. The mattress is extremely comfortable and to our liking. Love the excellent location, center of everything. Also was really fun to have a ride in the pink London Taxi that our package provided, the kids enjoyed the ride. Highly recommend and will definitely my only address in Shanghai. Also not to forget the excellent swimming facilities in Langham and our kids could even book private swimming classes. The teacher is excellent and could help our kids fine tune their skills and could see immediate results. The jaccuzi is larger than expected and water temperature is warm.
