"The overall environment was quite nice, and the room was acceptable. However, eating breakfast in the room wasn't ideal. Firstly, the room was small with no suitable dining area; I ate on the platform that day. The selection was fixed, and the food was cold by the time it arrived. There was no hanging area for coats, so there was no place to put any luggage. The minibar wasn't stocked much either, with only three bottles of Perrier, beer, and some other beverage. The bathroom area lacked razors, hair ties, and the most basic toothpaste and toothbrush. At this price, I wouldn't consider staying a second time. It felt like the price and service were only around 700-800 RMB. They offered a pick-up and drop-off service, but the car was unavailable, so I had to take a taxi. They offered to reimburse me, but didn't mention it. The next day, they offered to take us, but I had already indicated I didn't need it and had other plans. I mentioned this in the group chat the night before. It felt neither sophisticated nor modern, trying to provide 1:1 service but failing to pay attention to details. We went straight to the room upon entering; there wasn't even a lobby. Compared to a five-star hotel, it lacked standard procedures. Although I haven't stayed in luxury hotels, I've stayed at Six Senses, Marriott, Westin, W, and similar establishments quite a bit. I've experienced quite a few guesthouses, including Jiurang in Guilin and Nalishu in Gaoligong Mountain, Tengchong—places that are sure to be covered in dirt. Overall, they were neither particularly good nor bad. But they can't be compared to these…"

"Very close to Yungang Grottoes. Parking is easy. The room is comfortable, clean, has floor heating, and is pet-friendly. It is also convenient to walk the dog out of the small hill in the courtyard. I ordered noodles and stir-fried vegetables in the evening, which suited my appetite. Breakfast is a bit simple, porridge, steamed buns and pickles, eggs or noodles. Those who are demanding can go to the living area to eat."

"I came to this hotel after hearing great things about it, and it definitely lives up to the hype. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, beautifully designed, and perfect for photos. The facilities are top-notch, with a sophisticated wabi-sabi aesthetic. The rooms are spacious with a well-thought-out layout. The only thing that needs improvement is the service consistency. On the day we arrived, we were quite disappointed with both the lobby and restaurant staff. The waiter at dinner couldn't recommend local dishes and we had to call them over for water refills. Also, during the evening guzheng performance in the lobby, guests weren't offered any tea – it felt quite unprofessional. However, after providing feedback to the hotel the next day, we saw a significant improvement, as if a completely different management team had taken over. A special thank you to Manager Lin and Wang Juli from the restaurant. Manager Lin was attentive to customer suggestions and promptly adjusted the management, adding a human touch to the excellent hardware. Wang Juli from the restaurant was warm, enthusiastic, and highly efficient, which elevated our experience considerably! I hope the hotel continues to strengthen its service management with such 'warmth' to truly justify its pricing."

"I accidentally knew that Datong had a volcano, and accidentally found this treasure camp hotel, so I booked it for one night with the mentality of trying it out, but it became the best experience of this trip. The camp is a volcano-themed hotel, walking distance from Jinshan and Wolfwolf Mountain, and the camp offers free pick-up and drop-off services to easily access both mountains. The room is clean and tidy, with all the toiletries, and there is an astronomical telescope in the room to ”watch the sky at night”. Each room is equipped with an outdoor tent, and the camp provides a full set of tableware and grills to enjoy a barbecue outside. If you don't have your own barbecue ingredients, the service center has pot circle barbecue ingredients for choice. Although the price is slightly higher, it is within acceptable range. Enjoying barbecue food under the stars with your family is definitely one of the most memorable memories of this summer. The camp breakfast combines Chinese and Western, with delicious toast bread, butter, jam and coffee, as well as nutritious boiled eggs, millet porridge and hot milk, and Shanxi specialty knife noodles. The camp service is thoughtful and meticulous, responsive. When barbecue at night, the hotel butler will carefully install a card stove. Especially thanks to Mr. Zhang at the front desk. We are worried about mosquito bites, and Mr. Zhang took the initiative to provide mosquito coils and lighters. It is difficult to call a car when checking out. Mr. Zhang is enthusiastic to help us call a car. I will push it to my friends, especially suitable for families with family trips. It is definitely worth coming to a summer resort."

"As soon as I entered the hotel, the lobby was spacious and bright, and the decoration was particularly stylish, and the instant goodwill was bursting. The front desk staff had a full service attitude. Not only did the check-in speed be fast, but also intimately recommended me interesting places around and introduced the hotel's facilities. "This Geya breakfast is the worst breakfast so far. Geya Hotel is the mid-range hotel in Green. The breakfast does not even have fried rice, fried noodles, and fried eggs. It may be the main reason for receiving tour groups. The hotel does not have high requirements for breakfast quality. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the room are dusty and can be cleaned."

"My daughter and I made plans to see a JJ Lin concert in Beijing. She mentioned the spectacular thousand-year-old wooden pagoda in nearby Datong's Yingxian County, so we decided to visit Datong. When we booked a hotel, we found a fantastic deal, so we booked five nights, only arriving in Beijing for one. Once we arrived, we discovered Datong is truly a gem. The temperature was a comfortable 20 degrees Celsius, and the attractions were breathtaking, from the natural wonders—the earth forests and volcanic clusters—to the cultural and historical attractions—the Yungang Grottoes, the Datong Museum, the Hanging Temple, the wooden pagoda, and the Huayan Temple. I highly recommend this B&B. It's clean, the service is excellent, and the location is fantastic. In the morning, when I opened the curtains, I could see the sunrise over the mountains—a breathtaking view. It's also conveniently located near the train station, just a 10-minute bike ride to the ancient city. The shopping mall is just around the corner, and the famous Long Juxiang is right there—delicious food with no lines. The best part is, I expected the proximity to the train station to be noisy, but it was incredibly quiet. Otherwise, I would have stayed a few more days to catch the concert in Beijing. Datong was the main attraction of this concert trip, and the concert itself took a back seat. I was so happy!"

"After arriving at Yungang Bus Station, we took a taxi to Liu's Courtyard. Our hearts skipped a beat when the driver turned onto a dirt road, but we were surprised to find a hidden gem in the courtyard. Upon entering, we saw lotus buds in the pond, which blossomed beautifully the next day. The hotel is about a kilometer walking distance from the Yungang Grottoes. The rooms are spacious and even have a water dispenser – great! The courtyard has its own canteen with reasonable prices, and we ate there for most of our two days. The canteen gets quite busy, so we recommend making reservations in advance. Five stars mainly for the owner's free shuttle service; we were very grateful, as it gave us ample time to visit the Yungang Grottoes. Friendly reminder: the bathrooms don't have separate wet and dry areas, so please don't wear disposable slippers inside."
