New Hotels in Busan

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I spent days sifting through countless hotels in Busan, and honestly, my eyes were glazing over. I finally settled on this new hotel, mainly because my mom is a bit of a clean freak and needs to wash clothes every day in the summer. This place actually has a washing machine with a dryer in every room, which was a huge plus. It was also the most spacious hotel room I stayed in during my 9-day trip to Korea! It was incredibly clean, and the service was excellent. The hairdryer, bedding, and toiletries were all top-notch, really on par with what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The only downside is that it's not close to any tourist attractions. Getting anywhere fun requires at least a 30-minute subway ride, and navigating the subway signs in Busan can be a bit of a headache. My advice to anyone visiting Busan for tourism, if you're not staying in Haeundae, is to definitely pick this hotel! Oh, and I highly recommend the small BBQ restaurant located just downstairs, out the back door of the hotel. The owner is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and it's excellent value for money."

"Check in is very efficient without needing to register at front desk. All info was given a day before the arrival. Location is perfect just outside Jagalchi station walking distance to BIFF night market street. Room is equipped with plates, bowls and cutlery make it easy if you packed food back and ate in the room. We were lucky the room is facing the sea with a magnificent view."

"This hotel is located one street back from the main road leading from Haeundae Station to the beach. Next door is a convenience store, and the building is called 'Haeundae Avenue'. When you enter, the front desk on the left belongs to a different hotel. For Avenue Haeundae by The Solid Residence, you need to take the elevator at the back up to the 2nd floor and use the self check-in kiosk. (There are three elevators, and all stop on the 2nd floor. It's sometimes the case in Korea that one building houses two hotels.) If you have any questions or need to store luggage before check-in, room 202 next to it serves as the office. The location is super convenient, close to both the station and the beach, with a convenience store right next door. I stayed for 5 nights during the BTS concert period, so the price was a bit higher than usual. However, compared to other hotels, it was still a very reasonable price. The hotel had just been renovated, and some areas in the room had a strong smell. Also, it was disappointing that the cleaning of the floor and dining table was insufficient. All the hotel staff were kind. Only one person spoke English, but they used a translator to understand requests and responded politely. The room is well-equipped for long stays with a mini-kitchen, induction hob, microwave, (pots, pans, kettle, dishes, and even a washing machine – though no dryer, there is a drying rack), making it very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of instructions for remote controls and such. Even after using a translator, I couldn't figure it out and had to call staff for an explanation. There's no daily cleaning service during your stay, but if you ask, they'll collect trash and exchange towels. Otherwise, you have to go to the office to get towels, water, and toilet paper. Because there are two hotels in the same building and each room is managed by a different company, when I asked a cleaning staff member in the hallway to exchange my towels, they told me that my room belonged to a different hotel company and I needed to go to the office. Also, I booked a premium ocean view room, but this hotel is a bit far from the beach, and there are two large buildings between the hotel and the beach. As a result, only a small glimpse of the beach is visible between the buildings, so I feel 'premium ocean view' is a misnomer. Despite these minor issues, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the kind and attentive staff. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Busan."

"This place is super convenient! It's only a 2-minute walk from Jagalchi Station, right next to Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, the pedestrian street, and Busan Tower. Gamcheon Culture Village is also just a 10-minute drive away. The only downside was that the balcony door wouldn't open – and on the second day, there was a big storm. The gap in the door kept making noise all morning, and I couldn't open or close it. Overall, I'm very satisfied; the location gets a perfect 100! Daiso is right across the street too. It's the tallest building in the area, so it's really easy to find."

"They provide mugs and various types of glasses (soju glasses, wine glasses). The location is excellent, and I loved being able to feel the breeze on the balcony. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room had a fantastic electronic wardrobe that I highly recommend trying out. After having Korean BBQ, using it made my clothes smell fresh again. I accidentally left a half-empty bottle of Korean soju in the fridge when checking out. I contacted Trip.com customer service for help, and surprisingly, the hotel gave me a brand new bottle of the same brand of soju. I was incredibly touched and thankful for the assistance from the Trip.com customer service team and the hotel staff's thoughtful and hospitable arrangement."

"I went on a trip with my boyfriend for a long time and stopped by the hostel on the way down! Even on the weekend, thank you for upgraded to a better room than the room we booked ㅎㅎ The bathroom and bathroom were neat and the room itself was spacious! I will visit again next time I have another chance :)"

"I had a great stay at Aank Resort & Spa. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The amenities are complete, and everything I needed was provided. One small downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so I could occasionally hear noise from the neighboring rooms. However, it wasn’t a major issue during my stay. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and it’s also close to the beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing, slow-living getaway, this hotel is a great choice. Overall, I would definitely recommend it."

"The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing! We stayed in a twin-bed room for two, and the space was more than sufficient. There was plenty of storage, and the room was very clean. If I had to pick one thing, it's that there was only one chair. So when my partner and I wanted to relax in the room, one of us had to sit on the bed, which wasn't ideal. I think the room layout could be a bit more thoughtfully designed. However, the staff were all very friendly and made our stay enjoyable! I'd definitely come back!"

"Attend BTS concert over weekend. Hotel Appartment is new and great. Very comfy. Walk 10min to Metro with underpass. 20min to KTX walking on the bridge. 5min to a bustop that can take a bus to J fishmarket. 2 convenient store below. Housekeeping every 2days. But will provide daily change of towels. Heated floor. But washer without dryer function and not drying facilities. Bring some extra clothes hanger, as not provided for the 2nd room. Filtered Water machine and nepresso machine is great. Huge TV with lots of channel. Hopefully the road construction done and will shorten 10min of walk from KTX to hotel . See you next time."

"Staying at 'Mugeum Gwangalli' during my Busan trip was truly the best decision ever! LOL. I didn't expect much since it was a dormitory, but I was relieved throughout my stay because it was much cleaner and more pleasant than I anticipated. Most importantly, the location is amazing. It's close to the subway station, and as soon as you step out of the alley, you're right at Gwangalli Beach, making getting around super convenient. The strict separation of male and female dorms allowed me to relax comfortably, and the independent single-person cabin structure meant I could sleep cozily without feeling self-conscious. The view was also so beautiful that I enjoyed a relaxing time watching the night scenery. If I had known the value for money was this good, I would have come sooner. Thanks to this, I'm romantically wrapping up the beauty of Busan at Mugeum. I will definitely revisit if I come to Busan again!"
