"We had a wonderful stay at H Avenue Haeundae for 2 days. Everything was perfect — the reception staff was kind, friendly, and able to speak English well. We also appreciated being allowed to check in shortly after arriving at the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The facilities were convenient, and the hotel even provided drinks, coffee, and instant noodles. The laundry room was also very useful and well-maintained. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Standard Bread (3 minutes), Haeundae Station (10–12 minutes), Haeundae Beach, and the Blue Line Sky Capsule (20-25 minutes). I truly enjoyed the excellent service and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Busan, and we will definitely come back again next time!"

"The ocean view, hotel location, and accessibility were all very satisfying, but everything else was a really disappointing experience. First, when I opened the refrigerator, there was leftover ice cream from the previous guest, and the wine glasses I took out to use also had visible water stains that clearly weren't from cleaning. While I can overlook the towels to some extent, they still had yellowish stains in several spots. The great view and location are huge advantages, but it makes me wonder if they're relying too much on those strengths and neglecting proper maintenance. I didn't expect a super luxurious hotel, but from the bathroom to various other areas, it just looks like a renovated motel. There were no complimentary amenities provided either (I'm not sure if they're for purchase). If the view hadn't been good, I would have asked for a refund after paying over 300,000 won. But the view really was excellent."

"My husband and I first visited this place 20 years ago, and we just returned with our kids for a 3-night, 4-day trip. My husband usually handles planning and reservations, and he booked this hotel because it was new. I was a bit excited but also worried about how it would be. As soon as we stepped in, the owner and staff greeted us warmly and kindly explained all the facilities. We split into two rooms. Even though it's right in front of Busan Station, it was quiet, and we slept soundly. The cleaning service was daily, and the drinks in the fridge, along with the constantly accessible mini-bar on the first floor, were excellent. The Busan fish cakes for breakfast were absolutely delicious! The owner was incredibly kind and resolved any issues we had right away. Before we left, they held our luggage, which allowed us to enjoy the afternoon with the kids without any hassle. We enjoyed the snacks they gave us on the train. We'll definitely be back soon; the kids loved it too! The owner mentioned opening a second branch soon – we wish them great success!"

Park Hyatt Busan

【Park Hyatt Busan】Stayed in the 'sailboat' of Haeundae, where the floor-to-ceiling windows framed Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of the sea breeze and the city lights, experiencing both relaxation and luxury. Environment: The hotel's location is relatively quiet with fantastic views. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a noodle shop and two great cafes very close by, which was quite convenient for a tourist. Facilities: Very new, especially the stunning view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I didn't even want to close the curtains at night! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: Excellent.

This is a relatively new hotel located at the entrance to Haeundae Beach. The location is decent, though you do have to cross a road with two traffic lights. If you're unlucky, you might wait 90 to 120 seconds, but it's still very close. The side sea view is just okay; you need to be right by the window to see the beach, but it's nice on a clear day. It was very busy during the summer holidays, and our room (01 02) wasn't cleaned by 2 PM, but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I had a pleasant stay at Lotte Hotel Busan. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and public transport, making it a great base for exploring Busan. The front desk staff handled the check-in process professionally and efficiently, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The housekeeping team also provided excellent service throughout our stay. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the beautiful street view of Busan City from our room. The complimentary Nespresso coffee maker was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The only area that could be improved is the bath towels, which seemed a little old and overly soft. Replacing them with newer towels would further enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Busan.

This feels like a luxury hotel, but the substance is lacking… 1. **No in-room phone.** If I wanted to call the front desk, I had to use my own phone to find the number in the booklet and dial it. 2. **Low floors are… well.** The 'ocean view' was useless. Some building's water tank and a Holly's coffee shop blocked most of it. I had to crawl on the floor, taking 5,000 photos, to get just one decent shot. So, if you're on a low floor, you'll have to crawl to see the ocean! Okay, maybe this is my fault for not paying more for a higher floor. BUT, the room photos in the introduction made it seem like there was an unobstructed ocean view, which feels like a scam. There weren't many hotel reviews, so I couldn't have known. I feel cheated. 3. **The biggest problem is privacy.** The toilet faces a window, and the jacuzzi and shower are also in front of full-length windows. Since it's a low floor, you can make eye contact with people in the cafe across the street. My bathroom breaks, showers, and jacuzzi use could all be public! I don't know if the windows are meant to be covered, but it felt very awkward. I had to keep the blinds fully down to use the bathroom and jacuzzi, which defeats the purpose of an 'ocean view' and felt very stifling. They told me not to close the jacuzzi window because of humidity, but the shower is right there, and I almost froze showering! Seriously, you'd think they'd put more thought into the design, even beyond the ocean view… 4. **The room is so big, but there are no mirrors anywhere** you’d expect one! Only the bathroom mirror, which made doing makeup and getting dressed in the morning incredibly inconvenient. 5. **I used a barrier-free room, but as an able-bodied person, I didn't feel any consideration for disabled guests.** Even I, a seasoned traveler in my 20s, had trouble distinguishing between the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I almost ran out of hot water in the shower trying to figure it out. The labels are tiny and on the back somewhere, so you have to really search. Couldn't they use dedicated bottles or at least proper labeling? 6. **There's no room service or similar services, but other services are expensive.** Maybe I just couldn't find it, but usually, hotel F&B services are in the in-room booklet, aren't they? There was nothing. Okay, maybe because it's a lower-star hotel, it wouldn't have it. BUT, late check-out extension costs 33,000 won (which isn't cheaper than other luxury hotels). So, the standard doesn't reach luxury hotel levels, but the service fees feel comparable to one. Breakfast also felt similar, so I didn't use it. Considering all of this, if you're just looking for a cost-effective place, it's okay.

I stayed here over the weekend, and it seemed like most of the nearby rooms were also fully booked. However, because it's a residential-style hotel, the noise from upstairs or next door, like in an apartment building, was quite bothersome, and I couldn't really relax. I could clearly hear footsteps thumping, whether it was from the room above or next door, and I even woke up to them in the morning. I could also hear furniture being dragged around. Since the rooms have hardwood floors and no slippers are provided, the sound of people walking heavily echoes throughout. If you're sensitive to noise, please keep this in mind when booking. I think it was even worse for me because all the rooms above and next to mine were occupied.

I was satisfied with cleanliness until the last day when I noticed that my sheets had what seemed like dried blood on them. Location is amazing but that’s also why it’s a popular choice for tourists. Getting an elevator from 8-10am and 6-8ish was rough. But loved the location! Service is average, nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either which is not a bad thing at all. Pleased with the hotel amenities fitness centre but the room amenities seemed like it was setup with just the bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a larger mirror outside the bathroom or even have a light for the small mirror inside the cabinet. Fridge was very small - could not fit takeout containers without turning them sideways. Shampoo, conditioner and body products all seemed pretty cheaply made. Shampoo didn’t even foam up and conditioner felt no different than hand soap. We’re at a different hotel now and after using their products for one night my hair actually seems healthier than when I was back home.

Baymond is situated in a perfect location. We were in a walking distance to many restaurants, the beach and convenience stores. The rooms are on the smaller side. Interior could be upgraded as it is a bit old. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a lovely rooftop pool and sauna on site. Pool and jacuzzi are overlooking the beach and the busy streets of Haeundae. Places to check out nearby: Busan x the sky, olive young, hot pot spots, Indian restaurants, baskin robins for some ice cream If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable hotel Baymond is a good choice.

This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient and prime location. It's super close to the subway station, roughly 200 meters away, and just across the street is the beach! Our room even had a sea view, and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Downstairs, it's bustling with lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a market street. It's a truly perfect place to stay, and I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Busan.

If you're looking for great photo opportunities, this is the place to stay. The facilities are just okay, and I imagine it would be even better in the summer. There are several good restaurants nearby, and the Haeundae train station is right downstairs. However, I honestly recommend just taking a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk – it's really pleasant.
