【Park Hyatt Busan】Stayed in the 'sailboat' of Haeundae, where the floor-to-ceiling windows framed Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of the sea breeze and the city lights, experiencing both relaxation and luxury.
Environment: The hotel's location is relatively quiet with fantastic views. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a noodle shop and two great cafes very close by, which was quite convenient for a tourist.
Facilities: Very new, especially the stunning view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I didn't even want to close the curtains at night!
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Service: Excellent.

Anonymous UserThis is a relatively new hotel located at the entrance to Haeundae Beach. The location is decent, though you do have to cross a road with two traffic lights. If you're unlucky, you might wait 90 to 120 seconds, but it's still very close.
The side sea view is just okay; you need to be right by the window to see the beach, but it's nice on a clear day.
It was very busy during the summer holidays, and our room (01 02) wasn't cleaned by 2 PM, but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

FrederickyeoI had a pleasant stay at Lotte Hotel Busan. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and public transport, making it a great base for exploring Busan.
The front desk staff handled the check-in process professionally and efficiently, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The housekeeping team also provided excellent service throughout our stay.
The king-size bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the beautiful street view of Busan City from our room. The complimentary Nespresso coffee maker was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
The only area that could be improved is the bath towels, which seemed a little old and overly soft. Replacing them with newer towels would further enhance the overall guest experience.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Busan.

Posted onJan 30, 2026|Ocean Deluxe Suite Barrier Free
서녕inThis feels like a luxury hotel, but the substance is lacking…
1. **No in-room phone.** If I wanted to call the front desk, I had to use my own phone to find the number in the booklet and dial it.
2. **Low floors are… well.** The 'ocean view' was useless. Some building's water tank and a Holly's coffee shop blocked most of it. I had to crawl on the floor, taking 5,000 photos, to get just one decent shot. So, if you're on a low floor, you'll have to crawl to see the ocean! Okay, maybe this is my fault for not paying more for a higher floor. BUT, the room photos in the introduction made it seem like there was an unobstructed ocean view, which feels like a scam. There weren't many hotel reviews, so I couldn't have known. I feel cheated.
3. **The biggest problem is privacy.** The toilet faces a window, and the jacuzzi and shower are also in front of full-length windows. Since it's a low floor, you can make eye contact with people in the cafe across the street. My bathroom breaks, showers, and jacuzzi use could all be public! I don't know if the windows are meant to be covered, but it felt very awkward. I had to keep the blinds fully down to use the bathroom and jacuzzi, which defeats the purpose of an 'ocean view' and felt very stifling. They told me not to close the jacuzzi window because of humidity, but the shower is right there, and I almost froze showering!
Seriously, you'd think they'd put more thought into the design, even beyond the ocean view…
4. **The room is so big, but there are no mirrors anywhere** you’d expect one! Only the bathroom mirror, which made doing makeup and getting dressed in the morning incredibly inconvenient.
5. **I used a barrier-free room, but as an able-bodied person, I didn't feel any consideration for disabled guests.** Even I, a seasoned traveler in my 20s, had trouble distinguishing between the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I almost ran out of hot water in the shower trying to figure it out. The labels are tiny and on the back somewhere, so you have to really search. Couldn't they use dedicated bottles or at least proper labeling?
6. **There's no room service or similar services, but other services are expensive.** Maybe I just couldn't find it, but usually, hotel F&B services are in the in-room booklet, aren't they? There was nothing. Okay, maybe because it's a lower-star hotel, it wouldn't have it. BUT, late check-out extension costs 33,000 won (which isn't cheaper than other luxury hotels). So, the standard doesn't reach luxury hotel levels, but the service fees feel comparable to one. Breakfast also felt similar, so I didn't use it.
Considering all of this, if you're just looking for a cost-effective place, it's okay.

Guest UserI stayed here over the weekend, and it seemed like most of the nearby rooms were also fully booked. However, because it's a residential-style hotel, the noise from upstairs or next door, like in an apartment building, was quite bothersome, and I couldn't really relax. I could clearly hear footsteps thumping, whether it was from the room above or next door, and I even woke up to them in the morning. I could also hear furniture being dragged around. Since the rooms have hardwood floors and no slippers are provided, the sound of people walking heavily echoes throughout. If you're sensitive to noise, please keep this in mind when booking. I think it was even worse for me because all the rooms above and next to mine were occupied.

I was satisfied with cleanliness until the last day when I noticed that my sheets had what seemed like dried blood on them.
Location is amazing but that’s also why it’s a popular choice for tourists. Getting an elevator from 8-10am and 6-8ish was rough. But loved the location!
Service is average, nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either which is not a bad thing at all.
Pleased with the hotel amenities fitness centre but the room amenities seemed like it was setup with just the bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a larger mirror outside the bathroom or even have a light for the small mirror inside the cabinet. Fridge was very small - could not fit takeout containers without turning them sideways. Shampoo, conditioner and body products all seemed pretty cheaply made. Shampoo didn’t even foam up and conditioner felt no different than hand soap.
We’re at a different hotel now and after using their products for one night my hair actually seems healthier than when I was back home.

Baymond is situated in a perfect location. We were in a walking distance to many restaurants, the beach and convenience stores.
The rooms are on the smaller side. Interior could be upgraded as it is a bit old.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
There is a lovely rooftop pool and sauna on site. Pool and jacuzzi are overlooking the beach and the busy streets of Haeundae.
Places to check out nearby: Busan x the sky, olive young, hot pot spots, Indian restaurants, baskin robins for some ice cream
If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable hotel Baymond is a good choice.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts an incredibly convenient and prime location. It's super close to the subway station, roughly 200 meters away, and just across the street is the beach! Our room even had a sea view, and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Downstairs, it's bustling with lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a market street. It's a truly perfect place to stay, and I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Busan.

LiqifengIf you're looking for great photo opportunities, this is the place to stay. The facilities are just okay, and I imagine it would be even better in the summer. There are several good restaurants nearby, and the Haeundae train station is right downstairs. However, I honestly recommend just taking a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk – it's really pleasant.
