Excellent location just behind black pork street and a few streets from the market area with the coast just across the road. In serious need of some maintainence, interior door didn’t shut correctly, cracks and holes in floor tiles in the bathroom. Mirrored window instead of curtains. Well equipped with amenities and friendly staff available

The place was a bit dirty when we arrived, hair in the bathroom in the sink and some stains on the walls as well. Walls are extremely thin, you can hear people outside of your room and your neighbors enjoying their night. For the price I paid, I’m not going to complain. However, the workers were extremely nice, if you don’t mind the transportation time, I would recommend.

Overall, the night view was great and the location near the beach was a plus. However, I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't watch YouTube on the TV because of an error. I hope they check the TV. Also, it seemed like the master key was used, but the room wasn't tidied up immediately, and things were left as they were, which made me think they only clean after check-out. Despite that, I had a comfortable stay.

This hotel provides the basic amenities that you will need. The hotel was more like a boutique hotel located along a restaurant district. It provides good access to the subway and the grand Lotte mall. Unlike what people had commented, the hotel was easy to locate. We were greeted by a beautiful row of cherry blossom trees the week of our stay. The owner of the hotel was very responsive to our needs and gave us what we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had difficulty trying to hang out clothes or bath towels in the bathroom as there are no hanging bars or hooks. There is also no shower curtain so do request for more floor towels to prevent the water from getting to other areas of the bathroom. The host had found a side table for us to use in the bathroom. A point to note is that you would need to climb a flight of stairs to get to your room. The owner was very kind to help us carry our luggage to our room. The hotel is not for the fussy. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent not expensive option, clean, quiet, quiet. Women with low social responsibility are led to the first floor. Big towels weren 't in the room.

Some of the amenities had already been opened, and the shower is right next to the toilet, so you have to be careful not to get the toilet wet when showering. However, the front desk staff were very polite and left a good impression. The hotel is located in a love hotel district, and I was a bit scared walking alone at night, but the hotel room itself was spacious and comfortable.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and basic amenities. Some rooms also offer a nice view of the city and harbor, which is a bonus. The staff were friendly and accommodating — check-in was smooth, and they were always ready to assist with directions or local recommendations. One thing to note is that the hotel sits on a slope, so if you’re walking from Busan Station, the uphill path can be a bit tiring especially with luggage. However, taxis are easily available and affordable for the short trip. For the price, Hillside Hotel provides good value, especially for travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly stay close to the heart of Busan. I stayed here just a few days before, and chose to stay here yet again after coming back from an excursion to Busan. The self check-in process is smooth even after the check-in counter is closed at late night. Perfect location if you arrive into Seoul train station at midnight, either from Korail or airport train. Even if all metros lines are closed. You can just walk to the guesthouse within 10 mins from Seoul station. During the day, there is a metro station at your doorsteps connecting to Seoul Station in 1 stop. The room is clean and warm. The owner is very friendly.

I stayed here for an extended period with my wife and our 3- and 4-year-old children. There's a convenience store, a tonkatsu restaurant, and a pizza place nearby, so it was great for the kids. My family and I walked to the laundromat to do our laundry. It's a little far, but it's a good place to stop by on your way out for dinner.
