The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is great, as it is close to all the public transport, which is easily accessible from there. The hotel provided towels and bathrobes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, however the basic items like toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, shower cap, etc. you had to buy yourself. The breakfast was was sub standard, didn’t cater for foreigners. They could have added more than just the one fruit, yogurt, some pastries instead of just sweet bread.

Modern hotel, nice decor, plenty of facilities (extra charge required), poor service. Swimming pool, sauna, gym all require additional charge or are only included with premium rooms and above. The facilities are great and gym is of a commercial level. Hotel staff were not very welcoming and rather depressed.
Even though the hotel is in the city center, it's not really near any of the main spots you'd want to check out. We ended up taking a 30-minute taxi ride every day just to see the sights, which was a bit of a hassle.

Of all the hotels we've stayed at so far during our 1.5 month trip across Asia this one had by far the best view 😍 – so if given the chance make sure to book a high floor room with ocean view… here it's really worth it! We were also satisfied with the other aspects of our room, especially how comfortable the bed was.
The only mild annoyance were the elevators which were always crowded, given that there were only 3 of them for 30+ floors.

We booked last minute due to last minute travel plans changing. So we were only there for one night. I think we got the “spare” room as it was available before our check in time. The room was a bit shabby - a bit dusty, dirty cup, tea wasn’t replenished, room looked a bit worn. But it was last minute on a Saturday, so hopefully for your stay you get a better put together room. Staff were super friendly and we loved the night and morning view from the room!!

The infinity pool was unforgettable.
Haeundae Beach, numerous restaurants, and a monorail station for tours were all within walking distance from the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.
The staff were professional and kind. I was welcomed with Korean tea and small sweet bites.
Everything was wonderful, with nothing to complain about.

I had a wonderful stay at Grab the Ocean. Although I opted for the city view room, I was treated to a glimpse of the beautiful beach from my window.
The service at the hotel was truly top-notch. The staff were friendly and that made it easy for me to be comfortable and enjoy every moments.
I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was absolutely mouth-watering! The menu offered a great selection of options, and the quality of the dishes was exceptional. The staff members? they served me so well. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable.
Overall, I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Busan. The combination of great service, delicious food, and stunning views makes it truly an unbeatable choice!

Location is about 15 min slow walk from Haeundae Station. Booked the standard room -23 sq metres. The room size is perfect for solo travellers. May be tight for a couple. I like the layout, a retractable door to partition the bathroom and sleeping area. Nice and cozy. The breakfast is reasonably priced - perfect for me as I really only need eggs, bread, butter, jam, milk and orange juice to start my day. They’ve got all that I need;). Haeundae beach, traditional market, Mipo are all a short walk away..not mentioning the sea aquarium etc. enjoyed my stay at Fairfield.;)

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was just across the Busan Station 1 and walking distance to most establishments. Though the room including the toilet&bath is small, it is complete with amenities (like Japanese style). Hot and cold showers, bathtub, hair blower, water heater for coffee and tea, slippers, small vault for valuables. They provided toiletries and pajamas (just collect at the lobby area). Note: toothbrush and toothpaste not included. No cabinet but can place your luggage under the bed. Free breakfast. No microwave inside the room but at the lobby area where you can have water, coffee and tea from the vending machine. They have a laundry area too so you cannot bring much clothes. The only downside for me is that, check-in time is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, so better adjust and manage your timing. You can leave your luggage at the reception area if you arrive so early. So far, I had a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing sleep during my stay. Cleanliness was never questionable. I look forward to staying here again.

If you like Korean BBQ, there’s an outlet just outside on the main road, second shop on the left - you’ll see an uncle preparing pork ribs outside in a glass structure joining the restaurant.. SUPER SUPER, we had bbq 3 nights in a row.
The hotel itself was cozy with big rooms and very helpful staff at the front desk. You can pick as much amenities from the reception for your stay, even had condoms in the amenities kits (doesn’t mean it’s a shady place)

Verry good! Location is near Choryang Station (exit 12 with stairs and elevator between exit 8 and 10) and bus stops. The room is big enough for 3 people, clean and tidy, the staff speaks English verry well and supportive. However they forgot to provide us 3 bottles of water on the first day staying, so we thought that the hotel does not provide free water and ended up buying a lots of water. Then the next day when they cleaned our room, 3 bottles of water were placed on the table. Early check in is not allowed (check in time is 4 p.m.) But overall it was really nice staying in this hotel.

CChrisThis is the most American hotel I’ve been to outside of America. By this I mean that they’ll cut an exponential amount of corners to cut costs. Small rooms, small towels, no free toothbrushes/toothpaste, lackluster wifi, no smart toilet, old TV, denied request for free late checkout. Lobby has a warehouse atmosphere.
On the other hand this property has some strengths. You can’t beat the location, down near the end of the main Hyundae Beach street. The bathtub was big. Staff spoke excellent English.
Overall I feel let down by this space and I’d recommend checking out other options before settling here

QQueena LaiThis is a treasure accommodation. Although it is an old hotel, it has been newly renovated. The price for a two-bed (a pair and a single) room is very cost-effective. You can also get a 10gb eSIM for less than NT$200 per week. The uncle at the counter is very kind and friendly. He said that he has a bow The room was noisy and the quiet room did not have a view. My mother and I were asked to choose room 1 from the 2 rooms. We were given room cards to go upstairs to see the room before choosing. We chose a room with a view. The equipment looked newer and we could keep up with the situation. I borrowed an electrical adapter at the counter. There is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient. It is also very close to Busanjin Station to take the subway. I stayed for four nights and it was cleaned every day. However, the bed covers were not replaced. Except for the water in the toilet, I had to wait for almost ten minutes. It took a while to get hot water, which is rare. There are many restaurants in nearby alleys. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last night.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel.
Room:
I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area.

If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night.
Staff & Hospitality:
Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected.
Overall Impression:
Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. GGuest UserI stayed here just a few days before, and chose to stay here yet again after coming back from an excursion to Busan. The self check-in process is smooth even after the check-in counter is closed at late night. Perfect location if you arrive into Seoul train station at midnight, either from Korail or airport train. Even if all metros lines are closed. You can just walk to the guesthouse within 10 mins from Seoul station.
