"The B&B is conveniently located close to the parking lot, so there's no need for further transportation. The room is spacious, and all the cups and towels are disposable, ensuring great cleanliness. The room itself is wide with an expansive view. The landlady is very welcoming, and the food she cooks is absolutely delicious. It's a shame that Jinkeng wasn't irrigated during our visit; perhaps Ping'an Village set our expectations too high with its beautiful scenery. After taking the cable car up, we were quite disappointed, and consequently, we didn't want to visit the other two platforms the next day."
Qingshan No. 1 Longji Courtyard
"We made a last-minute decision to stay within the scenic area and luckily snagged a room at Qingshan No. 1 B&B, avoiding the crowds. The environment is absolutely superb, with stunning views right outside our window. We could admire the rice terraces from every angle, and they even upgraded our room! At 5:30 PM, we immediately took our child to participate in the B&B's fish-catching activity, which was a fantastic experience. With the owner's help, both adults and children managed to catch some rice fish. We had dinner right at the B&B, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a set meal, complete with rice noodles, whole grains, and soy milk."

"Our trip to Longji Terraces was truly heartwarming! The guesthouse was clean and comfortable, with amazing views. The owner was incredibly kind and enthusiastic; after we got lost in the mountains, he not only drove to pick us up but also helped us find a ride and escorted us all the way back to the guesthouse. To top it all off, he even upgraded us to a mountain view room for free! We could just lie in bed and enjoy the beautiful terraced landscapes. The experience was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend!"

"The room was decent, and the location was good too, with a shuttle service from the parking lot to the B&B. The cooking was also quite good. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up yourself, which might be an issue for women with a lot of bags. You can't expect too much from a B&B, so it was acceptable."

"We loved our stay at the hotel! It is immersed in the rice terraces and it is very easy to go to the panoramic areas nearby. The hotel is located within 5-7 minutes walk from the cable car but the owner came to pick us up at the parking lot. We felt very welcome by the hotel staff, a lovely family :) We had dinner there and had amazing food, freshly prepared for us :) we tried the bamboo rice, a specialty of the area, very delicious! If I come back to the rice terraces I would like to stay in this hotel again as it was very quiet and calm. When we left the owner gave us some gifts and took us back to the parking lot on time to catch the bus back to Guilin."

"Highly recommended! The service is excellent, and it's perfect if you're driving as there's a car park right below the hotel, just a few steps away. Staff even help with luggage. The rice wine is absolutely delicious. Plus, they give you a souvenir upon check-out, which includes local specialty black tea and two bottles of rice wine."

The hotel is very clean and new, the butler service is super good, the reply is timely and meticulous 👍 The food is delicious, there is welcome fruit, afternoon tea in the afternoon, and good night sugar water after dinner ～ The decoration style feels like the most online aesthetic in the scenic homestay, and there are supporting swimming pools, bar counters, and tea tables in the public area; Most importantly, the room has a great view, you can see the whole terraces and stockades, and you don't even have to go to the observation deck! "It rained quite a bit in May, and it was raining when we visited, but the misty Longsheng had its own unique charm. The hotel was incredibly photogenic 📷. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the little details were well thought out. We stayed in a family room with a smart toilet 🚽 and Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures. The water pressure and temperature were stable, and they even provided a children's step stool at the sink. The toiletries were also of great quality 👍. The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor with affordable prices and good food. I recommend dining at the hotel, as guests get a discount. Parking is convenient 🅿️; you can park right in front of the hotel, which makes it easy to unload luggage. The hotel also has an elevator 🛗, making it a comfortable and easy stay with kids, very suitable for family travel."

The dinner at the hotel is also delicious, and the dishes recommended by the waiter are also very suitable. I thought it was just a casual night stay in the middle of a tiring journey. I didn’t expect that 300+ would allow the children to live in a Doraemon-themed room, as well as small tents and equipment. Very new and clean, really great value."

Xia Tiruijing Homestay (Longji Jinkeng Daguzhai Terrace Observation Deck)
"Great place to relax and chill. It's very close to the 1st viewpoint. We were unfortunate that the only road to this homestay was closed for renovation during working hours and we could only stay in the homestay instead of going out to explore other viewpoints. (Technically some people still walk across the renovation site by climbing up the piled up sand but we had an elder person so we didn't). Personally feel that should be handled better but it probably isn't what the homestay can control."

"Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists."
Shifa Jinglou Farmhouse（Longsheng Longji Terraced Fields Hotel）
"The room facilities were complete, and it's a good guesthouse in the scenic area. We chose this guesthouse because we wanted to see the terraced fields from the room. The room price was acceptable, not expensive, but it's a bit remote and parking is difficult. We originally thought it was a suite, but it wasn't partitioned by walls; it was an open-plan space. We later booked a more luxurious single room. The toilet had an automatic flush, and the bathroom had a heater. The price was reasonable, and the owner was very kind. The view of the terraced fields from the window was also very close. Our only guesthouse owner, Mr. Wang, enjoyed this treatment. We felt reassured after settling him in, and even our travel companion, another driver, envied him. With such generous treatment, the landlady was quite nice and offered free rice wine, but it was too sweet for us. Later, she brought out several other flavors of rice wine, but none of them seemed to suit our tastes. We ate rice noodles for breakfast for two days, which was reasonably priced, but lunch and dinner were very expensive, even the dishes were pricey. For our two nights, the landlady also provided us with four sets of local Yao and Miao costumes for free. Before leaving, everyone took some photos to look good, and two beautiful sisters even taught themselves a Miao dance. We took nearly a thousand selfies, and the landlady also helped take some. Overall, it was okay, but the prices were high."

"We had a wonderful stay as the owners were lovely and really helpful. They helped us get the tickets and information for the bus back to Guilin, which was great as we do not speak Chinese. The food was really good as well. While there the place is really close to amazing viewing spots of the rice terraces, we did not have a full view of them from our room. During breakfast on the highest floor balcony we did have a wonderful view."

"I really liked the hot springs and the remote location with direct (and free) access to the hot springs. The beds(Japanese style) were incredibly hard though and other guests around were very loud both in evening and early morning. The rooms could also use some refurbishment."

"After visiting Jinfoding, we chose to stay at this guesthouse, and it proved to be an excellent choice. The guesthouse is conveniently situated along the path to Viewing Platform No. 2. The owner even transports luggage directly to the guesthouse via a dedicated cable car. You can dine right at the guesthouse, and the proprietress's cooking is excellent. For breakfast, they serve rice noodles, sweet potatoes, and eggs – simple, delicious, and nutritious. The guesthouse's location is superb; the views of the entire terraced fields from the guesthouse are breathtaking. It's truly admirable how well they've managed and maintained this guesthouse under such challenging conditions; they clearly put a lot of heart into it. If you're visiting the terraced fields, I highly recommend staying here."

Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Longji Rice Terraces. Thank you to the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable."
