GGuest UserThe views from our room were absolutely stunning! The place was spotlessly clean, and the room's furnishings and facilities were excellent. The plums grown by the owner were incredibly delicious; I took two to try when we left and immediately regretted not buying more to snack on during our drive. The guesthouse also served excellent meals, and the prices were very reasonable. Our family of seven all had a fantastic experience. The guesthouse's location is truly unbeatable; it seems to be the only inn situated closest to the No. 2 Heavenly Ladder viewpoint. We only realized after arriving at Longji that booking an inn in the wrong location can be incredibly inconvenient.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better everything was within walking distance, which made exploring rice fields so easy and enjoyable.
The hotel itself was spotless and very comfortable, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help us with tips and recommendations. They made us feel truly welcome from start to finish.

The owner was incredibly friendly, chatted with us like a friend, and even gave us recommendations for fun places and delicious food around here. GGuest UserThe family who run are very accommodating and friendly. They’re on the lower part of the village which is good because not so many stairs to climb up to reach them, but the view is just the side of the rice terraces not overlooking them all. They helped us carry our bags up and were quick to supply us with whatever we were lacking. The rooms were very clean and new, nice woodsy smell, and excellent views of greenery outside. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the evening, it’s so quiet and dark with the sounds of a small waterfall and frogs. She made us breakfast according to our time schedule, really delicious traditional rice noodles with fried eggs. We had dinner there one evening too and really liked her style of cooking. We all agreed it was the best rice we’ve had in China! I would definitely recommend staying!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

GGuest UserOur log cabin was incredibly comfortable, nestled halfway up the mountain and conveniently close to Viewing Platform #2. Our room even had a small balcony, and there's also a communal viewing deck on the ground floor offering truly stunning views. The owner was wonderfully hospitable, providing enthusiastic pick-up and drop-off service. And the meals were absolutely delicious!

GGuest UserThe name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this!
But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here.
Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

GGuest UserAll these photos were taken from the balcony of the B&B! ! The owner of the B&B is very hospitable and the food is super delicious. I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !
