A beautiful hotel in a perfect location with exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. A very short walk from the top of the rice terraces and the views as well as a great starting point for long walks. The staff were wonderful throughout the stay, even though it was a very busy time (Chinese new year), they went out of their way for anything that I needed. The breakfast was amazing every day and the food ordered at the hotel was perfect. Completely recommend staying here for anyone who is in the area.

The B&B is in the scenic area. You need to buy a ticket to the scenic area before entering. It takes 40 to 50 minutes to walk to the top of the terraced field. You can choose to take the cable car to see bigger and higher scenery. The B&B is in Dayao Village. A few hundred meters down is the cable car. The room is spacious and bright, cost-effective, and the boss is very enthusiastic. You can see the terraced fields from the room. There is a balcony. It is very comfortable to enjoy the breeze and the scenery on the balcony. We felt very uncomfortable, really as if we were bothering someone. I have never experienced anything like this before. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is not good. Expensive for the service they offer. We had to ask for things for breakfast if they didn't give us anything. They wanted to charge me for a glass of milk for my daughter and finally they didn't charge me. I guess they realized that we were in a bad way. We asked them for bread and they bought us some. Longji is worth it, but the choice of hotel greatly overshadowed the experience.

We took special bus from Yangshuo straight to Dazhai, then the owner had someone fetch us from DaZhai parking lot and drove a few minutes to the parking lot nearest their hotel. How did we book and organize this? We simply contacted the hotel via WeChat and they helped arrange everything for us.
15min hike, and we are in the hotel. No elevator, but there was a cable car that carried our stuff up to the mountain. The room was fantastic, the location was superb, the food was good. Even if you do not leave the hotel and just stayed inside the room, you'll have a fantastic time.
Water is from spring so it's fresh and potable. You can wash your clothes for free but depending on the season, it may take a long time to dry. They don't have dryer and we could only hang our clothes.
View from the room is good, and going up to the viewing platform only takes around 6 minutes.

The round bed room is pretty cool. It gives a view over Seven Stars with Moon. We enjoyed very much the traditional Yao’s style architecture. The building and the rooms are all made of wood. The food in the hotel restaurant is tasty esp. the chicken in bamboo. The owners are hospitable. They provided a lot of useful information like the instruction to get to DaZhai, what are nicest viewing spots and how to get PinAn by hiking.

I booked a room at Wangyuelou B&B online, and I was instantly ”captive”. The room was called a clean and elegant, spotless as if a fairy had just performed a cleaning magic. Every corner exudes a warm atmosphere, which makes me a traveler who is drifting outside feel at home in an instant. Lying on the soft bed, I doubted that I had accidentally slept in the clouds, so comfortable that I didn't remember it at all! Besides, the food here is a soul-searching, and my taste buds danced happily on the tip of my tongue. My appetite, already numb by the city's fast food, was completely awakened here.
But the surprise of Wangyuelou B&B is far more than that. During the day, I went to see the performance of Changfa Village, which is the first village in the world. In the afternoon, I went to the field with the sister of the owner of the hotel to catch fish. I thought I would be a ”fishing master”, but I was played by the slippery little fish. But under the guidance of the boss and sister, I finally managed to catch a few fish, although covered with mud, but my heart was happy. At night, wow, the holiday fireworks bloomed in the sky, the gorgeous color and the bright light illuminated the night sky. I stood in the yard of the hotel, with my head back and mouth open, like a child who had never seen the world, and was deeply shocked by this beautiful scene.
In short, during this time at Wangyuelou B&B, I had a super happy and super satisfying time. Everything here makes me linger. If I can, I really want to ”weld” myself here and not go! Sometimes when booking hotels the photos versus reality is not quite the same, but in this case I would say it was exactly what the pictures show, maybe even better! The hotel was also right next to the hike up to viewing platform #2 which was very convenient since we only had a short while in Longji. The staff were friendly and welcoming, really going out of their way to help us when needed. There was also a place to do laundry and a steam dryer which was very handy. If we are ever back in Longji, we would definitely come back here!

Location: Longji Rice Terraces - Ping'an Ancient Village - Kowloon Five Tigers 🐯 Observation Deck (there will be arrow prompts ➡️ prompts 🔔 from the B&B to the Observation Deck).
Service 🎎: The service is really nothing to say. When we arrived at the attraction at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, the boss came down from the B&B and drove to pick us up. When we left the next day, we sent him to the parking area of the attraction. The people are super nice and will share information about some attractions with you.
Facilities: They are relatively new and comfortable to live in. There are different room types. You can watch the sunrise🌅sunset🌄 on the terraces at 270 degrees. The price/performance ratio is also very high. You can take some beautiful scenery without going out.
Environment: The design is quite comfortable😌 and has a sense of atmosphere. You can have breakfast and lunch on the first floor. The hotel room has a super large balcony. When you get up in the morning and open the floor-to-ceiling curtains and doors, you can feel the gifts of nature.
Food 🥘: Finally, I have to mention the cooking skills of the proprietress, especially the Amway bamboo tube chicken, one chicken can be eaten twice, bamboo tube rice 🍚, and small wild vegetables. GGuest UserThe hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces.
The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village.
The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable.
The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water.
The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town.
The free breakfast was very simple.
All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located at the highest point of Jinkeng Dazhai, with the largest terraced field area. The sunrise in Rizhao Longji is super perfect. The hotel restaurant has good food and reasonable prices. The biggest disadvantage is the chaos of luggage check-in. During the National Day, the flow of people was very large. On the first day, it took more than two hours to enter the scenic area 1 km. On the second day, when I left early in the morning, all the customers walked down from the hotel, but the luggage was gone. I waited for the luggage at the luggage transfer area for half an hour. The traffic management of the scenic area is chaotic, and it is congested in and out. It is really not recommended during the long holidays.

GGuest UserI found this B&B online. Thanks to the owner for upgrading the room. The scenery is so beautiful. I can't get enough of the fried bamboo shoots. The bamboo tube chicken and bamboo tube rice are especially fresh and sweet. I will come to your home again if I have the chance. Before leaving, I also brought some monk fruit grown by the owner to drink in water. It's cheaper than what is sold outside. It's mainly for peace of mind. I'd like to add that our luggage is quite heavy. The owner's mother carried it on her back when we came and went. I was very touched. Don't miss this home if you want to come.
