"Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists."

"We had a wonderful stay here with our baby. The view from the room was amazing, the bathtub was pleasant to have. The host was very nice, he drove us to the cable car station and got he bus station for free. Great to see how this rural area develops."

"After a long search, I chose this hotel because it included breakfast and round-trip transportation from the Dazhai parking lot. When I was making my travel guide, I wasn't sure how far the hotel was from the parking lot, so I chose one that would provide pick-up. The hotel is in a great location, the courtyard is clean and tidy, and the owner is very welcoming and attentive. He provided complimentary water and wine with both meals. There was also monk fruit tea available. From the balcony, you can see two large terraced fields on either side. Early Sunday morning, the terraces were shrouded in mist. The view from the first-floor courtyard is also quite nice (see picture). We arrived at noon on Saturday and climbed the Golden Buddha Summit in the afternoon. The next morning, we climbed the Thousand-Layered Ladder. Two days and one night gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy, so we didn't rush to visit various attractions. The views of the terraced fields from October 11th to 12th, 2025, are also attached. The neatly arranged layers of terraces stretch across the mountain, creating a spectacular sight and perfect for taking photos."

"We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay."
