"Absolutely fantastic stay, the owners are extremely hospitable and the food served (both the free afternoon tea and the paid dinners) is very good, also had fun dressing up in the ethnic costumes (flexible on when to borrow the costumes, I tried it on in the evening and when returning them, owner recommended holding on to them for another round of photo-taking in the morning when the light is better). Good location to start walks to the various viewpoints to see the rice terraces and also for the bus service to Dazhai."

"The room was spotless, with a southeast-facing window that provided breathtaking views of the terraced fields and sunrise. It was also very well-equipped. The owner was incredibly hospitable; his family owns their own rice paddies, and the meals they cooked were absolutely delicious. They even treated us to some complimentary rice wine. We had the unique experience of catching some fish from their rice paddies, which they then prepared for us as a wonderfully tasty salt and pepper dish. It was an incredibly satisfying trip overall!"

"Absolutely want to thank everyone on this hotel for the stay! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and attentive, the room was so special - it was a highlight of my trip.
I had mistaken my transfer to the hotel and the communication was quick to help and solve the issues, speaking with the driver I had (as I’m not that proficient in Chinese). I had a lovely introduction to this family run hotel and the area with the driver who was an Uncle.
At lunch, I was so full and the staff suggested to keep it for dinner which was so considerate. I definitely didn’t want any food wastage - the chicken bamboo was then turned into a soup which was delicious after taking on the rice terraces. The staff were attentive and helpful with question and tips. As I was semi-organised they really helped me feel reassured with my itinerary.
The room was gorgeous, and smelled beautiful from the natural wood. It was coming back to a sauna every time, so relaxing. The decorations in the room were so special.
The rice terraces are 10min away and both Nine Dragon Five Tigers and Seven Stars & Moon is easily accessible.
I’m so happy and grateful for this stay. You won’t regret it."

"My friends and I came to Longji to catch the sunrise. You wouldn't believe it, we could watch the sunrise right from our doorstep! Opening the window, the sunrise over Longji was truly beautiful. The room windows were spotlessly clean. The owner was also incredibly kind. Early in the morning, when he saw us photographing the sunrise, he brought us some snacks and said, 'You might be hungry, have these to tide you over, breakfast will be ready very soon!' That was incredibly thoughtful! The owner personally picked us up and dropped us off both ways, and he even gave us a souvenir. Highly recommended, five stars!"

GGuest UserThe Longji Terraces are an absolute must-visit, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The food was a major highlight. They specialize in authentic farmhouse cuisine, using excellent, fresh ingredients. The flavors were perfectly to our liking. We had two meals there and managed to try most of their signature dishes. The local chicken and duck are must-orders, as is the stuffed tofu with meat. Their special rice wine was also very tasty.
Another delightful surprise was the breakfast rice noodles. We hadn't found good rice noodles in Guilin or Yangshuo, but theirs were incredibly springy and smooth.
The accommodation environment was superb. The overall decor was excellent, and the hallways were adorned with local arts and crafts, giving the place a grand and inviting atmosphere. On the first floor, there's a cafe/lounge where you can order coffee, and outdoor seating is available. The rooftop boasts an open-air terrace. It's about a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 3. While the view of the entire Longji landscape is somewhat obstructed by other buildings, this minor inconvenience is negligible.
The service was fantastic. Upon arrival at the scenic area, the owner sent a car to pick us up from the base of the mountain. Once we reached the hotel, they helped carry our luggage to our room. The recommended travel photographer was also very reliable.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

GGuest UserI fell in love with the B&B at first sight, and I was not disappointed after checking in. The experience was perfect. The room was very clean and tidy, with a panoramic window, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while lying on the bed. The room was fully equipped, and disinfectant wipes were provided next to the toilet, which was perfect for details. The friends in the B&B were very warm and polite, and took the initiative to move the luggage and responded to everything. The breakfast was rich, the dinner tasted good, and the unlimited glutinous rice wine was praised. There were welcome fruits when checking in, and souvenirs when leaving the store. There were also ethnic costumes provided, which were guaranteed to be photoshopped.
A highly recommended B&B, I will come again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserA family ran hotel with brand new amenities and really great views of the Jinkeng village rice terraces if you book the rooms with views. We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host family. The food, breakfast and dinner, were both quite good.
Logistically, you have to contact the hotel to pick you up from the entrance of the Jinkeng village (bottom of the cable car) then it’s only a short 5-7 mins drive from there. We called the hotel thru our driver and everything worked out smoothly.
Another highlight is that from this hotel, you can trek for about 40 mins thru the village and rice terrace to get to the highest viewing platform of the Jinkeng village. It was a bit of a workout but the views along the way was really worth it. The owner will send u a detailed guide of how to get there so you won’t get lost.
Overall I would highly recommend for the views and the opportunity to trek a little deeper into the village and terraces and enjoy the tranquility there.

GGuest UserChildren like to run around. The hotel has a large activity space. The room is exquisitely decorated and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The mountain view king room has a wide view, the room is very clean, and it faces the terraced fields. The view is excellent! The breakfast is varied and delicious. Maybe because it is in the countryside, the scenic area is quiet downstairs at night, and it is very comfortable to sleep.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

GGuest UserIt is really a city in the sky, with a wide view. I lazily drink tea in the room and look directly at the magnificent terraces. The scenery is beautiful! The hotel rooms are comfortably and uniquely decorated. I especially like the mini multifunctional book bar, where I read, make tea, and brew coffee. Occasionally, I look up at the unobstructed view of the thousand-level terraces outside the window. I have been so comfortable these two days! The hotel service is also very thoughtful, and the personalized service covers all aspects. Because it is located on the top of the mountain, the road is rugged and difficult. The hotel is very considerate to send a car to lead the way and carry the luggage. For the farther attractions, the hotel takes the safety of the guests into consideration and takes the initiative to arrange vehicles to take the guests to see the scenery. It is very good 👍 In short, the city in the sky is worthy of its name, and I will come again! Check-in from March 6 to 8, 2025!

GGuest UserWould definitely return to this wonderful hotel. It’s a short walk up the hill but well worth the stunning views from the floor ceiling glass windows in your room. Just amazing and we loved everything about it! There’s a lovely public balcony with rocking chairs, tables and chairs, eating and relaxing as well as your room.
Do ask them to collect you from the carpark as it’s quite a walk with bags to Da Zhai village.
Da Zhai is peaceful and beautiful. We did a four hour hike to another village and the views from there were amazing. so so well worth taking the cable car up to golden Budda viewpoint and spending some time up there. We spent three nights and that was perfect!

MM580537****My first impression of this B&B was its simplicity and warmth. The rooms aren't particularly ornately decorated, but they felt incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the cleaning lady was incredibly attentive. The light was excellent, revealing the beautiful scenery. The owner was incredibly helpful and provided me with a lot of useful information, such as travel guides and car rental tips. In the evening, we enjoyed local specialties, which I discovered were made by the owner upon asking. Amazing! They also had local rice wine, which they claimed was homemade, and it was delicious. I'd definitely choose this B&B again next time I visit this area!

HHanniba·jinThe hotel is located in the most central location of the best scenic spot of Longji Terraces. The room has a great view from the 270-degree glass window. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic. The service is very good. There are also special ladies who take free photos (and drones). The hotel's viewing platform is very beautiful and photogenic. The overall living experience is not bad. There are a few shortcomings: First, the hotel has no parking space, and you need to walk a bumpy mountain road from the parking lot; second, the 270-degree view room you booked is large, the decoration is relatively new, and the view is good, but it is limited by the level of local economic construction. It can only be said to be at the level of a homestay, and the bed and bathroom configuration are relatively low-end; third, there is almost no entertainment and supporting facilities near the hotel, and you can only sit in the room at night. The hotel, and the price of the hotel's meals is really high. A casual farmhouse dinner for two people costs 400-500 (this is the price in Longji, not the hotel overcharges customers). The taste is ordinary and not amazing; the fourth is that the most unbearable thing is that a wave of guests with very poor quality came at 11 o'clock in the evening. First, they dragged things and laughed and played, which lasted until 1 o'clock in the morning. During this period, I complained to the boss and stopped it, but it was ineffective, so he stopped caring. We came to the mountains for a vacation to have a good rest and relax. The echo in the mountains in the middle of the night was loud, which seriously affected the guests' rest. There was no compensation. I have to complain. One point for the beautiful scenery of Longji Terraces, one point for the photo-taking lady, and one point for the enthusiastic attitude of the boss. I can't give more.

YYK_YK_YK_YKThe hotel is conveniently located and the service is online. There is a night view to enjoy, but the biggest problem is the soundproofing of the windows. Square dancing or public singing cannot be avoided, but the windows have almost no effect on the noise of passing vehicles. The quietest place in the room is the bathroom. Could the owners and leaders invest more budget in improvements?
