"The name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this!
But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here.
Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here."

"The room is very spacious and bright, clean and sanitary. The details are well done and equipped with toilet mats. The boss and the lady boss are very nice. They came down to pick us up and helped us carry our suitcases upstairs👍👍. The boss lady cooks delicious food. , they also gave us two free breakfasts, a bamboo tube rice 🤭🤭, and they also lent us a motorcycle to ride on, which was very convenient for going out to see the scenery. I must give it a thumbs up 👍👍👍.
Finally, I would like to make a sincere suggestion. It would be more perfect to install a dry and wet separation partition in the bathroom."

"對比來説，這次的住宿相對比較舒服，性價比較高。剛去到，老闆就在平安寨停車場載我們上客棧，老闆娘還幫我們背行李，主要是24寸的行李賊重～而且去到老闆娘還説當天有個山景房沒約給我們免費升級。剛好給爸媽住，享受一下～房間裏有暖氣，晚上桂林有點冷，開了居然有點熱哈哈。一天一夜的早中晚都在客棧解決，雞吃的出來是家用的，還有我最喜歡吃的青菜，很甜。老闆娘説是因為前段時間下雪。
白天從客棧去七星伴月和九龍五虎，挺舒服，也很方便，空氣很好，天氣也很給力。如果不是時間趕，還想住多一個晚上。

"After passing the ticket point of the scenic spot, you have to drive for about half an hour, stop in the parking lot in the scenic spot, which is already 715 meters above sea level, and then walk for 20 minutes on the mountain road before reaching the inn. Thanks to the good policies of the party and the country, I repaired this one. Highway, the store said that there was no road before, so you had to walk for more than four hours to reach the ticket office. "The decoration of Yixi Yisu Hotel is very thoughtful and has a sense of design. The hotel is full of artistic style ~ the proprietress is enthusiastic and provides considerate service. As soon as I entered the door, I changed my shoes. It was clean and spotless. The bed in the room was of good quality and comfortable. The room had good light transmittance and there were terraces outside the window. I ordered a cup of coffee on the first floor with my friends...enjoy! Very satisfied!"

"We stayed one night at the hotel and the experience was excellent. Although we had booked a standard room, the hotel offered us an upgrade, which was a great surprise. The new room had a terrace with spectacular views, which undoubtedly contributed to make our stay even more special. We would like to highlight the kindness and professionalism of Jason and the rest of the staff, who attended us in a close and attentive manner at all times.
The dinner was exceptional. We especially recommend the dishes: fried pork with eggplant, fried breef with potato and fried noodles with eggs.
Undoubtedly, a place we would return to and recommend!!!!!!!"

GGuest UserWe are so glad that we have chosen to stay at this hotel during our trip to Ping'an. It's strategically located at Ping'an, where it's easily accessible to View Point 1: Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and View Point 2: Seven Stars around the Moon. The path to the above viewing points is just next to the hotel!
The hotel owner picked us up from the parking lot and carried our bags to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay due to the warm hospitality and superb service.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and cleaned with amazing views of the rice terraces close-up. We can even see the sunrise from our rooms. We went during winter, but fret not; the heaters in the rooms kept one warm. It was fun to go during winter as Ping'an is not crowded with tourists. The view of the Longji rice terraces has a different kind of beauty after the harvest season.
We had dinner at the hotel. The dishes were delicious as the vegetables were freshly plucked and the chicken was slaughtered for dinner. The hotel owner went out of their way to get us the dried bamboo shoots that we wanted to buy to take home.
Breakfast was great. We have enjoyed our meals at the hotel as they're home-cooked and organic. You can't get vegetables, herbs, and meat products fresher than here. It's a great place to stay for hiking and relaxation.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel one day in advance. I communicated with the boss by phone first, and felt very enthusiastic and left a good impression. After that, I sent information about the hotel location and parking pick-up through WeChat, which was very meticulous and thoughtful. After driving to the navigation location, the boss drove to pick me up, helped with the luggage, and climbed the stairs. The hotel is located not far below the Qixing Banyue Observation Deck. It is clean and tidy, with a terraced landscape balcony and a large French window. The scenery is absolutely first-class. Sitting on the balcony or on the bed in the room, you can watch the clouds in the col rise and drift away, like a fairyland. You can eat and live here. The mountain is not a place to eat delicacies, but the cooked meals are very farm-style, clean and hygienic. The boss lady also gave homemade juice and rice wine for dinner, which tasted great. The boss's drone flew very well, took a short video of the family for free, and helped another tourist who stayed in the hotel to find the crashed drone. The noodles made by the boss's family for breakfast are also very good, and the taste even feels better than the breakfast rice noodles in the big hotel. Before leaving, the boss also gave me the local specialty monk fruit tea. In short, the shop is very economical, the service is thoughtful, and it is clean and tidy. It is worth it for a stranger like me to spend so much time writing so many words!

EearlgreykosongThis was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well.
Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

The service was fantastic, they offered to drive us and pick us up from the scenic viewpoints throughout our stay. They helped coordinate pick up and drop off from the train stations (for a fair fee) as it is a bit hard to get there without your own car. They also served us their rice wine at dinner, and provided bottles to take home when we checked out. They were always checking in on how our stay was, very proactive communication. We stayed in the panorama room and the view from their hotel is incredible. Very clean, all amenities we needed provided. I would 1000% recommend this place if you can make it out here.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).
在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

GGippiThe property is perfectly located in the heart of Ping'an, right 5 minutes walk from the bottom of the terraces of the 9 dragons 5 tigers terraces area, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the village and terraces on foot. Room was as shown in the pics, spacious, perfectly clean and featured very comfortable beds. The building’s architecture was absolutely beautiful and it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. There are multiple balconies with wonderful sights and at night it is magical to hear the terraces turning alive with all the frogs croacking sounds! Nonetheless the room was perfectly soundproof so you can sleep peacefully once you close the doors, regardless of the outer natural orchestra (very recommended to have a walk at night to the close 9 dragons and 5 tigers terraces! Unique experience for some). The staff were helpful and professional. There is a very good restaurant inside the building with very tasty local typical bamboo-cooked chicken, rice terrace fishes and many other tasty dishes. There are also traditional dressings to wear for free inside the main hall. Nice breakfast included in the price. We are very happy and we recommend this accommodation to stay in Longji Terraces area!

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserThe B&B is right next to the terraced fields. The boss helped upgrade the room. The large balcony is simply invincible. The autumn wind, autumn sunshine, and golden rice fields are just a vacation for the eyes and relaxation for the body. The terraced fields in October are worth a visit and a night’s stay. Like it👍

WWangdachuiaaThe room is super big. It's nice to have such facilities in the mountains. I will go there again next time. The only problem is that the doors are made of wood and are a bit bad after a long time. There is a big gap when the door is closed.
