Longsheng Hotels with Bars

If you get the chance to visit Longji/Longsheng to hike through the amazing rice paddies, then you absolutely must stay at Li'An Lodge. The rooms are lovely, clean and quaint, and a cultural alternative to the more modern options in the larger cities. The lodge is run by Aaron who goes above and beyond to help visitors, give local recs, and speaks perfect English. He will also help you avoid any tourist traps.  Li'An lodge is also built on the highest point so you have a fabulous view, and is situated right at the starting point of the main hike in local area. The rooms give you a great view of the rice paddies and the village.  The food is simple and great, or you can eat around the town, which is very atmospheric. We came in the low season end of March, which was misty but fab and we had most of the places to ourselves.  Really can't recommend enough. If you get to Guilinxi (station) they will send a driver to get you. You can also book directly with the hotel over email with Aaron which is easy and efficient. 

Facilities: The appliances used are all branded. Hygiene: Hygiene is also very clean; Environment: in the mountainside position, you can feel the scenery of the terraced fields without going out; Service: The boss's service attitude is super good, and he can also pick us up to the ropeway ticket office. Because there is no large food and beverage outlet, dinner is solved in the store. I ate the chicken caught by the boss himself. One chicken and two chickens were eaten. It was very fresh and delicious. The rice wine sent is also very delicious. Not bad for a stay experience.

The experience exceeded expectations, the boss upgraded the duplex, the children especially like it, and always said that it was the best room I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean, especially the sanitary ware was the same as the brand new, there was no water stains and scale, and almost no sanitary corners were seen. The homestay itself is also very beautiful, very close to the Golden Buddhading Observation Deck, you can easily see the sunrise. The terraces in October are so beautiful, this experience is really great!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from guiding us on how to get there to assisting with booking our bus tickets. They were always friendly and very supportive. The food was also excellent. We tried several local dishes and everything we had was truly delicious. Our room had a beautiful view, and everything was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Longji Rice Terraces. Thank you to the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable.

The hotel is located on a mountaintop. The drive up takes half an hour. The winding road is quite steep, requiring a good level of driving skill. There are many sharp turns, and there's also landslide debris along the roadside. However, the road maintenance personnel promptly cleared it, and even when I called the hotel, the staff were very attentive and always reminded me. I was very pleased with my room. The view from the window was picturesque, and any photo I took was stunning. The sea of clouds and sunset were both fantastic! The hotel also paid special attention to every detail. The room was clean and tidy, and the room was provided with snacks, tea bags, coffee, and drinks. They really thought of everything! I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, and every dish was delicious. The latte art at breakfast was especially beautiful! Because it's at the top of the mountain, there are mosquitoes, but the air conditioning in the room was set to 20°C, and with the doors and windows closed, it was fine. The restaurant on the first floor also had mosquito coils, and with the air conditioning and electric fans, it was quite comfortable during meals! I highly recommend staying here. The staff also provided information about nearby attractions. There's a dog downstairs, so it was a great place to go out and watch the stars at night!

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

The name ”Qichi Mansu” (栖迟漫宿) sounds quite pleasant, like slowing down the pace of life. Staying here isn't as formal as staying in a hotel; it feels more like staying at a friend's house. The sofas are soft and cozy, and there are interesting little trinkets in the corners, making it feel welcoming. From the balcony, you can see thousands of acres of terraced fields. You can wake up to birdsong in the morning and enjoy the breeze on the balcony in the evening—much more interesting than staring at your phone. There's no need to rush; you can sleep in as long as you want. Breakfast is local rice noodles, which I found quite delicious. The owner will smile and ask where you want to go today. Staying here isn't about luxury, but about comfort and ease, like pressing the pause button on life, resting enough to continue moving forward.

The Longji Rice Terraces are absolutely worth a day trip! We booked the Suimo Longji Hotel, which is known for its exceptional views. The scenery from the hotel lobby alone was infinitely more breathtaking than any photo could capture. The verdant, cascading terraces wind majestically from the base to the peak, their smooth lines creating a magnificent spectacle, truly like the fingerprints of the earth. From misty mornings to golden sunsets, every moment felt like a living painting. The hotel's cuisine was also exceptionally delicious, featuring dishes like spicy and sour field snails, braised yellow chicken, and wild river fish.

The guesthouse lobby offers a direct view of the rice terraces. In the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the ground-floor lobby, gazing at the illuminated terraces. It's truly a delightful experience. The owner is a fantastic cook, and his meals are incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the bamboo chicken, which is a favorite for both adults and children!

The boss is so kind! Enthusiasm and kindness! , Because I took my wheelchair with my dad, I went to Longji facing the ramp and immediately went in a circle. After contacting the boss, he helped with luggage and the wheelchair. I am very grateful to the boss, Brother Liao, for his help. Another objective compliment is that Liqing’s location is better. The room has an invincible terraced field view, which allows people to get a glimpse of the terraced fields from the moment they enter the room, watching the clouds and mist, and the relative price is really super cost-effective! share!
