"Absolutely love our stay here. It's in a quiet corner near to the Shuhe ancient town North Gate. The hotel will assist to bring your luggages from the gate to the hotel premise. Room is bigger than we expected from the photos. Complete amenities and floor heating and electronic toilet bowl with bidet were extremely useful for us - also a Laifen hairdryer wow! Breakfast spread had enough options to cater to different diets - we take halal/qingzhen/vegetarian food and could still enjoy it! Reason why we picked this hotel was because of the many activity offerings it has and these don't disappoint either. Wished we had more days here to enjoy more. Will come back again! Shout-out also to the owner who chose to use existing Naxi houses to refurbish to become this hotel -- I'm sure the maintenance takes a lot compared to building a totally new structure, yet they want to give an authentic experience to guests, and that's very admirable."

"If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for service, we would. Welcomed at the alley by the manager, greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality towards the kids by giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room (based on availability). Breakfast choices were simple, healthy, and fulfilling each day. Really nothing beats a slow morning looking out at the majestic mountain. The hotel staff were all approachable and easily reached via WeChat, they really went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Rooms were clean and spacious! They also offer a complimentary tea set, a free shuttle to an ancient town of our choice, and a free airport transfer. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but we had no trouble getting Didi in and out daily. Would stay again if we come back to Lijiang!"

Both the Chinese restaurant, "Dianxiangguan," and "Yue Hotpot" offer delicious food and are definitely worth trying."

"Located right within the Lijiang Ancient Town, this hotel boasts a large property with a very appealing public area. The staff at all entrances to the ancient town were incredibly welcoming. Before check-in, Claire from Guest Relations called to confirm my arrival time and any specific requests, which was a great touch. The room itself was generally well-maintained. However, given the hotel's older renovation, the carpets and decor definitely show their age. The smart facilities are also somewhat lacking (no smart toilets, smart light switches, etc.). From what I've seen online, this seems to be a common issue with several of Lijiang's established, top-tier hotels. I specifically booked an executive suite, and the executive lounge was generally satisfactory (afternoon tea, happy hour). The breakfast offered a wide variety, including local specialties and common Chinese and Western options. I didn't get a chance to experience the swimming pool, gym, kids' club, or spa, but I imagine they're all quite good, making it a decent option for families. Overall, I hope the hotel can update its facilities. More attention could also be paid to details like welcome fruits and in-room amenities. After all, for an InterContinental-level hotel, paying over a thousand [yuan] shouldn't feel similar to staying at a several-hundred-yuan hotel."

"My partner and I stayed at Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa for two nights during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Overall, our experience was mixed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the villa itself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was excellent—one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept on in a long time. We had two very restful nights, and the room provided a peaceful environment to relax after exploring Lijiang. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel’s luxury branding, price point, or rating. While the property may once have been a premium resort, it now feels dated and in need of renovation. Many of the facilities and amenities appear worn, and the overall condition of the hotel gives the impression that it has not been maintained to the standard expected of a luxury resort. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The Western selection was very limited and of questionable quality, while the Chinese options were equally underwhelming. Even basic items such as the baozi did not taste freshly made. For a hotel in this price range, the food quality was surprisingly poor and far below expectations. Having stayed at many other hotels across China, including less expensive and less prestigious brands, I have often enjoyed significantly better breakfast offerings and overall value. The dining experience simply does not reflect the premium rates charged by this property. In summary, if you value a large villa and a comfortable bed, this hotel may still be worth considering. However, those expecting a true luxury resort experience, modern facilities, and high-quality dining may find themselves disappointed. The accommodation itself was enjoyable, but the amenities, maintenance, and food quality need significant improvement to justify the hotel’s reputation and pricing."

It really sets the perfect holiday mood and is fantastic for photos!"

"Staying three nights at this snow mountain view B&B was hands down the best decision of our trip! Five stars, no doubt 🌟. The service was incredibly attentive; right from booking, we felt the owner's warmth. Not only did it include free transfers to nearby attractions, but the driver was punctual every day, helped with our luggage, and completely took the stress out of transportation – super convenient. The B&B itself was a pleasant surprise too. The whole-house smart system was sophisticated and convenient, with voice control for lights, AC, and curtains. In the morning, I just had to say, 'open curtains' from bed, and the majestic snow-capped mountains appeared unobstructed before my eyes. At night, it automatically adjusted to sleep-aid mode – the blend of technology and nature was absolutely brilliant. What truly captivated me was the ever-changing scenery. In the early morning, the 'Golden Mountain' phenomenon painted the snow peaks with a golden glow, a truly breathtaking sight. In the evening, the sunset's fiery clouds colored the sky like a vibrant oil painting. On the afternoon of our third day, after a brief shower, a huge rainbow arched across the mountains, and we couldn't help but cheer. These three days, from dawn to dusk, every window offered a living landscape. Even better, the value for money was excellent; for such a premium view and service, the price was very affordable. I've already recommended it to all my friends and will definitely bring my family back next time. It far exceeded all expectations!"

"For our trip to Lijiang, we chose the Lijiang Gucheng Jianshanlu B&B after sifting through options online. The modern decor of the B&B left a deep impression on me. First, its location: The B&B is situated directly opposite the North Gate of Lijiang Ancient Town, making it very convenient for getting around. There's also a parking lot nearby. The B&B has a courtyard style, and the rooms are clean and bright with separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Although it has been open for a few years now, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. The owner was also very hospitable, taking care of our luggage both on arrival and departure, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I sincerely wish the hotel great success in its business."
