The viewing platform can take a panoramic view of the Yulong Snow Mountain. The 360 degree view of the ancient city without dead corners. The Inn has 18 warm rooms, which are convenient to travel. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the water cart, Sifang Street, Bar Street and Dashiqiao Bridge. The newly added airport bus north gate Dayanhuaxiang Station is 3 minutes away from the Inn. The Inn is in the style of Naxi folk houses, with simple and elegant decoration, and warm and comfortable rooms.
"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The owner was very kind and welcoming, even helping us carry our luggage from the gate to the hotel upon arrival. On our departure day, he personally sent us to the gate early in the morning at 6am, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a good and comfortable stay with warm hospitality. Halal restaurants is nearby and easy to find."

"Facilities: Well-equipped. I was most impressed that they even provided razors.
Service: We had initially booked two rooms. My friends, however, didn't want to climb too many stairs, so they decided not to stay, and the owner graciously refunded one room. What's more, I had accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the owner went above and beyond by introducing us to his friend's guesthouse, which also had an absolutely incredible viewing balcony. This clearly shows the owner's genuine helpfulness and dedication.
Hygiene: The bedsheets and other linens were spotlessly clean and hygienic, truly pristine. The bathroom was also clean and functional.
Environment: The balcony offers stunning views, and both the room's interior and exterior are incredibly photogenic – perfect for capturing beautiful moments morning or evening. If you're looking to take gorgeous photos, I highly recommend this place. However, I wouldn't suggest booking if you're not in good physical shape. Cancelling because you can't manage the climb later on could unfortunately cause issues for the owner's listing on the platform."

Service: The uncle at Mingsu was very enthusiastic. He called me right after I made the reservation and said he would pick me up at the airport/station if I stayed for three consecutive nights (choose 1 from 2). I then added him on WeChat. After arriving, he helped me carry my luggage upstairs. Since we were staying there for a long time, the uncle would ask if I needed cleaning every morning. The room is really clean and the facilities are new. It's a pity that I didn't take a picture. It's the same as the homepage~ It's the simple and modern style I like. I will choose this place next time~"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The room was not properly cleaned, with noticeable dirt and even a booger stuck to the curtain. The bathroom was in poor condition, with soap scum all over the shower walls. There was also a lack of essential supplies, including toilet paper, which was not replenished during my stay.
To make matters worse, the hotel doesn't change the sheets or towels daily, which is a basic expectation for any hotel. There were also no slippersfor the room provided, just for the shower, which made walking around the room uncomfortable.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of privacy in the bathroom area. There is no curtain or door separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom or the room itself. This made the entire space feel exposed, and when using the shower, everything got wet, including the floor outside the bathroom.
I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay, specially a group of friends."

"This ancient building has a beautiful courtyard and very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, in wood, with a very classical nice taste. The best thing is the terrace with views over the roofs of the old city and a sofa to relax.
The owner is incredibly friendly, he invited me to drink tea and eat sweets with him.
The location is very convenient right in the middle of the old town. Beware that taxis cannot get into the old town so you will need to walk there.
You can even wash clothes there.
I absolutely recommend this place."

A crystal clear stream flows around the ancient city all the year round. On one side of the stream, there are several weeping willows. The long and soft willows are fluttering in the wind. Graceful dance, is so beautiful, so natural. There are two or three very long branches, hanging on the water, with sparkling ripples. When the water bird stands on its waist and sings, the water also sings and makes a pleasant sound. Even if it is dry, the stream will not dry up. Villagers usually rely on it to irrigate the countryside, wash clothes and decorate the scenery. Sometimes, it has only a thin spring, which passes through the stone cracks. A group of six or seven year olds and I like to dig open the stone and look for small fish, shrimp and crabs. "We stayed at Juhe for up to eight nights in total. The two hosts were very friendly, responsive, and went out of their way to meet guests’ needs — including transportation services and free luggage storage during our trip to Shangri-La and other towns.
The guesthouse is located near the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town, making it very convenient to walk to the main road or Zhongyi Market. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed — including disposable towels, slippers, a hair dryer, and a drying rack.
Staying here made us feel truly at home. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard and chatting with the hosts while sipping complimentary Yunnan black tea and white tea. Highly recommended to travelers from around the world!

"The boss was very nice and upgraded our room for free. The room was large and clean. Lijiang is very dry. The humidifier in the room is quite powerful, but the floor heating is not too hot. The bathroom is large so it will be a bit cold to take a shower. The B&B is next to the ancient city. From the entrance of the villa community, you can walk to Shuhe Ancient Town in ten minutes. The community is very quiet and suitable for resting, but the surrounding area is relatively desolate and there are no shops. It is not convenient to eat. You can only go to the ancient town to eat, or take a taxi to the nearby Tourism Institute. There is a night market and many cost-effective restaurants"

GGuest UserThe two young owners are truly charming. They proactively reached out to us before our check-in to understand our needs. Unfortunately, a heavy downpour greeted us upon arrival in Lijiang, and being unfamiliar with the area, we had trouble locating the agreed-upon pick-up point. Despite the rain, one of the hosts patiently waited for us. Another host then met us at the Old Town entrance, helping with our luggage using a cart, and escorted us to the guesthouse. Inside our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find that all our previous requests had been thoughtfully prepared, and our child immediately jumped onto the bed, excitedly bouncing around! The room itself was well-equipped and very clean. We also received excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining spots. The guesthouse's courtyard is conveniently located, making it easily accessible by both taxi and public transportation. I highly recommend this as a fantastic accommodation choice for any Lijiang trip!

AAnonymous UserThe experience was very good. The room was very beautiful. There was a phonograph, a set of incense, and a comfortable swivel chair. It was very quiet at night. There were not only washing machines and detergents in the yard, but also dryers. The water dispenser in the room could adjust the water temperature, so you could drink hot water immediately. The children liked to play in the lobby. There was a building block table. The boss was patient and enthusiastic. We chatted while drinking coffee. He also asked about our departure time, arranged breakfast, and sent us out of the ancient city. I will choose your hotel next time.

The wonderful wooden facilities in the room, the beautiful environment, strategic location (about 10 mins walk from South Gate), perfect hospitality, unlimited bottled water supply and friendly furballs (that will lay down immediately when you pet them!) have totally enriched our experience in lijiang!!
I have to further elaborate on the wonderful hospitality offered by Mandy (the owner) and the staff of the inn. We were contacted by Mandy through WeChat before our stay so she can arrange the staff to pick us up and carry our luggage. We were greeted with fresh watermelon slices that quenched our thirst on a hot summer day. During our stay, as we need to leave the inn early on both days and we have opted for the breakfast option, they have prepacked scrumptious breakfast for us. Also on our last day, we needed to leave at 7am, but Mandy was super accommodating to our request and arranged the staff to bring our luggage to the South Gate. They also gave us a local recommendations for what to eat (was very good).
Mandy and the staff have gone above and beyond and it definitely made our stay so much more amazing. Would give 6 stars if possible!! Thank you so much to everyone there :)

GGuest UserWe came because of the good reviews and we received even more than expected. I was very curious how every review was about the room, hospitality, breakfast and view, really enjoyed our stay here, we extended from three days to five days. We chose this location because it's nearer to the Yu Long Snow Mountain. We arrived early and immediately got upgraded to a much much bigger and spacious room with good view of the mountain and scenery. It was just bad luck that we came during bad weather but the room was really cozy, it made the stay very comfortable. It's very quiet and we had very full rest and sleep for all our nights here. There's also heater in the room that keeps us warm in the winter.
The service and hospitality is unbeatable here. We felt like home living here where the amenities of room are well sufficient and provided, which soundproofing tapes at the sides of the door. The owner tested us like family and we felt very safe staying here. We borrowed umbrella, asked for directions, they offered to help us book tickets, made us breakfast on the spot and even provided us alternative options when we couldn't have breakfast and gave advice and support when we had altitude sickness. The homemade breakfast was really exactly what the reviews turn out to be. It turns out to be a blessings for us that we booked this place. Whatever request we kindly asked for was remembered and followed through, it really stands out among the places we booked so far. They were very easy to talk to and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.
The location was a little tricky to navigate because most taxi drivers didn't drop us infront of the property but it wasn't really an issue with local maps.
There's water refill with warm and hot water. This is going to be our go to hotel in Lijiang from now onwards. Walking to Su He town was very easy too.

Upon checking in, I was warmly greeted by the hotel owner, who is Chinese and speaks excellent English. His hospitality and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, and throughout my stay, he went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. From recommending local attractions to arranging transportation, he was always there to assist me.
The accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the rooftop, the panoramic view of the mountains was truly mesmerizing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Lijiang.
In addition to the stellar accommodations, the hotel's location was also ideal. Situated in a quaint and charming neighborhood, it was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions. I appreciated being able to immerse myself in the local culture and explore the bustling streets of Lijiang.

KK VThis was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel.
I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it.
Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat.
The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value.
In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther.
Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list.
P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.

GGuest UserRecommended by a friend, this guesthouse truly exceeded all my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised the moment I stepped inside. The entire courtyard space was so comfortably laid out, filled with lush greenery. The room's windows provided excellent ventilation, making it incredibly fresh and airy, with no stuffy smell at all – the airflow was absolutely amazing.
The cleanliness was impeccable too; the sheets and duvet covers smelled fresh and sun-dried. They even recommended some fantastic local eateries nearby, including 'A-ma Cured Ribs,' which is right next door. Plus, it's very close to the ancient town.
Transportation is incredibly convenient. You can take a taxi right to the guesthouse entrance, and a bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. Getting to scenic spots and shopping areas is straightforward, with no detours needed.
Overall, this stay was an absolutely amazing experience, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The owner of the inn is a very warm and sincere good sister who really provides a lot of help for the trip! I wish my sister a lot of money!
