Lijiang Hostels

We highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Lijiang. The location is within Lijiang Ancient City, so sightseeing is not a problem. The bedroom had woodgrain tones and was personally exciting to me. It was very clean, with no trash or dust. The bed was comfortable with thoughtful touches such as a hand-held light and electric blanket. It's also helpful that you can use the washing machine for free. I can't say the restrooms are clean, but if you're used to living abroad, you won't have any problems. The atmosphere inside the store was very lively, with staff and customers having fun playing board games. And above all, I would like to thank the manager of this store for his help. I'm not the type to ask questions myself, but he always cared about me and helped me in many ways. If you are worried about traveling alone or want to socialize, we highly recommend this hotel.

The room is very spacious as a whole, and each passenger has his or her own electronic cabinet. You can also play with young people from different places here. The food in the store is also very amazing. There are sweet and savory, and you can see different dishes on the same table. In the evening, they all get together to play board games, and the whole hall is filled with laughter, hahaha. I will come with my friends next time if I have a chance!

I stayed for 3 nights and felt glad that I chose it instead of those in the old town. It's close to the market to restaurant, to the old town and taxi accessible. I didnt have to drag my heavy luggage along the old town's bumpy roads or climb the hill. They helped me arrange bargain for the electric bike to go around town and to the near by Ancient towns. The house in located behind aparment so it might be a bit difficult to find. Just pass the barrier and follow Amap direction and you'll find a small house wity Warmly Welcome sign. Good luck. Def one of the nicest hostels to stay in! The location is nice in the middle of Ancient Town, not very far from the Lijiang Ancient City which is more crowded. Theres a bus stop nearby that takes to the train station. You can also get a didi. The cafeteria has some food and drinks. The hostel has many areas to relax and socialize, also many activities like live music and games to chat with people. Theres open areas with beautiful sunset view. Theres restaurants around with cheap meals, including breakfasts and local Yunnan coffee. But you can also book some meals at the Hostel for 20/25 yuan. The bathroom is outside in a corridor, in winter it may be a bit cold but its clean. The rooms have nice space for bags and also lockers. The staff and guests are very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back one day!

The owner helps me to take my luggage to the room during checkin and checked on me when I’m not feeling well. They clean the room every day also the bathroom. I had a pleasant stay. P/s: you have to make your own bed and the mattress quite hard. I found all “kind” of hair when i put on the bed sheet. And lots of hair on the floor as well. I informed the owner and she cleaned the room immediately. Thank you for your service

I would like to recommend this hostel for foreigners. The owner is very kind and very helpful for foreigners. You can use microwaves at shared place. Decorations are so interesting you can use the pot for hot water. Thank you so much.

I was very satisfied. I booked Shuhe K2 Youth Hostel that day. Due to a delay in my trip, I didn’t arrive at Shuhe Ancient Town until after ten o’clock in the evening. The beautiful girl at the front desk even called me to ask me about my situation, which was very considerate. This youth hostel has complete facilities and is clean and sanitary. There are also various entertainment facilities on the first floor. There are many energetic young people in the hostel. You can feel at home here and make many friends. Compared with Lijiang Old Town, Shuhe Ancient Town is really clean and I prefer Shuhe Ancient Town. Friends who come to Shuhe Ancient Town must choose K2 Youth Hostel. Location is very convenient and nearby gate of old town. Check-in process was quick. But there is no lock for room and it feels ver insecure for women solo traveller.

Very close to Shuhe Ancient Town. The house environment is very good. You can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the study and you can also take photos on the roof. There is a piano next to the bar downstairs that you can play, which is very pleasant. All kinds of decorations are stylish. The boss enthusiastically introduced the courtyard facilities and helped recommend many restaurants. There is no air conditioning in the room, but it is not needed in the summer. You need to bring your own toiletries.
