Lijiang Hostels

"Def one of the nicest hostels to stay in! The location is nice in the middle of Ancient Town, not very far from the Lijiang Ancient City which is more crowded. Theres a bus stop nearby that takes to the train station. You can also get a didi. The cafeteria has some food and drinks. The hostel has many areas to relax and socialize, also many activities like live music and games to chat with people. Theres open areas with beautiful sunset view. Theres restaurants around with cheap meals, including breakfasts and local Yunnan coffee. But you can also book some meals at the Hostel for 20/25 yuan. The bathroom is outside in a corridor, in winter it may be a bit cold but its clean. The rooms have nice space for bags and also lockers. The staff and guests are very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back one day!"

"They have lockers, good location very close to the old town, it's cheap I know. But the cleanness is not the best, they just give you a sheet so there is never somebody who cleans the bed, I found so much dust on the corners. The worst was the people who were living there they made their on mess like their house., they were no travelers, so it was not pleasant. I could not sleep due to the noise of the roommates. They should put travelers on different rooms. But the installations are ok, they have a living room and two machines for work out."

"The hostel is really nice and cute with all the decoration. The room and bathroom also clean, they clean it everyday. Also provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrush if you did not bring one! The bed is comfy and the bed sheet smell nice. I really like the atmosphere, homey and comfy, so I keep extending my nights here. They also want to help me with the luggage when the road is under construction. "I would like to recommend this hostel for foreigners. The owner is very kind and very helpful for foreigners. You can use microwaves at shared place. Decorations are so interesting you can use the pot for hot water. Thank you so much."

"The boss and his family are super nice and welcoming. You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner is rich and delicious. You don't need to spend time deciding what to eat. You can even eat freshly made dumplings when you go hiking in the morning! The location is very close to the ancient city and Jinjia Market. Vegetable market lovers are ecstatic. The atmosphere of the B&B is also great. I met a lot of interesting people. Bian Mu luck is super cute. It was a great youth hostel experience"

"The newly opened Xiaoyuan Youth Hostel is very clean in every aspect and self-service check-in is also very convenient! I came down from the mountain and rested for two days, basically just sleeping and basking in the sun, which was pretty good!"

"We highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Lijiang. The location is within Lijiang Ancient City, so sightseeing is not a problem. The bedroom had woodgrain tones and was personally exciting to me. It was very clean, with no trash or dust. The bed was comfortable with thoughtful touches such as a hand-held light and electric blanket. It's also helpful that you can use the washing machine for free. I can't say the restrooms are clean, but if you're used to living abroad, you won't have any problems. The atmosphere inside the store was very lively, with staff and customers having fun playing board games. And above all, I would like to thank the manager of this store for his help. I'm not the type to ask questions myself, but he always cared about me and helped me in many ways. If you are worried about traveling alone or want to socialize, we highly recommend this hotel."

"Had a really memorable time at this hostel. Stayed in the dorm - clean and spacious. Great location for exploring Shuhe Ancient Town. The dogs are lovely company with personality. Lots of nice spaces - multiple common rooms, a very nice rooftop. I was treated to a very helpful, welcoming group of staff. I really enjoy their energy and attitudes, and wish I could spend more time with them. Staff also assisted with good priced (better than Didi) transport to and from Gan He Ba hiking trail. Overall, very cool and inviting group of people who help make this hostel."

"The location is good, just one bus ride from the station. There is a large courtyard. The staff cleans it every day, so it's very clean. I'll stay here again when I come to Lijiang!"

"The design of the house is very stylish, the toilet is very clean, and the yard is also very clean and not messy.
