Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

Who could resist a hotel that's a floral courtyard hidden within an ancient town? Outside, it's the bustling crowds of the old city; push open the door and instant tranquility envelops you. The courtyard bursts with vibrant flowers, wooden corridors, flagstone paths, and lanterns, perfectly capturing the Naxi courtyard vibe. 🌷 Flowers bloom everywhere in the courtyard. Sitting on a garden bench, basking in the sun, with the wind carrying the scent of blossoms – every photo taken here has that perfect atmosphere. ☕ In the afternoon, enjoy a freshly ground coffee in the courtyard, slowly unwinding. The fatigue from your journey simply melts away. 🍜 The breakfast in the morning is thoughtfully prepared, offering both Chinese rice noodles and simple meals. Enjoying breakfast amidst the scent of flowers is the perfect way to kick off a leisurely day in Lijiang. ✨ The rooftop viewing platform is the biggest surprise! Look up and gaze over the layers of gray tiles of the ancient town. On a clear day, you can even see the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. During the day, sunbathe and drink coffee; in the evening, wait for the sunset glow; at night, watch the myriad lights of the old town. No need to go out and jostle for views at tourist spots; you can capture stunning scenes right from the hotel. Quietly nestled amidst the bustle, and very close to the ancient city's streets. After exploring the old town, return to this flower-filled courtyard, sip coffee, and take in the scenery. This is the relaxed vibe a Lijiang vacation should have.

Nestled just off the main road at the entrance to Yuhu Village, Baolin Homestay surprisingly keeps a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, you instantly grasp the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of noise': outside, you hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the chatter of tourists, while inside, only the rustling of leaves in the wind and the distant whisper of snow-capped mountains can be heard. Right outside is the village's main street, with cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Turning right leads directly to the path down the mountain and open fields, incredibly convenient for hiking or horse riding. The courtyard layout is particularly delightful. We stayed in a private Loft-style courtyard, with a balcony on the first floor where two rattan chairs offer views of dark grey eaves and a patch of blue sky. The second floor features another small terrace with mountain views. The two levels are independent and offer excellent sound insulation. The room's decor combines raw wood and stone for a rustic feel, the bedding is soft, and the hot water is fast and consistent. The room rate includes a simple dinner for two, and the chef's cooking is excellent – a plate of local cured pork stir-fried with mushrooms, savory and imbued with a wild, earthy flavor; the stir-fried seasonal vegetables were crisp, tender, and sweet, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot congee, rice noodles, and side dishes, setting a great mood for the day. The front desk lady is the heart and soul of this place. Meticulous, diligent, and thoughtful, she brought us a warm, sweet dessert soup every evening that warmed us to our fingertips. Her drinks are never perfunctory, whether it's freshly ground coffee or ginger-date milk tea, all made with genuine care. The three little cats are the lively treasures of the courtyard, bringing the whole place to life. Our three days at Baolin were not luxurious, but everything was perfectly arranged; not ostentatious, yet unforgettable. This stone-walled courtyard in Yuhu Village – it will gently embrace you with a warm meal, a comforting drink, and a quiet night.

We love it here, it was our highlight in Lijiang Ancient Town, the hosts were all friendly, the rooms were as advertised, free airport pickup, complimentary tea and fruits, cleanliness was spotless, spacious and advanced. Had a small cute rooftop for the view. The hosts however were our highlight, we felt genuinely cared for, they ensured our safety and comfort. Every time we are clueless they never fail to give their best to help us, ensure we have a good time, provided all relevant information, gave tips so we don’t get scammed by extreme high prices. At the end of the journey we felt like we made friends along the way, would definitely recommend and come again. Big thanks to Ah Azhong for being our host, we were grateful for your service. The place is located near the north gate but there is a closer exit/shortcut about 10 - 15 mins that is more accessible towards the didi areas in comparison to the main location entrances in the map.

The room was beautiful, clean and modern. The owner was a sweet old man who was very helpful throughout our stay. He drank tea with us and helped us when we lost our room key. The hostel also has a very local restaurant close by that the owner offers to walk you to and helps you order local specialities.

Highly recommended! The owner is incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They arranged airport pickup, and even though we arrived at the hotel in the early hours, the owner personally helped carry our luggage to the room. The service is excellent; if you need anything, the owner will help you out, and even offered to drive us down when we were heading out. The room is spacious and clean. My favorite part is the large balcony outside, with beautiful flowers and plants perfect for photos. It's super comfortable to sit out there in the morning and evening, enjoying the breeze. There's also daily breakfast, fruit, and afternoon tea, all personally served by the owner. This level of service definitely warrants a great review. If I ever come back to Lijiang, I'll only stay here!

The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Zhongyi Market, and it's literally just around the corner, super convenient! The owner helped us with our luggage both ways, and it's really easy to find places to eat nearby. Plus, there are lots of flowers, a rocking chair, and a sun umbrella right outside the entrance – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

Had a fantastic stay! The location is really convenient – close to tourist spots but still quiet. Plus, there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeping was excellent. The soundproofing was good too, so I slept soundly every night. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and even recommended some great local eateries, which was a nice touch. It offers great value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
