GGuest UserEverything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way.
The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers.
During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊
On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us.
We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..

From the moment we planned our arrival, the staff’s proactive approach was evident. Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort.
Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards.
The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable.
Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise.
Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

__WeChat47083****You can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from your bed, and you don't even have to wake up early to catch the sunrise over Jinshan! It was a shame we were foggy both nights. 😭੧ I saw other people's photos and it was so beautiful.
The room had a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and a washing machine and dryer. My kids' clothes were dirty from dinner, so I washed them and put them in the dryer to wear the next day. The housekeeper and all the staff were so welcoming and took great care of the kids. It was a perfect trip.
The B&B is right in Baisha Ancient Town, a 5-minute walk from where you can enjoy handmade shops and afternoon tea. At night, you can fall asleep to the starry sky beneath the snow-capped mountains. ✨ The housekeeper was incredibly helpful, helping with itinerary planning and making the experience a blast!

GGuest UserAfter arriving in Lijiang from Dali, I did some searching and found this guesthouse, which looked promising. Upon arrival, we discovered it's a beautifully traditional Naxi courtyard house. The room itself is very spacious, complete with a bathtub and a smart toilet. Outside, there are two lounge chairs where you can simply lie back, chat, and unwind – it was absolutely blissful! The landlady was incredibly warm and welcoming. She arranged a car to pick us up from the train station, and even organized a luggage cart at the Old Town entrance (as the cobblestone paths make it genuinely difficult to pull luggage). It was a seamless transfer right to the guesthouse – truly thoughtful and attentive service.
The owner and the young ladies working there are all exceptionally gentle and kind. After we checked in, they thoughtfully offered us coffee, fresh fruit, and local flower cakes. Daily housekeeping is provided, with all amenities replenished. (While this is a basic service, the staff always asked in advance if it was a convenient time for cleaning, ensuring they never intruded or disturbed our privacy.)
What's more, the guesthouse is conveniently located very close to Mu's Residence and Zhongyi Market. It's super easy to visit Mu's Residence and explore the night market in the evenings.

GGuest UserHotel location: The hotel is in a lively area, very close to the bar street, but overall I didn't find it very noisy. It generally quieted down by 12 AM. The hotel requires stairs to access, so I really appreciated the luggage assistance.
Cleanliness: Overall, it was very clean. No strange odors, no bugs, and I didn't experience any sneezing fits.
Service: The staff were polite and the inn provided attentive service, responding promptly to my queries. Much appreciated!
Facilities: All necessary facilities were available. The bed was a bit firm, but surprisingly, I slept exceptionally well, haha.
For improvement, perhaps the hairdryer could be upgraded. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserWe were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived in Lijiang. The owner and staff constantly prepared tea, fruit, and flower cakes for us, which was incredibly touching! They also consistently checked in on our plans, reminded us how to buy things, and enthusiastically recommended delicious restaurants and fun places to visit. Waking up in the morning, we could go downstairs and enjoy the guesthouse's breakfast rice noodles, which were especially tasty and fragrant.
Next time I visit Lijiang, I will definitely choose this place again! Thank you all so much for your warmth and hospitality.

We had such a memorable stay at this charming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The owner greeted us with genuine warmth and throughout our stay, he helped us with the bags and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and convenient.
The hotel itself is cute and full of character, with a cozy and inviting charm that made us feel at home right away. Our room was spacious, the bed was wonderfully comfy, and the linens and pillows were of true 5-star quality. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with an automatic bidet, and the shower had excellent hot water—such a treat after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the big flat-screen TV in the room, which made relaxing in the evenings extra nice. The location is near to everywhere. Just short walking distance to main tourist attractions.
The hotel also provides self-service laundry, which was very convenient during our trip. The owner kindly showed us how to use the machines, and one rainy afternoon, he even helped bring our clothes into the room while we were out in the city—such a thoughtful gesture that really showed how much he cares for his guests. 😍
What really set this stay apart was the incredible hospitality. The owner helped us arrange a trip to Yulong Snow Mountain, making sure everything was smooth and hassle-free. When we mentioned our plan to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge, he went the extra mile to book our bus tickets to the starting point and onward to Shangri-La, even using his local phone and website access so that we could get the most practical and affordable transport options.
This combination of comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality made our experience truly special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—you’ll feel not just like a guest, but like a friend being looked after. This is my first time in China and i am lucky to stay in this hotel. We would definitely return without hesitation!

GGuest UserIt's a good idea to choose this B&B for a self-driving tour! The lady boss was very enthusiastic. She gave us a map as soon as we arrived and helped us plan the best route for walking around Heilongtan, which saved us a lot of time. She also introduced a lot of delicious food and pitfall avoidance guides. The service was really amazing!

GGuest UserThis is a difficult one because the staff and the location of the hotel are absolutely fantastic. Lolo, the reception dog, made our stay so much entertainining, and the guys checking us in (and working around the hotel) have always been super helpful and kind.
When we did signal issues with our rooms, we always had these fixed almost instantaneously, but there were also issues out of their control that dampened our experience. Most critically, the mattresses are way too thin so most nights we struggled to find a comfy way to sleep, the walls are also too thin and you can hear every single thing going on around you, and the rooms are cold (no amount of keeping the radiator on fixed it). The rooms could be slightly cleaner too, as under our bed it looked like no one cleaned for a while.
Nonetheless, it was an overall good experience, made significantly better by the location and hosts. Thanks for hosting us.
