Great location and wonderful staff! The hotel is also located near the main road (1min walk) very easy to get on a taxi to traveling to other spots in the city. It’s also in the middle of the old town. You can explore the town and local food, and shop. Cassie and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They help me and my mom throughout our whole stay. I couldn’t speak chinese at all but cassie arranged everything for us. She made my trip very convenient. She booked the tour to the snow mountain for us— very hard to book by yourself esp during peak season— but she managed to secured the ticket and personal dinner for us, arranged all transportations and offered a lot of snacks to try— feels like you’re staying with family/ friends. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Xinsu has been nothing short of amazing. What differentiates this homestay from the rest is the warmth we experienced from the staff. The staff were all very kind and friendly, chatting with us and sharing their knowledge of Lijiang and the Chinese ethnic culture. We had arrived in Lijiang with a very skeletal itinerary and no clue that we had to book Jade Dragon Mountain 3 days in advance. The staff at Xinsu thoroughly went through our itinerary with us and suggested various locations including Lashihai Wetland Area. They also tried their best to help us fight for the last minute tickets to Jade Dragon Mountain. Although we were not able to secure the last minute tickets, we are incredibly appreciative of the effort from the staff as they went the extra mile to extend a helping hand. Xinsu staff were also very conscientious, helping us to arrange private transport with a lady driver as we were two female travellers. The lady driver was also very accommodating and had continued to bring us around when we travelled up to ShangriLa. As an accommodation, Xinsu had everything we needed as well, lots of water for us to get used to the lack of humidity, a humidifier, a washer and dryer that was easily accessible. When we ordered in some Aloe Vera gel for some sun burns we suffered, the staff mentioned that guests could simply ask them for such items, and there was no need to spend the extra dollars. We were very surprised to hear that, as we did not have much experience with home stays before. This made us feel very well taken care of. Best part of Xinsu was the location. We could see the Jade Dragon Mountain every morning and the hotel oversees the rest of the Lijiang Ancient City. It was a very beautiful sight to wake up to in the morning, and a serene way to end our day when we returned to spend the night. Note to future guests: Be sure to reach out to the homestay as early as possible. Xinsu staff earnestly help to make your stay with them as smooth as possible. Word of caution to future travellers visiting Lijiang Ancient City: As the paths are made of pebbles/stone and have been gradually polished over the years, please wear a good pair of shoes and walk carefully through the city. We had heard from the staff that it is a common occurrence for guests to sprain their ankles, and we ourselves had almost slipped a few times as well.

Very good hotel. A bit hard to find the hotel. You need to use FUXIANG INN name to find it. The reception person is very good and nice! Super helpful and help us carrying our bags to the entrance during check out. We checked out late 3 hours and they charge 50 yuan only. Very reasonable. I will stay here again soon!

This is my first time in Lijiang. Mr. Andy contact me days before we arriving from Kuala Lumpur to arrange for pick up at train station. But due to my WeChat aps error, we go to the hotel by DiDi and he picked us from the entrance and helped us with the bags as the old city not accessible direct by car. While we were checking in he made us tea, which was really nice. The hotel is very beautiful, just in the center of Lijiang Old Town. You can go out and stroll. The room and environment is beautiful, comfortable and clean and also all the essential are there. The whole staff of the hotel were really nice and always there for me for all the service that I need especially Mr. Andy. He taking care of us. He helped me reserving a trip to the snow mountain & Tiger Leaping Gorger. Mr. Andy led us to the meeting point in the morning. Very good of him. Mr. Andy arrange driver to send us to the train station on our last day in Lijiang. I highly recommended staying at this hotel and will never regret the experience. Will definitely choose here for my next visit to Lijiang To Mr. Andy, thank you so much for your help and kindness. Till we meet again

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of the Ancient City Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The location was absolutely perfect – situated right in the center of the area, it was a hub of activity during the day, making it easy to explore. As the sun set, the place transformed into a lively spot brimming with music and vibrant nightlife. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining options nearby, which were abundant and diverse. Impressively, we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner as late as 11 pm, which added to the convenience and charm of the area. The hotel staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and efficient check-in process. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, offering us a variety of tea upon arrival – a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Their open and warm approach truly made us feel at home. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the facilities were equally delightful. What stood out was their attention to detail – we were greeted with a welcoming fruit basket and premium beauty products in our room, which added a luxurious feel to our experience. Given that the hotel is located on a hill, the staff's assistance with our luggage was greatly appreciated and made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. Overall, our stay in the ancient city was enriched by this wonderful hotel. With so many accommodation options available in the area, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, perfect location, and thoughtful amenities. It truly made our visit memorable, and we look forward to returning in the future.

My friend & I stayed here for 4 days and we loved it. We came in Feb and the weather was chilly. We really appreciate that the room has a well functioning heater, clean toilet & clean fresh sheets with lovely pillows too! The staff & owner of this inn are so friendly & helpful they make our stay such a pleasant one! Oh the owner’s pet dog, Xiao Bai, is also a star, making sure all guests are welcome! Highly recommend 👍🏻

Hotel is located mid-level of Shizi Mountain 狮子山 which offers a scenic view of Lijiang. Do take note that it may not be suitable for travelers who are either too young or too old as it required quite a fair share of climbing steps. This is especially the case if you are frequently popping down to the town square 四方街 downhill. For those who do not mind the leg work, the hotel is worth your dollars. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, awesome services as the staffs are willing to go the extra miles to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a common outdoor and indoor resting area that you may use if you are feeling lazy and will like to enjoy order-in meals. You may be assured that the rooms are true to the photos that they have shown.

If there’s a scale of 10 or 100, i would rate it 10/10 and 100/100. Service is crazy amazing, before arriving they gave me full of information of weather, how to get to the hotel,… They picked me up at the front of old town since car cannot come in, helped me with heavy luggages through all the stone path, when I left they also did the same, even helped me to call taxi, like I don’t have to do anything at all. Super nice, friendly and dedicate. I even got free room upgraded to a bigger room and on 2nd floor as courtesy. Breakfast included also taste good. Breathtaking view of Lijiang old town, you will own the whole check in location starting from sunrise till before lunch time (which the restaurant open for lunch for external guest). We also got hotpot for lunch here, taste really good. Seriously nothing to complain a out this place. If you need anything, just ask, they will take care of everything. Super recommend 💕

Hotel location is perfect. Just a little walk to the old town. Hotel is a little hard to find at the first place but you can call them so they will send someone to get you from where the taxi drop you off. Room is very comfortable with full amenity. The view from the hotel is stunning. You can clearly see the snow mountains on a sunny day. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They help arranging trip according to my preference. I end up extend stay for one more night. On the list night the owner host me some drinks at the bar. Love it!!

Super nice place to stay in! It’s located near the East gate of the Lijiang Old Town. During the start, my friend and I had a hard time pulling our luggage in the old town to the place as the old town’s road was uneven. After reaching the place, the person in charge told us a nearer way to get there (can set location to 一棵树店 and walk from that entrance to the old town). The place has no lift, the workers were so kind to carry our super heavy luggage up to the second floor. They settle our enquiries quickly and are super friendly! The boss even invited me to sit and eat with her at the lobby. Had a great chat with her! It’s a supper great experience and I would love to come again!
