"This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past."

"An absolutely fantastic experience! The rooms at this charming guesthouse were excellent, boasting spacious balconies, comfortable bedrooms, and well-appointed bathrooms. The owner was incredibly kind and charming, and the staff were all highly professional and attentive. We loved it so much we immediately extended our stay for an additional day! The guesthouse's location is superb – it's far enough from the ancient city's hustle and bustle to offer peace, yet still incredibly close, making getting around extremely convenient. I will definitely be back to stay here and explore the area again. A perfect score, 10/10!"

"The location is great, overlooking Lijiang Old Town. The owner was very nice. We agreed on a drop-off point when we checked in, and we were picked up right at the inn. Luckily, our driver knew the hotel and parked nearby. The room was nice, with snacks included! The owner gave us two coupons for his own Cross-Bridge Rice Noodle Shop and suggested we try Pigpen Coffee across the street for a 20% discount with our room card. ”Zha Zha Three-Piece Set”? We spent the afternoon exploring Lijiang Old Town, and tired, so we headed straight to Pigpen Coffee for afternoon tea. The white tea was fragrant, and they even gave us two delicious caramel cappuccinos! For dinner, we had rice noodles across the street. We happened to have a great view from the second floor, and the noodles were delicious, especially the passion fruit Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles! After wandering around for a while, we headed back to the inn. After searching for ages, (＞ｙ＜), and taking numerous wrong turns, we finally found our way back after a long detour. It seems even Baidu Navigation can be a bit tricky! Back at the inn, I brewed a delicious pot of tea. The two bottles of water they provided were already used, so I asked for more, but they immediately gave me four more. (´∀`) The inn was well-equipped, with a Xiaomi TV (with screen mirroring!), a Dyson hair dryer and humidifier (the air was a bit dry at night, so I had to use the humidifier), a smart toilet (so ”smart” and overly sensitive), automatic curtains, and a sensor-activated mirror light—it was a real techie! The next day, they even walked us to our pickup location after we checked out! It was a truly wonderful travel experience!"

"Pros: the garden and grounds were photogenic. The area was located near the top of the hilly ancient city. The hotel had amazing service, helping us book an affordable shared bus ride to Dali. Clean bedsheets. Cons: although the hotel looks good in photos, it is old and shabby and not taken care of. Lots of peeling paint and mold growing in the bathroom. There was a small desk, but in the corner and on the floor. Everything is trying to be Japanese style, but it’s not comfortable for someone like me who is tall and used to western and Chinese style. Also, I don’t need a sink in the entry way. A table or chair would make a lot more sense. I stayed in July and it really does need air conditioning because the morning sun and thin walls make the room incredibly hot in the morning and daytime. There were fans but I only used one because the other was covered in dust. It’s a shame I have to write a bad review because the place is cute on the outside and has potential to be much better."

"A belated review. This hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, about a ten-minute walk away. It's next to the Pullman Hotel and offers a very quiet and peaceful environment. As for the hotel facilities, I personally think the owner is quite thoughtful and is striving to emulate the tastes of first-tier brands. Therefore, the hotel is unlike many newer hotels these days. However, times change, and it seems that the high-cost amenities of international brands are being surpassed by the latest domestic alternatives (which are still new, just not as high-tech as many hotels today).
