Outstanding team at 一见云宽! Special thanks to 阿龙 for patiently introducing the Lijiang old town to us while walking us to the accommodations. He arranged for a 师傅to help us with the bags to and fro 一见云宽due to the cobblestone pathways in the old town. Initially, before our trip, I checked with him regarding the type of room we will get as there’s different layout for the room we booked (we didn’t want a room that’s facing another room) and 阿龙patiently sent us the photos of all the rooms and let us choose the one we wanted. During our stay, he and his team has been very welcoming, warm, helpful and patient with us - helping us handle our parcels, arrange for afternoon tea for us and also prepared a light breakfast including lemon cake, flower biscuit, chocolate and milk for us when we check out at 6am to go to jade dragon mountain - a gesture that we felt very touched as they even thought of the fact that we might need chocolate in case of high altitude sickness at the mountain. The 师傅who helped us with the bags even woke up early to meet us at 6am to help us carry our bags to the main road (10-15minutes walk away) and waited with us for our cab. I absolutely loved my stay at this charming boutique hotel. The hotel itself is very authentic and full of character, located right in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town. My room had a beautiful panoramic view over the old town, which made the experience even more special. What impressed me most was the incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff genuinely cared about their guests and always tried to anticipate my needs. Whenever I needed anything, they responded immediately and did their best to help. It really felt more like staying in a lovely family home than in a typical hotel. One particularly thoughtful detail touched me a lot. When the staff found out that I had to leave for an excursion at 5 a.m., they prepared a special breakfast box for me the night before so that I could take it with me. Such a small gesture, but it showed how genuinely kind and attentive they are. They also served a lovely afternoon tea with different desserts and snacks, and the staff helped carry my luggage between the parking area and the hotel, which is especially convenient when staying inside the Ancient Town. Overall, this is a wonderful family-style boutique hotel with authentic charm, beautiful views and truly heartfelt hospitality. I felt very comfortable and well cared for throughout my stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pauline's was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. When we had an early morning trip planned to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), they even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss out on our meal. The hotel is located in the charming Yuhu Village, which turned out to be one of our favorite places in the region. Since the village has controlled vehicle access between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the hotel helped coordinate our license plate registration with the gatekeepers, making arrival completely hassle-free. Yuhu Village itself is a destination worth experiencing. Horses and cars share the same narrow streets, giving the village a unique and authentic atmosphere. The village is filled with locally owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. One local restaurant we visited served vegetables and free-range chicken grown and raised by the owners themselves, making the meals feel especially fresh and authentic. We also loved the croissants from a nearby bakery and the burgers from a café down the road. The mountain views from many of these spots were simply beautiful. The food at Pauline's was another highlight and never disappointed. We ended up having dinner there several times during our stay, enjoying both local dishes and Western options. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, typically consisting of freshly prepared noodles or wontons accompanied by a selection of side dishes. Nighttime desserts were also provided and something to look forward to. Everything was well made and provided a great start/end to the day. Because we were staying for an extended period, the hotel also arranged complimentary pickup and drop-off services from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. Compared to the more famous old towns, Yuhu felt cooler, quieter, and far less crowded. Didi rides were easy to arrange, although food deliveries could take a little longer due to the location. That said, we never felt the need to leave the village as it had everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—every corner felt photo-worthy. We happened to visit during the rainy season, which was both a blessing and a curse. While the clouds and mist often obscured the mountain views, they also created a magical atmosphere and meant significantly fewer crowds. Overall, Pauline's offers a perfect combination of warm hospitality, stylish accommodations, excellent food, and an unforgettable village experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic and peaceful alternative to the busier tourist areas around Lijiang.

Our family trip to Leman House Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the North Gate Waterwheel of Lijiang Old Town, making it incredibly convenient to access the ancient city. At the same time, the courtyard environment is elegant and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets, which is perfect for resting and recuperating with children. The hotel features a children's play area with slides, building blocks, and a picture book corner, allowing kids to play and burn off energy to their heart's content. The family room type is spacious and comfortable, clean and tidy, and thoughtfully provides disposable face towels and bathrobes. There's plenty of living space, so it never feels cramped when moving around with children. The in-house dining offers mild and gentle flavors, very suitable for kids. The staff are warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and patiently recommending suitable tour routes. There's no need for long journeys; you can explore the ancient city right outside the door and return to a very tranquil hotel for rest. It's an excellent choice for families traveling with children in Lijiang.

I highly recommend staying at Yundu in Lijiang! This was by far the best accommodation of my entire trip. The room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, allowing me to wake up and enjoy the sunrise illuminating the golden peaks without having to rush out for sightseeing. It was incredibly comfortable and rejuvenating. The butler team provided exceptionally detailed service, handling everything from transportation and room upgrades to custom breakfast requests – their attentiveness exceeded expectations. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with excellent coffee and fruity flavors, making for a fantastic overall dining and living experience. The guesthouse is conveniently located for easy access to and from both ancient towns. It's quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the old city. Every day felt relaxed and pleasant. This is a treasure of a guesthouse, allowing you to shed your fatigue and peacefully gaze at the snow-capped mountains. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang.

I really have to praise the Lijiang Yunman Mushan Snow Inn, it was the biggest surprise of my trip to Lijiang! The location is just perfect – you can walk to explore all the streets and alleys of the Old Town. It's quiet yet central; the courtyard is incredibly peaceful at night, completely undisturbed by street noise. The overall design is an elegant Song-style courtyard, adorned with greenery and flowers. The play of light and shadow in the courtyard corridors is beautiful, making every casual photo feel like a professional shot. You absolutely *must* visit the rooftop panoramic terrace! During the day, you can gaze at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and in the evening, overlook the twinkling lights of the Old Town. Just sitting there feels incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are neat and dry, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete, showing great attention to detail. The staff's service is just right – friendly but not intrusive, and they patiently share local food recommendations and travel tips. The inn also has its own leisure and entertainment area, so you can relax without even leaving the premises. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang for a holiday; the experience is top-notch! It's already on my list for a return stay next time I'm in Lijiang!

The most therapeutic night I spent in Lijiang was, without a doubt, at Jushe. The courtyard, enveloped by lush greenery, perfectly shielded us from the hustle and bustle of the old town streets. The moment I stepped in, my heart found instant calm. In the evening, the thoughtful housekeeper delivered warm and comforting sweet soup, its gentle sweetness easing the fatigue of the day's travels. The next morning, there was no rush to get up and hit the road; a short walk led me to the stunning sight of the 'Sun-Kissed Golden Mountains,' offering expansive views and captivating scenery. During my leisure time, I leisurely strolled to the old town, weaving through unique shops brimming with local charm, experiencing Lijiang's unique tranquility. For those driving, there's no need to worry at all, as a dedicated parking area makes it convenient and stress-free. The entire guesthouse is serene and peaceful, devoid of any noise or commotion. The soft and comfortable living environment gently smoothed away the accumulated weariness of the journey, allowing me to slow down and savor the relaxed pace that is uniquely Lijiang's.

A perfect stay! The most impressive thing was the stunning view of the snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. If you're lucky, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon – seeing the pristine white peaks slowly turn golden is both magnificent and incredibly soothing. The room was meticulously clean and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were warm and polite, responding promptly to any requests. Enjoying coffee while gazing at the snowy peaks truly elevated the holiday experience. For anyone wanting to see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' or simply enjoy a beautiful mountain view, don't hesitate to book!

The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and providing travel tips. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Although it's on the street, it was very quiet at night; the attention to detail was excellent. My stay was perfect for a few days, and the value for money was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
