Hotels in Lijiang Urban Area, Lijiang

Stayed here in end Aug where there wasn’t much snow cap on the mountains and a lot of clouds blocking the mountain peaks, but I’d say that the room view is still really nice because there’s sun, lake, mountain, clouds all in one! What we appreciated from this hotel: 1. The views: on day 1, we had afternoon tea (complimentary with our booking) and just enjoyed the view. We also tried to catch sunrise from our bed, and also enjoyed the view over complimentary breakfast at Level 1. 2. The service: this is the most supportive service we’ve ever had among all the hotels in China and other countries we have been to. - transport: They helped us to schedule complimentary pickup transfers from Lijiang train station to the hotel on our first day and from hotel to Lijiang Sanyi airport on our last day. - Taobao: They also helped me a lot with my many Taobao orders, across communicating with the delivery people, collecting (1x a day) from the collection point, returning some items as they weren’t fitting, applying for refund as my parcels still didn’t arrive on the last day etc. - other advice: getting used to higher altitude in Lijiang, how to use the washing machine & dryer, recovering from diarrhoea, whether we can still visit Lijiang Ancient City at night - other hotel items: gave us makeup remover and cotton pads when we had our photoshoot etc. - food: packed breakfast for us when we had day tours that started from 6am and asked us to pick our breakfast if we’re eating at hotel a day before. - housekeeping: they’d ask us if we’d like housekeeping when we waited for our didi to come. For the 6am day tours when reception wasn’t open yet, we texted them for help to tidy the room and we came back to a tidied room when we returned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super comprehensive service, we highly appreciated this. 3. Toilet: this toilet has a bidet! We were pleasantly surprised by this. While the area around the hotel is generally still developing, to which one of our Didi drivers said there was growing interest in real estate around the area, among the 3 hotels we stayed in Yunnan so far across Kunming, Dali and Lijiang, this is the best one we have had 😊

The staff here are incredibly welcoming and personable! We stayed for three days and two nights, and on our second day, we met some friends from the US. We all chatted together about how enthusiastic the guesthouse staff were, and how amazing the breakfast and afternoon tea spreads were! You can see the snow-capped mountains from both the rooms and the common areas! It's hard to believe this price includes so much – excellent value for money! I can totally understand why so many foreigners choose to stay here! During our three-day stay, we met people from Thailand, the US, and Russia. Usually, guesthouses don't include lunch or dinner, but during one of our afternoon tea sessions, we asked the staff, and they mentioned that if we needed it, we could just let them know in advance. It's a shame it rained during our visit; otherwise, the scenery would have been even more stunning! Due to the weather, we also asked the staff for advice on some of our activities. When we ran into issues buying tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they proactively offered to help us sort it out. If you're a social butterfly, this place is highly recommended! You can strike up conversations during afternoon tea. At first, the staff seemed a bit reserved, and honestly, so were we, haha. From their perspective, they probably weren't sure if guests wanted to chat. So, if you're looking to connect, feel free to be a bit more proactive – we certainly got to know them better over afternoon tea!

I really have to commend this hotel! First off, it's very new, so all the facilities are in excellent condition. The rooms are also great, and the location is super close to the Ancient City. The hotel breakfast is quite good too. The housekeeping staff are incredibly thoughtful; they even neatly organized my charging cables when cleaning. The front desk staff were also very considerate. We had to leave early one morning for a trip to the snow mountains, and after speaking with them beforehand, we were able to pick up our prepared breakfast the next morning. There's also a terrace on the eighth floor with a nice view. All in all, if I ever come back to Lijiang, I'll definitely book this hotel again!

Among all the hotels I blindly picked for my Yunnan trip, this one was by far the most satisfying. I believe Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is visible in the distance, and the view from the restaurant is truly stunning. Both the service and the facilities are impeccable. For travel, choosing Accor hotels is always a safe bet. I had originally planned to stay at a guesthouse inside the Old Town the next day, but because the service and environment here were so great and the value for money was unbeatable, I canceled my other booking and extended my stay here for another night. What also really impressed me was the hotel's breakfast. They offered authentic Yunnan specialties like rice noodles, Er’si (a local noodle-like dish), and flower cakes. The freshly cooked Er’si was incredibly springy and absolutely delicious. All the flower cakes and mini bread rolls were freshly baked too, which was a huge plus! 👍

The hotel's location is a huge plus, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and fruit stores nearby, making it super convenient for meals and groceries morning and night. It's also very close to the main road, so getting a taxi is easy. You can get to all the major attractions, shopping malls, and business venues without any detours, which is a big relief when you're traveling with luggage.

## Review **Facilities:** The layout of the triple room is very family-friendly for those with two children. The entrance is 1.5 meters wide, with a partition in the middle that integrates a TV and a computer desk. Inside, there's a 1.8m bed and a 1.2m bed. The wardrobe, restroom, and bathroom are all in a line, parallel to the bedroom. There are two sliding doors, each facing a large bed on either side of the partition, allowing both sides to use the restroom and bathroom without disturbing each other, and providing good privacy. The TV can rotate 180 degrees, so it can be watched from either side. **Environment:** A hidden gem is that the floor-to-ceiling windows in the corridor outside the door directly face Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can watch the sunrise gilding the mountain without even leaving the hotel in the morning. **Hygiene:** The breakfast selection is diverse, and the hygiene is excellent, making it reassuring for families with children. The rice noodles are self-service with customizable toppings. While not as delicious as established rice noodle restaurants, it's definitely better than the average street stall. **Environment:** The hotel is not on a main street, so it's quiet at night. Turning left or right and walking 30 meters will lead you to a main road, making it car-friendly and avoiding traffic. **Service:** The laundry room is always busy, but you can drop off your clothes there with your room number, and the staff will wash them and deliver them to your room, saving you the hassle of waiting in line. There are two computers in the lobby available for free use, convenient for researching travel plans or handling urgent work.

The hotel is clean and comfortable with a pleasant environment and all the amenities you could need, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is excellent, very close to the old town. You can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from your room window, which is an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

🌟 Full five-star review! I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse for my trip to Lijiang. The room was clean and refreshing, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Since it was the off-season, the owner kindly upgraded us to a family suite for free. The eighth-floor terrace offers expansive views, directly facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the faint 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' – truly a healing sight. The guesthouse is quietly located yet still very convenient for accessing the ancient town. The breakfast options varied daily. The owners were warm and attentive, happy to share local travel tips. Our stay was incredibly pleasant, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
