Throughout our trip, the hotel arranged a dedicated driver to take us to Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The routes were well-planned, the driving was steady, and he waited patiently, allowing us to easily visit these sacred sites without any worries. I must give special praise to our butler, Zhixi. His service was incredibly meticulous and he anticipated our every need. From guiding us during check-in and offering itinerary suggestions to providing tips for high altitude, he followed up attentively throughout, always responsive to our requests. He handled every small detail with such care and thoughtfulness, making us feel completely at ease. The dining experience at the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were varied, delicious, and of high quality. A special thanks to Dekyi Wangmo for her exceptional care. Her service was warm and attentive; she proactively anticipated our needs, from taking orders to refilling tea and providing thoughtful details. The dining atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and we enjoyed every meal thoroughly. This was especially helpful for us who experienced some altitude sickness. Standard hotel services were also top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were humble, courteous, and responded quickly. Whether it was helping with facilities, addressing requests, or providing temporary assistance, they were efficient and warm, truly making us feel at home. From airport transfers and butler service to restaurant care, the Shangri-La Hotel's exceptional dedication protected our entire journey, making our high-altitude trip warm and smooth."

The floor drain is set up with two particularly heavy blocks! The water cannot flow down at all, and the result is that the golden mountain is covered with water! I asked the waiter and was told that I had to remove the two baffles before I could take a shower! This design is really awesome. In any hotel, before taking a shower, you should first open the stopper of the floor drain with your hands! ! ! ! ! ! ! Wasn't there any testing done before the hotel opened? ? ? Make it right quickly! The room is more compact! The bathroom is narrow (designed to take the blame), but if the design is changed, the shower door will not touch the toilet! ! ! ! The sanitation of the hotel's public areas needs to be improved. There is no eye-catching entrance reminder on the parking lot floor, and the sanitation is poor! The service at the front desk of the hotel is pretty good, and almost everything is answered! But I don’t understand, why do you want good reviews all the time? ! ! Counterproductive! Did the hotel manager promise any employee mechanism with named praise rewards? ? ? Any team should emphasize collective consciousness. What’s the point of this kind of praise with a certain employee’s name! Don’t adapt hotel management from hundreds of years ago to the current domestic market!"

I tried both breakfast and lunch, and they were delicious. There was also afternoon tea and a spa. I really wanted to try the whiskey here, but I was worried about altitude sickness, so I didn't dare. Overall, the experience was excellent. Highly recommend!"

For lunch, the restaurant on the sixth floor, "You Jian Shan" (Again See Mountain), is super convenient for visiting Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace! "Though mountains are far, a night here brings peace of mind." It's a place I'll remember fondly and definitely want to return to on my next visit."

"When I visited Lhasa this time, I specifically chose Xuelong Manor. It has a ******* style, and I stayed in a triple room with one 2-meter bed and two single beds. The room was very spacious and had two wall-mounted oxygen concentrators and a humidifier. They also provide central diffused oxygen for 18 hours, from 4 PM to 8 AM, and you can even use a nasal cannula for individual oxygen. This greatly alleviated our altitude sickness, and I experienced almost no symptoms, making all our daily excursions smooth. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel also has two other restaurants serving ******* food and Sichuan/Cantonese cuisine. Taxis are convenient in Lhasa; it only takes about ten minutes to get to Jokhang Temple or Potala Palace from the hotel. Being by the Lhasa River, it's relatively quiet. The hotel has a 24-hour laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and a drying area, plus an underground parking lot."
