This hotel is a little gem in Lhasa. First of all, it’s got a lift, which is a must at high altitude. They offered us free breakfast for the first night, but when we requested breakfast for the next two nights (paying), they actually offered it for free as well. The breakfast room has amazing views of the Potala palace.
The beds are very comfortable. There is a large coffee table, a large leather stool and an armchair by the window. And that window has another stunning view over the palace (if you’re on the 5th floor). The bathroom has everything you need, including shower flip flops (although we brought and used our own pair). Toiletries were good too. There were also slippers for the room.
Another nice touch was that they would bring a fruit platter to the room every evening at 19:00. This included jujube, cherry tomatoes, clementines and pears. All brilliantly sweet.
The hotel is very close to the big attractions in Lhasa, including the aforementioned Potala palace, Jokhang monastery and Barkor Street.
And most importantly, they had oxygen in the bedroom. A must have!
Finally, the staff is very helpful. They helped us book a takeaway for dinner on our first night and organised the free breakfasts the next day.

The first hotel I stayed in Lhasa after entering Tibet. I had booked and changed the booking before, and finally chose this one. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, the security guard quickly came to take my luggage. Because I had severe altitude sickness when I arrived in Lhasa by train that afternoon, I went to the hospital for oxygen before going to the hotel, so someone helped me with my luggage. I am very grateful. The hotel’s housekeeper Xiao Pu also helped me with my luggage and delivered it to the room. He was very patient and detailed about the hotel’s free laundry service, oxygen supply, etc. The hotel is very clean and provides disposable bath towels, disposable towels, toilet covers, etc. every day. The clean clothes are returned the next day. After the room is cleaned, the supplies will be replenished in time. There is a humidifier in the room. The room is also quite large and quiet. A piece of fruit is provided every day. It is very considerate. If I have the opportunity to come again, I will choose this hotel again

It is located between Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. There is a snack street downstairs with decent prices. I didn't go for the photo shoot in ethnic costumes that the hotel offered me. Firstly, I was too busy to go, and secondly, I should have gone for the photo shoot because I had other things to spend money on. So after discussing with my friends, I gave up. On the last night, I asked the front desk for Rhodiola rosea tea, but it was not delivered. I feel that this 4-star hotel is just so-so. I upgraded the room, but when I opened the window, there was just a wall 😅 Forget it!

The scenery is very beautiful and the environment is very elegant. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and has a good attitude. Especially the room arranged by Xiaofang at the front desk. The lighting and ventilation are very good. You can see the Potala Palace when you open the window. Recently stayed at the hotel and the overall experience exceeded expectations. First of all, the service is impressive. The front desk reception is warm and professional, the check-in process is efficient, the concierge staff actively assists with luggage, the room service responds quickly, and the attention to detail can be seen. The experience of staying in this hotel is amazing! As soon as I entered the door, the front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, the check-in procedure was quick, and they also introduced the surrounding fun places. The room was very satisfactory, the facilities were well-equipped, humidifiers, air conditioning, and oxygen were particularly sufficient, and it was very close to the Potala Palace. This special Guizang Manor oxygen-rich hotel in Tibet really saved my life! I didn't sleep well for 4 nights in Tibet. Although I booked oxygen-rich rooms, most of them were oxygen-life oxygen generators, which stopped automatically at the time. I woke up every night with a splitting headache, nausea and vomiting, and if I took over or wore a mask, only one person could breathe. I also stayed in a double-channel nasal inhalation (Shigatse), but, help, there was no air coming out, and the blood oxygen level never went up. I finally had a good sleep on the fifth night in Tibet, but it was only 100 yuan more expensive than the previous hotel, which was really worth it!! The hotel environment is good, it is very large inside, the room space is good, the hair dryer is easy to use! It also comes with lotion (it's really too dry), the humidifier mist is also big enough, and the hotel breakfast is also delicious! As a Cantonese, I was really moved to see the sausage and broccoli, and the rice noodle soup is delicious, it's the taste of Guangdong! Milk tea, soy milk and coconut milk are all delicious! Sugar oranges are very sweet, and dates are also delicious. I won't say more. I want to stay here again when I return to Lhasa later.
